My wife and I have been loyal customers of TJK Plumbing for many years, and experiences like this are precisely why. Yesterday, a hose on our kitchen sink sprayer broke, soaking both of us unexpectedly. TJK Plumbing was able to come out first thing the very next morning. Not only did they quickly repair the faucet issue, but they also noticed that our water heater was leaking. They were able to replace it with a new water heater that carries a 12-year warranty, which made us very happy. I mentioned that I had been unhappy with the shower head in our upstairs bathroom. Without hesitation, they replaced it at no cost for parts or labor. This isn't the first time TJK Plumbing has gone above and beyond for us, and it's one of the many reasons we truly value working with this company. John's is the best! My 85' main line was backed up. I first went with a big company (starts with a "B", ends with "Fe") who failed to snake my line and wanted to charge $3000 for additional work. I called John's the next day and I had techs working in my home within 3 hours. Their boss even stopped by to drop off a camera and spent over an hour answering my questions and providing resources. Not only were they able to clear my line quickly but they also did so at a fraction of the competition's price. More than anything, it is clear that this company cares about transparency, integrity, and fair pricing. Everyone I interacted with (shoutout to Eddie, Zach, and Mike) ensured I was well equipped to take care of my home sewer drain in the long-term which provided me with extra peace of mind. I'm so glad friends recommended this company to me and I would easily recommend John's to anyone else.

Warning! DO NOT hire!! We had our lines cleaned out and when he finished up, John said to us they do not warranty their service. So then, 3 days later we had a back up again!! I called the office and asked if they could tell us how far they went in, and I was told they went in 15 feet! what a joke. Also John said he needs to come back on another day to replace the seal for our toilet. You would think they would carry extra seals with them. A return trip would cost an extra $100.00! The poorly drain cleaning cost us was $450.00. Dear readers of this review, don't say you have not been warned! This whole mess makes me sick to my stomach!!!

Spencer and his dad were great! We had to call them twice within a month and both times they were at our house very quickly and their pricing was very reasonable. if you need any drain work done I highly recommend using this company.

This is a great company! Please use them. I can't thank Viking Sewer and Drain enough. We had a clog in our main line, the whole house was backed up. I spent a lot of time and money trying to clear the clog on my own to no avail. Spencer came out and in about an hour had us unclogged. He even took the next step to make sure the entire drain line was clear. Really above and beyond. They are truly good at what they do, understanding and compassionate and an Incredible value. I will be recommending them to everyone I know for preventative maintenance and clog removal.

I am writing to highly recommend Gopher Sewer and Drain. While remodeling my basement bathroom, I accidentally broke a copper pipe. I spoke with the lovely receptionist, who was wonderful and scheduled service technicians to arrive the very next day. Eduardo and Julian arrived within the provided time window. In addition to fixing the broken pipe, I requested assistance with rerouting the plumbing for a new bathtub. They provided an instant estimate and completed all the work the same day. I am very impressed with their service and highly recommend their team.

My experience today with Gopher S & D was excellent. Myra in reception was polite and efficient and I was scheduled in promptly. Ben assessed my drain issues, answered my questions thoroughly and worked efficiently. I will gladly call Gopher when I need service again.

Good communication before, during and after the project ….. clearing a slow kitchen sink drain. The experience was like dealing with a family friend; with good advice the ongoing maintenance we can do ourselves. I’d definitely suggest Gopher Sewer and Drain for plumbing needs.

Horrible service, overcharged, and then the refund check bounced. Easily the worst experience l've ever had with an in-home repair company. The job was a slow floor drain in the basement, which led to replacing the pipe it led to. Ultimately, the work got done and the technicians were good. But communication with the manager I worked with, who scheduled everything, was terrible. His initial diagnosis of the problem proved to be wrong. I didn’t hear anything for days after being promised a call, and was then told I was already on the calendar for a date that I wouldn't even be home for. Calling the main office was of no help because they apparently don't know what the manager is up to. Having to pay up front - before work was even done - really left me in a bind after the wrong work was initially done. The manager's first response to me asking for an accurate price was to extend the warranty instead. We eventually agreed on a price, only for me to have to ask four times to get the refund I was promised. When I finally got the check, it bounced! To their credit, One Hour Rooter did issue another check with the bounced check charge. I’m glad I switched to communicating with this manager by text message only so I had everything in writing. Horrible experience. Dec 2021 - Feb 2022.

