(763) 200-4316Brad from Guy’s sewer and drain did an excellent job cleaning out my main sewer line. He is friendly, courteous, and professional. He left my home cleaner than when he found it. Given The thorough job he did. I was pleasantly surprised at the affordable price. I highly recommend Guys sewer and drain.
3 months agoVery prompt response time when we had a clogged kitchen drain. Very friendly and professional! This is our second time calling them, and we will definitely keep them on our call list for future issues!
3 months agoSuper fast and effective response to clogged drain at our offices. This is the second time we have used their services and, although we hope never to have another clog, we will definitely call them again if we are so unlucky!
3 months agoJohn's Sewer & Drain Cleaning, Inc.
877 3rd St SW #4, New Brighton, MN 55112, USA
(612) 756-7394Chachi saved the day!! We had a slow tub drain due to a toy getting lodged. Another well known plumbing company shared pipe would need cut and replaced. Their quote was a few thousand dollars. John’s Sewer came and looked. A few hundred dollars later, toy easily retrieved and pipes descaled too. Did I mention the professionalism of the office and Chachi? The integrity of this company is evident through clear communication and skilled personnel. I can’t say enough good things about this experience.
3 months agoWarning! DO NOT hire!! We had our lines cleaned out and when he finished up, John said to us they do not warranty their service. So then, 3 days later we had a back up again!! I called the office and asked if they could tell us how far they went in, and I was told they went in 15 feet! what a joke. Also John said he needs to come back on another day to replace the seal for our toilet. You would think they would carry extra seals with them. A return trip would cost an extra $100.00! The poorly drain cleaning cost us was $450.00. Dear readers of this review, don't say you have not been warned! This whole mess makes me sick to my stomach!!!
2 months agoWe have had great experiences with John’s sewer and drain cleaning. Quick response, honest service, and they get the job done right the first time. Highly recommend them!
4 months agoViking Sewer & Drain Cleaning
23005 137th Ave N, Rogers, MN 55374, USA
(763) 428-2195Spencer and his dad were great! We had to call them twice within a month and both times they were at our house very quickly and their pricing was very reasonable. if you need any drain work done I highly recommend using this company.
7 months agoThis is a great company! Please use them. I can't thank Viking Sewer and Drain enough. We had a clog in our main line, the whole house was backed up. I spent a lot of time and money trying to clear the clog on my own to no avail. Spencer came out and in about an hour had us unclogged. He even took the next step to make sure the entire drain line was clear. Really above and beyond. They are truly good at what they do, understanding and compassionate and an Incredible value. I will be recommending them to everyone I know for preventative maintenance and clog removal.
8 months agoThey came out right away. Very fast and courteous sevice. I highly recommend them for your drain cleaning needs.
2 months agoOne Hour Rooter Plumbing Drain Cleaning Sewer Repair
5701 International Pkwy, New Hope, MN 55428, USA
(651) 217-8013Horrible service, overcharged, and then the refund check bounced. Easily the worst experience l've ever had with an in-home repair company. The job was a slow floor drain in the basement, which led to replacing the pipe it led to. Ultimately, the work got done and the technicians were good. But communication with the manager I worked with, who scheduled everything, was terrible. His initial diagnosis of the problem proved to be wrong. I didn’t hear anything for days after being promised a call, and was then told I was already on the calendar for a date that I wouldn't even be home for. Calling the main office was of no help because they apparently don't know what the manager is up to. Having to pay up front - before work was even done - really left me in a bind after the wrong work was initially done. The manager's first response to me asking for an accurate price was to extend the warranty instead. We eventually agreed on a price, only for me to have to ask four times to get the refund I was promised. When I finally got the check, it bounced! To their credit, One Hour Rooter did issue another check with the bounced check charge. I’m glad I switched to communicating with this manager by text message only so I had everything in writing. Horrible experience. Dec 2021 - Feb 2022.
1 year ago** Do not recommend using this company if you have options ** We found a hole caused by a nail on one of the drains , I was told by them that this pipe need be cleaned inside and replaced, it cannot just be simply wrapped outside of the leak because “it does not work that way “. I was quoted over $700 . And the crew member have to come back to fix it the next day. The next day , crew member showed up , fixed the leaking within 5 minutes by wrapping the leakage ! Even worse , I called back with this overpriced misleading invoice . I was told they would refund me $200 which I never received. Just wanna say , it was too dumb and too naive of me to get into this and even thinking they would worth my time to deal with them afterward. Of course I did not get anything from them after the money in their pocket. I would give them that they fixed my problem and responded fairly quick when I first called which I gave them 2 stars . Otherwise , the whole experience was very negative and made me feel terrible.
1 year agoWe called them on Saturday night for a clogged toilet. The customer service agents were kind and Becky who coordinated our service was incredible. Our Technician was Devin Durfee, and he did a phenomenal job addressing the issues. He was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Highly recommend this company and individual.
