The Eagles had sewer issues a few weeks back and Andre from Capcon showed up after hours. He was so knowledgeable and accommodating. As we thought we were going to have to close. We couldn’t get an outhouse. He worked tirelessly to get the issue resolved. I would 100% recommend Capcon.

I sent Cap Con a message regarding our need for a main sewer line clean out. They responded quickly, and were extremely flexible, working around our crazy schedule. Cap Con Sent Brad to our home and he was absolutely fantastic! He was friendly, transparent and willing to answer all of our questions. He did an amazing clean out of our sewer line and showed us everything on the camera, before and after. I highly recommend Brad, and as long as he works for Cap Con - they have my business !

I would give them 1 million stars if I could. They came out on a super short notice to snake my main drain that had started to backup. The staff was friendly and competent. They also took extra precautions to ensure no sewer water splashed from the snake onto any of the surrounding areas. Our first call for the last 40 years has been and will continue to be Best Value Plumbing Rooter. Not only is it locally owned and operated but it is also Veteran ran.

I hired Best Value earlier this year to take care of plumbing issue, so when I realized I had another issue Best Value was my first choice to call. Just as with my previous experience they responded quickly, provided a reasonable and comprehensive quote. I was quick to review the quote and the work was scheduled for the very next day. The work was completed as scheduled and within the amount quoted. I would hire them again; without hesitation!

Well it came time to replace my water heater and find a company to do the duty.I read reviews on a few companies and liked the reviews on Best Value plumbing & Heating. I talked to Ross on the phone and explained my situation. Ross and Ethan were here Monday morning and while they checked out my water heater, they gave me some information and they left to get a new water heater. From the time they arrived, removed and installed my new water heater they were professional at all time and the job was completed in a timely manner. Thank you Ross and Ethan from Best Value Plumbing and Heating. My go to company for future issues.

Lee sent one of his Techs out asap. Grady arrived exactly on time, quickly assessed what needed to be done to fix my basement septic drainage issue. Grady was highly professional, informative and highly competent. Really seemed to be happy and enjoy his work. Couldn’t be more satisfied. Highly recommend PipeDown Plumbing for all your plumbing needs. A+++

Lee and his crew helped turn our dream into reality. We have a 1959 home with original primary bath. We hoped to move the toilet across the room, move the shower down 2.5 feet (new water supply & drain location), and add a dual vanity in place of the single before. This crew promptly assessed the job & provided an estimate. Upon execution, they got done in about 1/2 the anticipated time. They were professional and friendly. My husband and I are doing most of this reno ourselves, and Lee + his crew were glad to help us through the process. We will definitely be using them again! I will post before & after pics when the bath is entirely finished.

Always there when we need them! Lee is willing to go out of his way to get our plumbing disasters taken care of fast. Sean tore out our old leaky galvanized pipes and installed new pipes. It was a big job that took alot of time and effort. He showed an enthusiasm and passion for his work that was obvious in the high quality job that was done. We couldn't be more pleased!

Customer Service is incredible. At the first visit they agreed with other plumbers that I had a huge issue- thousands to fix. However, I explained my doubts and questions. Kindred listened and understood my concerns and agreed to come back out and look at the issue again, it indeed turned out to be a simple blockage in a rather interesting and confusing home modification made before I bought the property. Great company, fantastic team.

I was very pleased with the quick response and service from all of the representatives from Kindred Plumbing & Heating. John came out the very first day shortly after we called with no heat as I had recently purchased the home in Belt, MT. He spent the entire day assessing the needs that should be updated to have the most efficient system for our new home. He and other technicians were out here for 3 days upgrading the heat system as needed and installed central air for next summer. They were all very professional and hard workers and completed the job in a timely manner. They were all very professional and friendly. Thank you Kindred Crew from the Johnsons

The owner came out and did a locate to map the drain pipes under my basement concrete foundation. The cast iron pipes had deteriorated to the point of full obstruction. 2 other plumbers that quoted this project prior did not offer this locate service. Also, the project quote was 30% less than the other 2 quotes. The owner was personable, honest and even recommended putting in additional drain connections in the wall should we ever need to bypass other remaining cast iron pipes below the foundation. Kelly from the office was great at scheduling and communicated consistently regarding scheduling and billing updates. Kelly was always aware of what was going on and was always available when calling and texting. Dan and Ron spent 3 days working this project as planned and did an outstanding job, communicated consistently and were organized, on time and kept the work area clean. Every one I interacted with at this company was professional, personable and customer service oriented. The cost was exactly as quoted. I highly recommend this plumbing company and will only use them in the future.

Of course it is Friday and the water heater figured it would go BAD!!! Leaking all over the basement. Called these guys and they had a tech that was available. Early afternoon. Great water heater, professionally installed and a professional Bradford White. Made my weekend with hot water. All plumbing was perfect and Ron and Chris did the perfect job. Kudos for the team for a perfect job well done.

My furnace just stopped working this morning, called Talon right away and the technicians (a journeyman and apprentice) were here in early afternoon. Gladly nothing major was wrong. They vacuumed and cleaned it, made sure the lines weren't clogged and the flame indicated it was using gas efficiently. Both of these men were very pleasant and knowledgeable. Thank you Talon for your professionalism.

