That's when we called Root 24 Hrs Plumbing and they dispatched a crew right away. They were able to clean out the pipe with a special grabbing tool and saved us in a pinch. These guys are nothing short of the best and very professional. Would highly recommend!

111 McKinley St, Turnersville, NJ 08012, USA
(856) 237-7380We had a stubbornly clogged toilet that just wouldn’t clear, even after trying everything ourselves. Our plumber arrived quickly, was extremely professional, and diagnosed the issue right away. He explained everything clearly, worked efficiently, and had the toilet running perfectly again in no time. What really stood out was how courteous and respectful he was of our home — he kept everything clean and made sure we understood what happened and how to prevent it in the future. The level of service, expertise, and friendliness was honestly above and beyond. If you need a reliable plumber who truly knows what they’re doing, this is the person to call. We’re incredibly grateful and will absolutely be using them again! Highly recommended!
5 months agoI called Mike on a Sunday Morning with my drain issue. Him and his partner Stefan came right out to my house in a few hrs. Immediately identified the issue with my clog. Although the price he quoted me was great for a on the spot service I unfortunately couldn't afford it today. He was more than understanding and directed my husband on what to do to clear the drain. Mike didn't charge me anything to come out today which was amazing I never expected that to be the case especially on the weekend. I highly recommend this company for any plumbing needs. Mike and Stefan were fantastic. I will be using them again if I ever need a plumber again.
6 months agoMike came very quickly! He's very knowledgeable and pin pointed the issue. In a time where most companies don't come out at the middle of the night, 24 hours Drain and Sewer line cleaning did an awesome job! I recommend them to anyone!

1 W Turnbull Ave, Havertown, PA 19083, USA
(610) 579-2088I cannot recommend Jim enough. We had a super inconvenient plumbing emergency in our basement on a Friday night. After calling a few places and not getting responses, Jim answered right away and was at our house in less than a half hour. It took quite a bit of troubleshooting to diagnose the exact problem we were dealing with, but he was patient and methodical until we landed on the problem. Even after nearly 5 hours, Jim was working hard on a very stubborn clog. It eventually got too late and we had to settle up for the night, but he assured us that what we paid him for that night would cover the whole job and that he would come back as soon as possible to finish the job. I bet a lot of plumbers would have just left with the money and not been personally invested in coming back, but within a few days he was back at it and got everything sorted out for us. He takes a lot of pride in his work and is overall just a really nice guy. We were really impressed. Thanks so much, Jim!
2 years agoI can't say enough good things about Jennings Plumbing & Heating. My family had an emergency plumbing situation late Sunday night. Jim from Jennings wasn't in the immediate area so he suggested other places to call and assured he would check in on me when he was in the area. Jim gave a call back when none of the other big companies did. We were still dealing with the aftermath of the emergency so Jim came by the house. He offered a helping hand and unclogged our drain for us. Wonderful service and would highly recommend to anyone in need of a plumber!
4 years agoJim was a Life saver. He answered our call after our pipe cracked under the tube. He came out same day. He also help my husband with our new oven install. Jim is one of a kind. I would give him 10 stars if it was available. Thanks a bunch

(610) 463-1828George Lopez at City Plumbing has the right stuff! He's honest, upfront, & tells you exactly what is going on, whether it will earn your business, or not. My kitchen had a clogged drainage line for weeks. He was able to get my line up and running. I picked up his advice for a professional solution to my new house. He gave me some cold, hard facts about the system I had. This was useful to know. My home insurance covered me less my deductible so the cost was great. He provided me with a follow-up quote for further work. George is great to talk with. He is friendly and likeable. I respect professional men like George. City Plumbing has my trust because of his integrity, hard work, and pleasant personality. This guy is worth calling before you purchase a home. He can tell you the missing plumbing system and what it will require once you have moved in. You can try these.
5 months agoJAM Plumbing re-plumbed our entire 10 unit condo complex. This was a very detail-oriented job, given that many residents worked at home during COVID. A lot of coordination and planning was required. The PM maintained a current schedule, and the team worked hard and efficiently. JAM will continue to be our go-to company for all of the plumbing and contracting services we need.
3 months agoI could not have had a better experience with this business. The plumbing issues were so annoying, but the company quickly and effectively fixed our issue. They were a breeze. They quickly fixed the problem after explaining the issue and giving me some helpful tips. These men are experienced in their field, and it shows. They are professional, local and trustworthy.

(267) 650-3418For all of my Philly friends and family that need drain cleaning — I confidently refer Daniels. They are a truly family-owned company that genuinely cares about both their clients and their employees. From the moment you call, to the professionalism on the job, all the way through cleanup, their service is consistently 5-star. Highly recommended.
3 months agoHired them for Grease Trap cleaning. They charged my credit card when setting up appointment. Gave me 4 hour window from 10am to 2pm to show up. Never showed up. And Never called if they running late or going to show up. When I called them at 1:30pm, some lady said oh they had issue and they will show up now between 2 to 3pm. Had no decent courtesy to call customer that they running late. The lady claimed its not her job to call and let customer know if they running late. Then she says shes cancelling and hung up. I tried calling their number again and again and it kept going to voicemail. No professionalism or work ethics at all.

