4 months agoKyle responded quickly, arrived on time, was pleasant and efficient. A simple job turned in to a project, that happens in old houses. Kyle did an awesome job cleaning and repairing my tub drain!
3 months agoJust had a great plumbing experience with Kyle, owner/operator of KBC. After seven years and four plumbers, none of whom could solve why our kitchen sink would not drain properly and consistently (but had no problem clearing it temporarily at a hefty price ), Kyle assessed the problem in a way that none before him had done: he opened up the half-wall behind the sink to access the drain pipe directly, thoroughly snaked and cleared a twenty+ years clog (thanks to the previous owners), then ascertained that the sink had never been properly vented and added pipe for an AAV before closing the wall back up—all at a fair and reasonable price. Kyle does clean work in an efficient and friendly manner. He’s our plumber for life.

5 months agoOur old Instant Hot was getting stuck, and the hot water just kept running. (Old faucet in this photo) We knew that it was going and needed to be replaced. My husband thought we’d just have to “live without it” but I use it almost every day! I was able to find & purchase the exact model, but we didn’t have anyone for this “small” job. To make it worse, the space under the sink is tight so we didn’t know who would be willing to work on it and we needed someone with plumbing expertise! Luckily, I called Ferguson supply and they highly recommended that I call ASAP Plumbing. I am SO glad that I made that call, because from start to finish every employee was incredibly helpful. Two days later, my instant hot is working again and I’m able to make a cup of tea. You really miss these modern conveniences once they’re gone. I’m happy to highly recommend ASAP Plumbing (and our tech Dave!) because they are able to tackle a wide variety of issues and they do come out quickly! I could not be happier. They also provided us with water leak sensors, free of charge. That was very generous -much appreciated!
7 months agoHad an emergency, did a google search and came across ASAP with great reviews. Their tech, Bob, arrived within 90 minutes, diagnosed the problem, went to grab parts and installed. Our house on LBI went from 42 degrees to 70. Bob was friendly, neat, and efficient. Very good service and reasonable prices.

8 months agoJenkins and Sons Plumbing & Heating
103 S Franklin Blvd, Pleasantville, NJ 08232, USA
(609) 804-5250I have an old oil furnace that stopped working. The guy I normally use was on vacation. So I started calling around and these people said they could come out and look at and it would cost $130 for them to come. So the first thing he did was look at the tank and said he couldn’t go any further because my tank was leaking. So my wife calls me and tells me this and I said that’s strange because I’ve never seen a puddle under it or even smell anything which oil has a strong smell. So that was it 130$ still don’t what’s wrong with it and he was gone. So I called the next company the guy came out found the problem in about 5 minutes which was the coupler and I’ve still yet to find any leaks on the tank. Not that a small pinhole leak if there was one would have mattered anyway because it wouldn’t have.If it was his mom or wife that had no heat in the middle of winter he probably wouldn’t have seen any leaks either. Just any easy way to get out of work. I think because it was an older unit that he had never worked on it scared him. She said he was taking pictures and laughing about it with someone .So that was my experience a different guy might have been a different story I don’t know.
3 months agoI love that my phone call was answered immediately and the estimate for replacement of leaking water heater was provided in minutes; price was reasonable. The work was scheduled for next day and RJ texted me before arriving. Very friendly and nice guy, I really appreciate that he listened to my concerns and discussed different options before he installed the new heater. The job was done very neatly and thoroughly, THANK YOU!!
6 months agoI called Jenkins to arrange for a new toilet and to look at some faucets that had become problematic. Joe was here for the entire day working on 3 faucet replacements, one toilet repair and replacing one toilet. Our house is 100+ years old so we’re always ready for costly surprises. Joe worked carefully, explained all of the problems and how he was addressing them. I will 100% call them for any further plumbing work.
3 months agoSJ Pro Plumbing and Heating
400 Apple Dr, Egg Harbor City, NJ 08215, USA
(609) 404-8913Had a sink back up at 8pm on a Monday night and called 3 different plumbers who advertised 24 hour service, I was told they wouldn't be able to make it out until the morning. None of which were actual plumbers but just customer service reps. However when I called SJ Pro I spoke to an actual plumber who recommended I call the city to have the sewer line checked in order to save myself the money (really awesome guy). Unfortunately that wasn't the issue and after calling back SJ Pro they had a guy here in under an hour to fix my plumbing issue. Did a great job and fast honest service. Highly recommend this company!
3 years agoSJ Plumbing is extremely professional and reliable. They respond quickly, show up when they say they will, and get the job done right. Their pricing is very fair and transparent. 1325 Somers Point Rd, Egg Harbor Township, NJ 08234, USA
(609) 653-6363Throughout the entire process, my expectations were consistently exceeded by the respect, courtesy and professionalism demonstrated by Mr. Byrd and his entire team. Every phase of my septic system replacement project from inspection and approvals to final site cleanup and seeding was explained and my numerous questions answered thoroughly. The staff and crew were exceptional and very responsive keeping me informed and involved in every step of a major undertaking. Thomas Byrd and his entire company are to be commended for going above and beyond to get the project completed within budget and ahead of a very tight and demanding schedule. The range of services provided was all inclusive of my specific and unique project requirements including inspections, engineering and tree removal. At the conclusion of the project, my property was returned to a pristine state. I highly recommend the services of Thomas Byrd Plumbing and Septic.
7 years agoWe're not happy with the finished product! Been over a year now. Tried to contact Byrd and previous home owner. Neither party wants to take responsibility for the pour soil used! The amount of rocks in the fill dirt is unbelievable. Nothing in the yard is level or smooth graded. Sprinkler system was post to be repaired also in the contract. Getting someone to come out to fix the top soil and get the leach field resodding as it should have been in the first place.
4 years agoI highly recommend Tom Byrd Plumbing. They were prompt, arriving within the appointment window. Mike looked at my job and gave me an estimate of how long the job would take and how much it would cost. He was spot on! He was also very clean and thorough, and cleaned up his work area when finished. I've had Tom Byrd Plumbing do several jobs at my house, and I've always been pleased with their work!