Donato and Blake were professional and thorough on our walk through. We have numerous bathroom projects to update our 70s style bathrooms (the tricky parts). They examined and explained everything they were noticing, knew in depth about the hardware they could see, and made it all make sense. It was easy to tell they enjoy what they do and take pride in their work. We are pleased to work with enthusiastic professionals and can't wait to see how the projects turn out. Confident today's visit for just a consultation depicts quality of their craftsmanship.

Not happy at all with the service. Cody didn’t even verify where my leak was. Installed a firm I coupler over where I thought the leak was split it which would have allowed water to still leak out. Only checked for water because I suggested it. Saw water up higher sealed that area. Didn’t check to see if that took care of the problem. I still had a leak which I found closer to the ceiling. Found mold behind a cabinet which needed taken down to see. The water was running down the pipe from a hole in the pvc drain. I think he was in too much of a hurry to investigate it properly. I cannot recommend this company at all!

Very Disappointing Experience – Poor Communication, Damage, and Dishonesty I hired Grizzly Plumbing to move a sewer vent and install a shower valve. All plumbing was exposed, and there was a stud in the way. I told them they could remove the stud if necessary, but specifically warned them there was a finished room on the other side of the wall and not to damage the drywall. I do remodels for a living and even offered them multiple appropriate tools and alternative methods to avoid damaging the drywall. Despite this, they immediately grabbed a Sawzall and busted straight through the drywall on the opposite side. When installing the shower valve, I clearly told them not to install their fitting on top because I needed to move items inside the wall. They ignored this instruction and did it anyway. I removed their fitting and installed mine correctly. Later, the invoice stated “customer touched job – no warranty,” which is unfair considering the issue was caused by their failure to follow directions. to begin with — how can they even claim to warranty anything when they never checked whether the work was leaking or functioning properly? I specifically asked if they had plugs to test the system, and they did not. There was still work left to be done, but at that point I no longer trusted their workmanship, so I finished the job myself. They also arrived without necessary supplies and had to run to the store twice. They left without acknowledging the drywall damage. After calling the office, the front desk employee was apologetic and said the owner would contact me — which never happened, despite multiple follow-ups over 4 weeks. Instead, I received a bill for over $700. On the bill, they claimed the drywall damage “could not be avoided” because the sheetrock was nailed instead of screwed. This was false — the drywall was screwed in, making this explanation just another excuse rather than accountability. They sent a contractor who only partially patched the wall. After waiting four weeks for resolution, I ultimately fixed the drywall myself. Overall, this was an extremely frustrating and unacceptable experience. The lack of professionalism, refusal to follow clear instructions, unnecessary property damage, and dishonest explanations on the invoice show a complete lack of accountability. I strongly recommend that nobody use Grizzly Plumbing. If you value your home, your time, your money or being treated honestly, look elsewhere. You’d be better off doing it yourself. Wast of money

My husband contacted Grizzly Plumbing in early October to come out to our home in Great Falls and repair a couple of small plumbing issues. The work took less than 45 minutes and consisted of reconnecting a toilet supply line and fixing a P-trap, yet we were charged over $260. The technician was very quiet and provided little explanation of the work being performed. The helper mostly stood by and observed. At the conclusion of the visit, the only communication was that the work was completed, followed by “thanks” and “have a nice day.” The lack of communication and professionalism during the service visit was disappointing. I later contacted the office to discuss the bill and was informed that the work order indicated the technicians were on site for nearly two hours. I explained that this timeframe was not accurate. She was friendly and understanding, and advised that the business owner would contact me to discuss the time discrepancy. That call was made near the end of October. I called again a week later and again was advised she provided the information to the owner and she apologized for him not following through. It is now December, and I have still not received a call from the owner. Grizzly Plumbing’s website states that the company was founded to provide honest, transparent service with exceptional workmanship and to be an alternative to profit-driven plumbing companies. Unfortunately, based on our experience, those values were not reflected in the service we received. Due to the lack of follow-through and the unprofessional conduct during the service visit, we will not be using this company again.

Shawn Holm and his apprentice did a wonderful job re-plumbing our entire home! Both rose to the challenge of replacing 70 year-old corroded pipes, removing and replacing a concrete wash basin, installing a back flow valve for the sprinkler system, and installing faucets and stoppers on sinks. Shawn is very professional in everything he does. He returned our initial call immediately, setting up a timely consultation for our needs. His turnaround on the estimate and making an appointment for the work was also more than reasonable and convenient to our timeline. Shawn made sure to contact us prior to our agreed-upon work day, in order to remind and confirm the upcoming job. He arrived at the scheduled time and did an incredibly thorough job in a short amount of time (a day and a half; it would have only taken a day if there weren’t complications on our end). Shawn followed up with us a few days later, to ensure our satisfaction with the work done. We couldn’t be happier! It’s so nice to shower with good water pressure and to have confidence that the pipes won’t break during a cold snap😊

Holm Plumbing came out to fix a leaking shower/bath faucet within a week of asking for a quote. Very clear communication and expectation management, which I appreciated. Would recommend them for any of your plumbing needs. After the job was done they cleaned up and it was as if they were never there which I also appreciated.