5 months agoBommer Plumbing completely gutted and remodeled our master bathroom, and we couldn't be happier with the outcome! They installed a beautiful tile floor, tiled tub/shower, vanity, and more. All done with great attention to detail. They were professional, dependable, and completed the project in a timely manner. We felt very comfortable and trusted them in our home throughout the entire process. They also kept the space clean and organized each day. The quality of the work really shows, and our bathroom looks amazing. All the employees were fantastic-especially Christina and Keith. Anytime we had a question or needed something checked, they were quick to respond and come back. That kind of service really gives you peace of mind. We highly recommend Bommer Plumbing! Patti and Joe from Stratford
3 months agoI can’t rave enough about my experience with Bommer! I believe it was Christina, who took my initial call. She was so kind and understanding. We talked through my needs and she was able to get me on the schedule. When Keith came out he was informative and pleasant. He diagnosed the issue, thoroughly explained what needed to be done and got to work. I had paperwork that I needed to have completed and the office went above and beyond to have it back to me same day. It is evident that Bommer puts their customers first. I would recommend them 10/10. Thank you guys for helping to ease some of the stress I was having. I am immensely grateful for your excellent customer service and outstanding work.

(610) 556-0861These people are the BEST!!! Let me just tell you... Next to your house actually burning down (God Forbid), the only thing worse is having to replace the entire sewer line. Especially in an older row home. And even that's debatable, because at least Homeowner's covers a fire. LOL So when my 75 year-old Sewer line was found to have collapsed, I did not take it well. I needed a whole new stack and line, from the back of my finished basement, through the wall, my concrete stoop, under the shared walk and front lawn, and finally out to the city main. Nightmare Scenario. I got several quotes for both the excavation, line replacement, and the concrete chip and repour. None of the other contractors even came close to P&A's prices and turn-around times. (the ones who even bothered to call back that is.) P&A held my hand throughout the entire process. Very empathetic, but shot me straight on the options. The PM (Mary) and foreman (Christian) laid out a comprehensive plan, provided financing sources, took care of all the permits and utility mapping, and called me every day with progress reports, photos, and next-day planning. If you've ever seen what it takes to replace a sewer line in an older row house, you know it takes so much drilling, demo, and excavation that it literally looks like a bomb hit the front lawn and came out the rear of the basement. However... Regardless of the mountains of Earth, boulders of concrete, and gaping trenches necessary to get the job done, P&A made sure my handicapped neighbor (wheelchair), her caregiver's, and my elderly Aunt were never inconvenienced. The crew took meticulous care to install and reinstall both fixed and leveled walking boards in both my basement and on our shared walk, EVERY DAY during the project. They didn't just make it "safe enough," but rather, the way you'd do it yourself for your own family, especially per the special needs. Once the last of the concrete was poured and finished, they leveled and put my front lawn as back to normal as humanly possible, put the basement wall and soffit back together, reattached my slop sink, and, save for a few carpet tiles that couldn't be saved after the interior dig, my fully finished basement was also completely restored just as it was before. Like it never happened... (except for my shiny, new stack.) lol. Hands-down, the best customer service, workmanship, and genuinely good people I've had the pleasure of dealing with in a very ling time, if "ever" in fact. Thank you so much, P&A.
9 months agoI can’t recommend P&A enough. They are the only company I call for work in my house from a leaking overflow, fixing and replacing portions of an old sewer stack, and even going through the concrete of our basement floor to fix piping issues. They are professional, prompt, and most importantly honest. They will tell you exactly what to expect and keep you updated as work is being completed. I also know of other people that are using them for bathroom remodels as well and have been very happy with the results. Thank you P&A!
4 months agoI was in need of a plumber and quick after a pipe burst in my garage. I called a neighbor who recommended P&A. They had availability the same day, did good work, and most importantly did not price gauge me because I needed the work done on the same day. Mary couldn’t have been more helpful and she had someone at my house within a half hour of the call. It was almost magical. I highly recommend them!
3 months agoPlumbing Pals
2424 E York St Suite 100-B, Philadelphia, PA 19125, USA
(267) 719-2354Plumbing Pals came through for us during a true emergency with frozen pipes, right as new tenants were moving in the next day. They were responsive, professional, and got the issue resolved quickly under tight timing. The quality of the work was excellent, and communication throughout was solid. I’d absolutely use them again and would recommend them without hesitation.
3 months ago5-Star Review for Plumbing Pals. My tub faucet had started making this super annoying clicking sound every time I turned to the right. I called Plumbing Pals and I was impressed when they scheduled me for that morning. Anthony was friendly, professional, and clearly knew exactly what he was doing. He quickly diagnosed the issue, explained what was wrong in simple terms, and had the faucet fixed in no time at all. No mess, no unnecessary upselling – just fast, efficient service. The price was very reasonable too – definitely felt like good value for the quick resolution and quality work.
4 months agoWe didn’t have much complaint about the plumber himself—he did his job in identifying the leak issue. However, my company experienced one of the worst customer service interactions we’ve had in a long time. After opening the ceiling, the team removed and discarded the drywall pieces, which made restoration much more difficult. When I asked about this, the customer service representative claimed the drywall “crumbled into small pieces” on the spot even without checking with anyone - and which was clearly not the case as seen in the picture. What was most frustrating wasn’t just the issue itself, but the dismissive response. A simple, respectful reply like “we’ll check with the technician and get back to you” would’ve been enough. Instead, I was told to “go read the agreement you signed.” That kind of response shows a clear lack of care for the customer experience. Unfortunately, this interaction left the impression that this is not a customer-focused business.