2 years ago1-Tom-Plumber
1523 94th Ln NE A, Blaine, MN 55449, USA
(763) 200-8823Tony M. Checked my drain pipe from kitchen sink and did a Fantastic job!!!! He was well organized and friendly. Tony inspected the pipes with an awesome camera and was able to give me an estimate and several options. A week later I had my entire kitchen sink drain replaced and it made such a huge difference!!!! All the guys were very professional and I highly recommend 1-Tom-Plumber!!! Thank you so much for your help!!!!!
3 months agoSeth and Tony came out to address concerns I had with my washer leaking and my bathtub not draining properly. They performed diagnostic testing to identify the issues and took the time to explain everything clearly in a way I could understand. They replaced my washer drain hose .They were very professional, patient, and kind, especially since I don’t have much plumbing knowledge. I truly appreciated their thoroughness and honesty. I would definitely recommend them and would gladly use their services again
4 months agoOur basement had pretty bad water and and sewage backup damage. I was thinking worst case scenarios. I spoke to Luke who was very informative and kind. Tony came right on time. He did an inspection and it was clear he was confident in his analysis of the damage. He was more than competent with a big clean-up. He was a sleuth and discovered the damage that was visible uncovered a bigger hidden problem. Tony was able to pivot and offered choices about clean-up and ultimate bathroom tear out. He is an honest guy. His customer service skills put our minds at ease. It is clear to me he is trustworthy and knowledgeable. He hit it off with our pup, Harper, too!
5 months agoGopher Sewer and Drain
6319 Hwy 65 NE, Fridley, MN 55432, USA
(612) 205-2306I am writing to highly recommend Gopher Sewer and Drain. While remodeling my basement bathroom, I accidentally broke a copper pipe. I spoke with the lovely receptionist, who was wonderful and scheduled service technicians to arrive the very next day. Eduardo and Julian arrived within the provided time window. In addition to fixing the broken pipe, I requested assistance with rerouting the plumbing for a new bathtub. They provided an instant estimate and completed all the work the same day. I am very impressed with their service and highly recommend their team.
4 months agoI recommend Gopher Sewer and Drain because we referred to them by Menards. We selected Gopher Sewer and Drain because they are accredited by the Better Business Bureau of MN. They responded to my email the next day, gave us a free estimate over the phone and had a plumber come to our house that same day to check to see if the the toilets we had selected online at Menards would fit our bathroom spaces. We had our plumber/sales associate pick up and deliver our toilets so they could be delivered inside our house which was not offered by Menards. Our plumber/sales associate was enthusiastic, knowledgeable and experienced in installing toilets. Our plumber worked diligently to build our trust and confidence in his ability to help us reach our goal of having two new toilets installed. I would recommend Gopher Sewer and Drain to a friend.
3 months agoThankful for Ceaser and Gopher Sewer and Drain! I called over 11 plumbing companies to help us with an emergency sewer backup this afternoon, they were the only ones that said they could be here by 5 pm. He was at 1:45 and completed within 2 hours! They were early, professional and affordable! Thank you so much! Highly recommend!
3 months agoPaul Bunyan Plumbing & Drains
5718 International Pkwy, New Hope, MN 55428, USA
(612) 340-1444I needed to move the laundry drain in my basement, but the drain pipes were a Rube Goldberg situation. Laynee was able to quickly diagnose and provide a range of options. In the end it was easiest to replace the washtub. Having recently bought a 100 year old home I have had them out 3 or 4 times and they have always kept me informed of what does and does not need to be done based on any issues I am having. My go to plumbers.
3 months agoDave Brown was literally the best plumber I’ve worked with! We hired Paul Bunyan Plumbing to install a new toilet and we had a weird rough-in size that wasn’t standard. We had ordered the wrong size toilet that had a skirt and he advised me of the potential issues and extra cost associated with that kind of toilet. He not only helped me carry the 120 lb. toilet back into my car, but waited for me to go to home depot TWICE after we found out the second toilet was broken. He also disposed of our old toilet (and the box), replaced the gross flange and the crappy plastic water service line with something that was more durable. He also informed me that they have a year warranty on labor. It’s always so refreshing when you get a service provider that’s not only honest, but also who helps you find the right solution for you. As a result, I saved roughly $650 and a whole lot of headaches. PLUS, he was super friendly to work with. 10/10 would recommend!
7 months agoJordan, the technician that came out to help resolve our plumbing issue, was wonderful to work with. Knowledgeable, gave us multiple options, up front with estimates and completed the work we needed done quickly and neatly. Super great guy. Very impressed with his customer service as well as his trade knowledge. I definitely recommend and will use again if the need arises!
3 months agoTrioz Minneapolis Plumbers & Drain Clean Co.
2552 Nicollet Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55404, USA
(612) 464-6667Laundry sink drained very slowly. Their plumber removed buildup deep in the drain line. Water now flows freely. The line was inspected thoroughly. I feel confident the problem is resolved.