Quick and efficient work on a leak in our water system, and he was very careful to identify the exact location before the minimal demo. Had another issue later he came and diagnosed for us at no charge, then recommended the right person for that type of job. Highly recommend, super nice dude!

A call was made into Falls Plumbing when we realized our boiler was not heating in all the areas. Since we live 60 miles out, I was pleasantly surprised when Mike immediately came out. He was professional, friendly and positive in his service. Within a couple hours our boiler was heating and an upgraded unit was ordered. There was just a small adjustment needed, and we got a personal call with his advice.

These guys did the plumbing install on a new home I purchased less than 2 years ago. Started having some minor issues, staff was unresponsive and rude to my wife when she tried to get them to come take a look. I tried again later, after the problems continued to get worse, they wouldn't call me back and wouldn't even discuss the issues over the phone. Second rate work, and no pride or care about a quality end product.

Called with a pipe that had broke in our basement and they couldn't get out until the next day. They had a cancellation a hour later and called back and came right away! Took maybe 40 min. Wonderful costumer service in such a stressful time. Thank you!

Verify Availability Before You Call

Professional Drain Cleaning in Great Falls, Montana

When a sink backs up or a floor drain overflows in the Electric City, you don't have time to call a dozen different shops hoping someone is on duty. Whether you're near the Giant Springs State Park area or living in a historic home closer to downtown, Great Falls' unique geography and older infrastructure can lead to unexpected plumbing headaches. Our service simplifies the process by scanning our network of local professionals to find someone ready to work right now.

We take the guesswork out of home maintenance by specifically filtering our network based on your Great Falls zip code. We don't just give you a list; we call ahead to ensure a technician is actually available to solve your drain issue today. This means less time stressing about a mess and more time enjoying the views of the Missouri River while we handle the logistics of your repair.

Common Drain Issues in Great Falls, Montana

Hard Water Buildup: Great Falls residents often deal with significant mineral deposits. This "hard water" creates scale inside pipes, catching hair and grease more easily than smooth pipes, leading to chronic slow drains.

Aging Infrastructure: Many neighborhoods in Great Falls feature older clay or cast-iron pipes. Over decades, these pipes can shift, corrode, or develop "bellies" that collect debris and cause frequent backups.

Root Intrusion: With our beautiful local trees, root systems are a common culprit for main sewer line clogs. Roots seek out the moisture in your pipes, especially in older residential areas, causing stubborn blockages that require professional rooter service.

Kitchen Grease and Disposal Issues: With our cold Montana winters, grease poured down the drain solidifies much faster in the pipes. This leads to heavy "fatbergs" that can completely shut down a kitchen sink during the height of the holiday cooking season.

Seasonal Drain Maintenance Tips for Great Falls, Montana

Winter Pipe Prep: Before the Montana deep freeze hits Great Falls, ensure all outdoor hoses are disconnected and check that your basement floor drains are clear of debris to prevent backup if pipes do freeze and thaw.

Spring Runoff Awareness: As the snow melts into the Missouri River basin, the rising water table can put pressure on your sewer lines. Have your main line inspected if you notice gurgling sounds in your lower-level drains during the spring thaw.

Summer Root Maintenance: Late summer is the peak growing season for trees. If you have large cottonwoods or elms on your property, consider a preventative hydro-jetting service to clear out thirsty roots before they cause a total blockage.

Fall Leaf Management: Ensure your outdoor area drains and gutters are clear of falling leaves. Blocked exterior drains can lead to localized flooding around your foundation during those heavy autumn rainstorms.

Average Drain Cleaning Costs in Great Falls, Montana

$175-$425

Pricing in Great Falls typically depends on the severity of the clog and the equipment required (e.g., a simple snake vs. hydro-jetting). Emergency after-hours calls or main sewer line access may increase the total cost.

Frequently Asked Questions about Drain Cleaning in Great Falls, Montana

How quickly can I get a plumber in Great Falls?

By using our zip-code filtering, we find the closest available pro to your neighborhood. In many cases, we can verify a technician who can arrive at your Great Falls home the same day you call.

Do you service areas near Malmstrom AFB?

Yes, our network covers all Great Falls zip codes, including the residential areas surrounding the Air Force Base, Black Eagle, and the outlying suburban areas.

Is hydro-jetting necessary for Great Falls homes?

For homes with heavy mineral scale or recurring root issues common in North-Central Montana, hydro-jetting is often the most cost-effective long-term solution compared to a standard drain snake.

What is the most common cause of clogs in Great Falls?

Aside from standard hair and grease, the high mineral content in our local water leads to significant scale buildup, which is a major contributor to localized clogs in older Great Falls plumbing.

Are the plumbers in your network licensed in Montana?

Absolutely. We only scan and verify certified, professional plumbers who are fully licensed and familiar with Great Falls building codes and regional plumbing requirements.