1755 N 13th St, Philadelphia, PA 19122, USA
(267) 979-4517Awesome plumber. Tony came out on short notice after communicating via text. He accurately diagnosed a failed sump pump, and then returned to replace the broken part. He did exactly what he said he would do, and the price was fair. Tony's a true professional, and he was nice to hang out with. Strongly recommend.
3 months agoTony was polite, professional, and prompt in providing us service and was the only one who could help us during the emergency. We had a frozen pipe burst that was flooding our basement. We needed to shut off the water but couldn't do it from inside the house so I put in a service request with PWD that never got submitted apparently. After multiple calls, they finally came and told us they couldn't shut off the water without a shutoff notice or defect notice, only to issue us a defect notice minutes later. I called Tony and he came out the same day and was able to shut off the water in minutes. He is very communicative, responsive and efficient and not to mention, affordable! We had called a few different plumbers and they wanted to charge way more and we'd have to wait at least a day or two to get assistance. Thank you Tony!!
3 months agoWe had to call for emergency service over the weekend because our water heater’s pilot light went out. Tony came out quickly, and the emergency fee was very reasonable. He was friendly, explained everything he was doing, and really took the time to figure out the issue. A few days later, our hot water is still working perfectly! I’d definitely recommend this company and will keep them in mind for any future plumbing needs.
6 months agoProfessional Drain Cleaning in Camden, New Jersey
Home to the historic Waterfront and a gateway to Philadelphia, Camden faces unique plumbing challenges ranging from aging pipes in established neighborhoods to modern infrastructure needs. Dealing with a clogged sink or a backed-up sewer line is stressful enough without the hassle of calling multiple plumbers only to find they are booked up for the week.
Our service changes the way Camden residents handle plumbing emergencies. We maintain a live network of certified local professionals across the city. When you reach out, we don't just give you a list; we actively filter our database by your exact New Jersey zip code and personally call the plumbers to verify they are ready to handle your specific drain cleaning job right now. Whether you're near Rutgers University-Camden or over by the Adventure Aquarium, we ensure help is actually on the way.
Common Drain Issues in Camden, New Jersey
Camden's many historic brick row homes often feature old cast iron or clay pipes. Over time, these materials degrade, causing rough interior surfaces that snag hair and debris, leading to frequent stubborn clogs that retail chemicals simply cannot dissolve.
With many neighborhoods featuring mature sycamore and maple trees, invasive tree roots are a major issue for Camden sewer lines. Roots seek out moisture and can penetrate even small cracks in your pipes, leading to total blockages and potential sewage backups in your basement.
Camden’s urban environment means heavy usage on older municipal connections. During periods of heavy South Jersey rain, combined sewer systems can put extra pressure on your home’s drainage, causing slow drains or gurgling sounds in your toilets and tubs.
In multi-unit housing common near the Cooper River, grease buildup in shared kitchen stacks is a frequent headache. What goes down a neighbor's drain can often affect your unit, requiring professional hydro-jetting to clear years of accumulated cooking fats and oils.
Seasonal Drain Maintenance Tips for Camden, New Jersey
Fall Leaf Management: Ensure your outdoor drains and gutters are clear of fallen leaves. Camden’s autumn foliage can easily clog yard drains, leading to basement flooding during October and November rainstorms.
Winter Pipe Protection: Before the first freeze hits South Jersey, disconnect garden hoses and insulate exposed pipes. Frozen drains can crack, leading to expensive repairs when the ground thaws in the spring.
Spring Sewer Check: After the spring thaw and heavy rains, have your sewer line inspected. The shifting ground in New Jersey can cause 'bellies' in older pipes that collect debris and lead to early summer clogs.
Summer Holiday Prep: With more houseguests during the summer months, remind everyone to avoid flushing 'flushable' wipes or pouring grease down the sink. Increased usage often triggers failures in already weakened Camden plumbing systems.
Average Drain Cleaning Costs in Camden, New Jersey
Pricing in Camden typically depends on the severity of the clog, the equipment required (such as motorized snakes vs. hydro-jetting), and whether the issue is in a single fixture or the main sewer line.
