Anthony arrived quickly, cleared the line to stop the backup, and performed a camera inspection that showed our underground cast-iron pipes were broken and failing. He explained everything clearly and honestly. One of our biggest concerns came from friends and family who had similar issues — they told us their floors were cut open and that they had to move out for months. We also had other companies talk about lining the pipe as a temporary fix. Drain King Plumbing took a completely different approach. Instead of cutting floors or using a liner as a band-aid, they tunneled underneath the home and fully replaced the broken cast-iron pipes. They worked around our schedule and completed the pipe replacement while we were at work. Im not big on writing reviews but had to call out the awesome job Steven and the Drain King Plumbing team did! I was dealing with failing cast iron and orangeburg pipes that caused overflow issues in my home in Oakland Park. I initially had another company come out to camera scope the lines. They not only charged a hefty price but provided sub par video quality and diagnostic assesment( i.e.- their assesment later proved to be wrong). I found Drain King Plumbing online and after reading all their positive reviews, reached out for a second opinion. Casey came out and scoped the lines, at no cost I might add, and sat with me for a good 45 mins reviewing the video in detail explaining what was likely causing the issues I was having. I eventually did proceed with the full cast iron pipe replacment to have peace of mind updating the whole system as there were multiple deteriorated holes and some dipping in the lines. Not going to lie, I was very anxious undertaking such a large project and the disruption/noise it likely was going to cause. I was pleasantly surprised the whole team went out of their way to make it as streamline as possible. The contract review and permit process was quick and efficient and they got to work right away. I was kept informed daily on progress( including detailed videos/photos). While we did encounter some unexpected conditions( tons of coral rock!) that did increase cost and tunnel excavation time required, Steven reassured me they would get it all resolved. I was also happy to see the quality of materials that were used to ensure longevity of the work performed. We are now about 2 weeks out from completion and I have had no further plumbing issues. They also went out of their way to fully clean up and leave my yard the way they found it( maybe even alittle better).. All in all, I am very happy with the work Steven and his crew performed! Everyone was very knowledgable and considerate throughout the whole process. I highly recommend them if you are dealing with a failing cast iron drain system!

This company is easy to work. In a short time, a major crack in our sewer pipe was repaired. My garden was not damaged and neither were the surrounding bushes. I was always kept up to date with what was going on. The employees have a great sense of courtesy and are always on time. They always texted me when they were coming. The bathroom was only for a short time. .

Jeff was fantastic. He was friendly and explained to us the different steps we could have taken to clear the clog. After a good effort, he was successful in eliminating the first step. He did a great job, even though it wasn't an easy clog. His service was excellent!

Gabriel came today. He could not have made a better impression. We got our spa tub in working order, and he discovered and fixed a small leak. Very personable and punctual. Honest pricing. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Only after I have been overcharged by a plumber will I call these guys.

Travis was great. He gave me suggestions and showed me how to fix the problem of calcium in my shower drain. He could also tighten the handle of a tap. I felt that the price was too high for the time spent. The price was determined by the company, and not by the repairman. Other companies may charge as much, but I will definitely compare prices before my next repair.

He checked the rest or our plumbing for problems that we may not be aware of. Very knowledgeable. Made some very useful suggestions for avoiding further plumbing problems. This was an excellent experience. My sink got backed up Christmas Eve. On Christmas Day I emailed our property manager and she gave me 4 Star Plumbing‘s phone number. She said there was someone on duty yesterday and they would make me an appointment for today. They indeed answered the phone and made me an appointment for this morning. They were in constant touch with me to let me know when Carlos my technician would be there. He was there in no time and he was so professional and did such a good job. He was so neat. He cleaned up everything. very courteous and he even fixed another little thing I asked him about and didn’t charge me. I say they did a top notch job, and kudos to Brenda for her timely responses.

Alvaro came out to check my propane gas line to my new mobile home and he was very knowledgeable and helpful! It’s my first mobile home purchase, and I wanted to be sure I was safe to use the propane plumbed to my place. He reassured me and made sure everything was in working order. This is an unsolicited review. I just want to acknowledge the great experience that I had with 4 Star Plumbing. From the initial communication with Alex who responded quickly to my inquiries and was able to give me an easy, reasonable quote by phone and scheduled a prompt appointment to the technicians. Cullen and his assistant showed up on time, came in and were very professional and got the job done without any fuss. They were very competent with installing my new hot water tank. I was very confident in the job they were doing. No scare tactics, no upselling, no price gouging or hidden fees. Quite the difference from the other handful of companies that I called who either never called me back or sent out technicians to oversell and came up with astronomical quotes. I highly recommend 4 Star Plumbing and will use them again in the future.

Had to get my home pipes jetted, and Jose and Manuel made it happen. I shopped around for pricing beforehand, and not only was their work excellent, but their customer service was just as impressive. Plumbing isn’t cheap, and repairs can feel daunting, especially in today’s economy, but they were upfront, reasonable, and didn’t overcharge or price gouge like I’ve experienced elsewhere. Jetting the pipes is an investment in the longevity of the home, and as new homeowners my best friend and I really appreciated how quickly and fairly they resolved the issue. It was gnarly to see what came through those pipes but so glad it’s out. Luis was very punctual when he came out to give me an estimate. I had a very small area underneath my stairs that house my water heater. He explained to me that 50 gallons comes in different sizes. So I decided to go with the medium 50 gallon. I asked him about the expansion unit that I saw at a friend‘s new house. He explained to me what it was for. And let me make my own decision on whether or not I wanted it. I decided to put it in because the new houses has had it and I figured it’s what the future will be. He and Andrea text before they were coming out the day of Service. They were a little early, however that’s OK. The installation was not a problem for them. Everything fit perfectly. They waited until I had hot water coming through. I would hire them again.

It was time for our annual irrigation and domestic backflow assembly testing for our building, and I contacted Luis Alvarado from Trust Rooter. I remembered Luis from last year because he was professional, punctual, and communicated clearly throughout the entire process. He explained what he would be doing, how long the testing would take, and followed up afterward to ensure he had all the correct information about our building so the results could be properly submitted to the city. He also confirmed that everything had passed and that the city would receive the necessary documentation. I look forward to working with Luis again next year. I’m extremely pleased with the service from John’s Plumbing. Carlos was my service tech and was thorough with my plumbing issues. I mistakenly drilled a hole in a copper pipe in my laundry room. Additionally, I found that the outside shut off valve was faulty. Anyone who has ever had a plumbing issue knows that you’re stressed until it’s resolved. Carlos came in; provided the quote, and repaired/replaced the required parts. My home is back; in order and fully operational. So happy I made the call!

I was very impressed with John’s plumbing and will definitely use them again. Glen came out to give me an estimate for a new water heater. He took the time to measure the space and check with his supplier to see if a new model would fit in my small closet. He didn’t try to upsell me and wasn’t pushy. His estimate was reasonable and I booked an installation day. Andres came out and installed the water heater on a Saturday and was very knowledgeable. He was also willing to work with me as I had to move things around in the closet to make the new water heater fit. All in all I would definitely recommends them.