3 months agoOur kitchen plumbing needed adjustment after cabinet work. Their team realigned the pipes and secured the fittings. Everything fits neatly now. Very professional service.
3 months agoThe bathtub faucet was difficult to turn and leaking slightly. I reached out to their plumbing crew. They inspected the internal mechanism and found worn parts. After replacement, it worked like new. Great service experience.
3 months agoGenz-Ryan Heating, Cooling, Plumbing, & Electrical

(763) 250-5110We had a great experience with Genz-Ryan’s plumbing and heating! I scheduled on their website, and the tech 'Turbo' was incredibly helpful from start to finish. He explained everything clearly, answered our questions, and made the whole process stress-free. Professional, friendly, and done right! Highly recommend!

8633 Jefferson Hwy, Maple Grove, MN 55369, USA
(763) 425-9461Wow! Super impressed with TJK. Our friend Nate is a plumber and had referred us to them bc it was an emergency and he was booked. Kyle came out and immediately found the leak. He was honest, friendly, knowledgeable and thorough. He even took time to show me the issue and explain the problem. He even went above and beyond to test our water softener after he discovered our water is hard bc it hadn't been working properly. Even though circumstances were not ideal with a pipe that had burst, Kyle made the process easy. I highly recommend TJK based off our positive experience with them!
3 months agoMy wife and I have been loyal customers of TJK Plumbing for many years, and experiences like this are precisely why. Yesterday, a hose on our kitchen sink sprayer broke, soaking both of us unexpectedly. TJK Plumbing was able to come out first thing the very next morning. Not only did they quickly repair the faucet issue, but they also noticed that our water heater was leaking. They were able to replace it with a new water heater that carries a 12-year warranty, which made us very happy. I mentioned that I had been unhappy with the shower head in our upstairs bathroom. Without hesitation, they replaced it at no cost for parts or labor. This isn't the first time TJK Plumbing has gone above and beyond for us, and it's one of the many reasons we truly value working with this company. They are consistently professional, punctual, courteous, and always leave the work area clean. Josh and Dan, my hat's off to both of you for your outstanding service today. I wouldn't consider using any other company than TJK Plumbing. Thank you, Jeff and Heidi
5 months agoJosh was pleasant and went right to work, at finding the problem. He was very professional and efficient in his work and very informative throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a plumber. I will recommend TJK plumbing and Josh to all my family and friends. Five star all around Josh!

Common Drain Issues in Coon Rapids, Minnesota
Hard Water Mineral Scale: Like much of the North Metro, Coon Rapids residents often deal with high mineral content in their water. Over time, calcium and magnesium can build up inside your pipes, narrowing the passage and making it easier for hair and soap scum to cause frequent, stubborn clogs.
Tree Root Intrusion: Many established neighborhoods in Coon Rapids are known for their beautiful, mature trees. Unfortunately, those roots are drawn to the moisture in your sewer lines. Infiltrating roots can cause slow drains throughout the house and eventually lead to a complete sewage backup if not professionally cleared.
Aging Infrastructure: In the older homes near the Mississippi River, cast iron or clay pipes are common. These materials are prone to corrosion and internal scaling, which can snag debris. These systems require specialized cleaning techniques to avoid damaging the integrity of the aging pipes.
Kitchen Grease Solidification: With our cold Minnesota winters, grease poured down a kitchen sink solidifies much faster as it hits the cold sections of your plumbing. This creates 'fatbergs' that can completely seal off a drain line, requiring professional high-pressure jetting to restore flow.
Seasonal Drain Maintenance Tips for Coon Rapids, Minnesota
Spring Thaw Prep: As the snow melts near your Coon Rapids home, ensure your floor drains and sump pump discharge lines are clear of debris. Sudden runoff can overwhelm your system if these exit points are blocked.
Fall Leaf Maintenance: Before the first freeze, ensure all outdoor drains and gutters are clear. Organic matter that enters your drainage system in the fall can freeze solid over the winter, leading to burst pipes or basement flooding during a mid-winter thaw.
Winter Grease Awareness: During the holiday season, never pour fats or oils down the drain. In the sub-zero MN temperatures, these substances harden almost instantly once they leave the heated footprint of your home, causing immediate blockages.
Summer Humidity Check: Keep an eye on your basement floor drains during humid Coon Rapids summers. If you notice a 'sewer gas' smell, the P-trap may have dried out. Pouring a bucket of water down the drain can restore the seal and keep your home smelling fresh.
Average Drain Cleaning Costs in Coon Rapids, Minnesota
Standard drain cleaning in Coon Rapids typically ranges from $175 to $475. Pricing depends on the severity of the clog, the equipment required (like hydro-jetting vs. a standard snake), and whether the service is performed during standard business hours or as a midnight emergency call.