3 months agoI called Barron plumbling when I had a plumbing issue and I could not have been more pleased. Dale came that same morning and was friendly, thorough and professional. He resolved the issue for a fair price and provided free estimates for other work that needed to be done. I will be using them again in the near future.
4 months agoWe were lucky enough to have our water heater last us for 20 years until it finally died last week. After making the call, Dale (Barron’s Tech) was at the house first thing the next morning. He was great, talked to me very clearly about our options, we chose to replace it which he did quickly and efficiently. I would highly recommend Barron and their tech Dale!
3 months agoProfessional Drain Cleaning in Atlantic City, New Jersey
Atlantic City's unique coastal environment and historic infrastructure mean drain issues can go from minor to major quickly. Whether you're located near the bustling Boardwalk or in the quiet residential neighborhoods of Chelsea or Venice Park, you need a plumber who is ready right now. Our service takes the guesswork out of finding help by scanning our network of local certified professionals and filtering them by your exact Atlantic City zip code.
We don't just give you a list of names and hope for the best. We proactively call the plumbers in our network to confirm they can solve your specific drain issue today. This ensures you get the 24/7 emergency service you need without the frustration of making endless phone calls only to find out no one is available. From salt-air corrosion to sand-clogged lines, we find the right Atlantic City expert for your situation.
Common Drain Issues in Atlantic City, New Jersey
Sand and Salt Infiltration: Living so close to the Jersey Shore means sand often finds its way into indoor and outdoor drains after beach days. This heavy sediment creates stubborn clogs that standard household chemicals simply cannot dissolve, requiring professional hydro-jetting.
Historic Pipe Corrosion: Many properties in Atlantic City feature older plumbing systems. The salt-heavy air and moisture typical of the New Jersey coast accelerate the rust and scale buildup inside metal pipes, leading to frequent backups and restricted water flow.
Seasonal Rental Overload: During the peak summer season, Atlantic City's high-occupancy rentals see a massive increase in usage. This extra pressure on the drainage system often leads to 'fatbergs' and grease clogs that can cause sewage backups at the worst possible times.
Coastal High Water Tables: Atlantic County's high water table can interfere with proper drainage, especially during heavy rains or high tides. When the ground is saturated, older drain lines are more prone to slow drainage or back-filling from the main sewer line.
Seasonal Drain Maintenance Tips for Atlantic City, New Jersey
Spring Sand Flush: After a winter of coastal winds and storms, have your outdoor drains and main lines checked for sand and salt accumulation to ensure they are ready for the spring rains.
Summer Grease Management: With the tourist season in full swing, be extra vigilant about what goes down the kitchen sink. Avoid pouring cooking oils or fats down the drain, as the summer heat can cause them to coagulate and block lines quickly.
Fall Leaf Clearing: Atlantic City's autumn winds can pile leaves into street gutters and exterior drains. Keep your perimeter drains clear of debris to prevent water from backing up into your basement or crawlspace during Nor'easters.
Winter Pipe Protection: Ensure your pipes in unheated areas are properly insulated against the coastal chill. Frozen pipes can lead to cracks that only become apparent as major leaks or drainage failures once the thaw begins in the spring.
Average Drain Cleaning Costs in Atlantic City, New Jersey
Drain cleaning costs in Atlantic City typically range based on the severity of the clog and the equipment needed. Basic snaking is more affordable, while hydro-jetting or emergency after-hours services in the NJ coastal area may fall on the higher end.