We called them on Saturday night for a clogged toilet. The customer service agents were kind and Becky who coordinated our service was incredible. Our Technician was Devin Durfee, and he did a phenomenal job addressing the issues. He was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Highly recommend this company and individual.

I was having issues with my toilet flushing and was able to quickly get on the schedule for One Hour Rooter. Sean, my technician, was on time, friendly, and worked on the issue until it was sorted out. He was also patient with me and worked independently while I was on work meetings, too, which I really appreciate. It was $99 for him to look at the toilet, try to clear any clogs, and make some adjustments in the tank, which got the flushing working again. I don’t know if that’s a normal price since this is (fortunately) my first time needing to hire a plumber, but it seemed like good value to me. Would definitely recommend!

Seth and Tony came out to address concerns I had with my washer leaking and my bathtub not draining properly. They performed diagnostic testing to identify the issues and took the time to explain everything clearly in a way I could understand.They replaced my washer drain hose .They were very professional, patient, and kind, especially since I don’t have much plumbing knowledge. My water service feed broke at 90 in my basement on Friday memorial weekend. Jared was able to come out and fix it that night even though he was still working on a job when I called. I manage a portfolio of apartment properties, so I’ve worked with a lot of plumbers over the years. Chris Wynn at Paul Bunyan is one of the best I’ve come across. I brought him in for a full basement finishing project at my home — and the scope was significant. Completely unfinished basement to rough-in ready in under a week. That included relocating and replacing the water heater into a new room (a genuinely complex job — Paul Bunyan sent out a full crew to get it done right), plumbing a new bathroom from scratch, installing a floor drain near the HVAC, plumbing a washer and dryer, and relocating shutoff valves. A lot of trades have to sequence properly on a project like this, and Chris kept everything moving. What made it work was his communication. He coordinated around my schedule throughout, stayed reachable by text when questions came up mid-project, and always had a straight answer. No callbacks, no surprises — just solid execution from start to finish. That’s what I look for, and that’s what I got. I’ll be using Chris and Paul Bunyan on future projects, both at home and professionally. Easy recommendation.

We had an outstanding, comprehensive experience with Paul Bunyan Plumbing & Drains. Our need started with a leaking water heater, and when I called to ask about a tankless option, they scheduled a visit for the very next day. Tom arrived promptly and spent over two hours thoroughly assessing both the interior and exterior of our 120-year-old home. The basement plumbing was old and complex, but Tom took the time to fully understand it and clearly explain everything to us. His expertise with older homes immediately stood out and gave us confidence we had chosen the right company. He presented multiple options at different price points with zero pressure—his focus was simply on helping us find the best solution for our needs. We ultimately chose a larger project that included re-plumbing the basement back to the city meter, upgrading to a tankless water heater, and installing a whole-home water filtration system. Given the amount of aging galvanized steel in the basement, it made sense to address it now rather than face issues later. We also opted for filtration due to the high chlorine levels in Saint Paul water. After moving forward, Colton and Dmitri arrived the next morning and got to work right away. They were fantastic—completing the entire project in just a day and a half. They communicated clearly throughout, worked efficiently, and left everything clean when they finished. They even went above and beyond by fixing a few unrelated issues at no extra charge, including a leaky kitchen drain, a loose gas pipe, and some additional galvanized plumbing connected to the boiler. My wife and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Our basement plumbing is no longer a concern, the tankless water heater performs exceptionally well, the water quality has noticeably improved, and our water pressure is better than ever. We’re incredibly grateful for the professionalism and expertise of Tom, Colton, and Dmitri, and we highly recommend Paul Bunyan Plumbing & Drains for any plumbing needs.

I had a 20 year old kitchen faucet that was in desperate need of replacement. It was more of a task that I did not have either the tools or expertise to install new feed lines that also needed to be replaced. Serghei arrived at the appointed time and did an excellent job!! He was able to replace the feed lines and install the faucet I had purchased earlier believing it was a task that I could handle 😆😆 Highly recommend Paul Bunyan for your plumbing needs.

At first the snake didn’t work, turned out a little build up was the problem and he fixed it while teaching me about the issue and how to fix it in the future. I had a main line backup at 4:45pm on a Monday. Called this company and they came to my house in 15 minutes, and finished within an hour. Five stars. For comparison, another company in the area quoted $40 more and couldn't come for 24 hours. Glad I went with these guys!
