3 months agoService Pros Plumbers, Inc.
2950 Buskirk Ave Suite 300, Walnut Creek, CA 94597, USA
(925) 378-3500Seems workable in the end, but a little annoying that the sales person who showed up to spec the job clearly overpriced at $1100 for a faucet / hot water tap installation, which was fine since I thought maybe it correlates with excellent service. It does not: when dispatch followed up to schedule, I asked them to review the parts I had ordered, they said to email them, and I did. The plumber who showed up never even saw that email, and said that dispatch wasn't the right people to send it to. Well, that's who called me to schedule it and where they told me to send it. Then he did not have required 1/4 inch water tubing in his truck, nor the splitter he needed to connect the lines. He blamed me for unpacking the water heater and said it should have come with it. I don't recall it doing so, but OK, he had my wife order what he said he needed, scheduling his return visit before the item arrived. I noticed the discrepancy in Amazon and ordered the same water splitter with faster shipping. Splitter arrives, he shows up, still no 1/4 inch water tubing. He again, this time to my wife, blames me for not having the tubing that should have come in the box. Old story, but also it's been 4 days, why did he not tell us to order it? Why does he not have any in his giant truck? He said he had some but never used it and so threw it away. He has my wife order the tubing. It comes with splitters. He uses a tiny part of it, leaves a mess under the sink from all the extra drilling he does in the wall, and leaves us with a 90% of the tubing and 53 extra tube fittings. I can return one of them, but the rest are used. All in all, this would be fine if I paid a third the price, but if I'm paying $1100 for a faucet / hot water tap installation, I'm expecting it to be really quick and painless. Having the work reviewed by someone who is a little more trustworthy because the tight line looks like it might come off and looking further than Google reviews in my evaluation of home pros. Live and learn!
8 months agoJarue was our plumber from Service Pros Plumbers, Inc. He did a great job on installing our new Bidet toilet. He explained what issues he ran into with installing and gave us different alternatives to resolving the problem. While he was onsite we had him inspect our kitchen sink and he informed us what was needed to correct the issue and so that’s going to be our next project. We was very happy with the service provided by them.
6 months agoFinding a reliable plumber can be stressful, but I've found my trusted team in Emil and his crew. As a repeat customer (3 times now), I can attest to their consistently high-quality work. 8 months agoAlmighty Plumbing
1309 Mokelumne Dr, Antioch, CA 94531, USA
(925) 281-4861We had a backed up plumbing issue and Michael came out right away to access the issue. We’ve used this company once before and had nothing short of a great experience with them. All the workers were polite, respectful and cleaned up the job afterwards. Pricy but well worth the knowledge and they stand behind their work. Thank you for having great customer service.
5 months agoCalled Almighty Plumbing at 8 AM in full panic mode because our 10+ year old Whirlpool water heater would not relight. Michael answered, said he could be there at 9… and he was. He first tried to relight the pilot before recommending replacement, which I appreciated. Unfortunately the unit was just done. It was time. We moved forward with a new 50-gallon heater and the process was seamless. What really stood out was his communication. He texted when he was leaving for parts, when he was on his way back, and when the job was complete. I work remote, so that level of follow-through matters. He handled everything start to finish. Professional, knowledgeable, efficient, and zero pressure. Hot water restored. Stress gone. If you need a plumber, call Michael. It’s that simple.
3 months agoJavier did an excellent job installing our kitchen faucet and removing our osmosis tank system. He was very professional, arrived on time and just a genuine nice person. I highly recommend Almighy Plumbing. They will be my go to for all things plumbing from now on!

9 months agoCapelli Plumbing has been my go to for years. Recently, I needed a new garbage disposal and was having electrical problems with the old unit. James promptly scheduled the job for the next day even though it was not an emergency. Edward did an efficient job installing the unit. My house has older wiring issues and they had one of their members (Alex) come and help rewire the unit to fix the electrical issue. They were able to quickly purchase the needed parts and accomplish the job in under an hour. Great work, quick communication and friendly service!

7 months agoPlumbing Care Inc
2415 San Ramon Valley Blvd #4365, San Ramon, CA 94583, USA
(925) 255-6352Pablo was our technician & he found problematic areas on the hot & cold water valves under the sink as well as toilet wall valve. The valves were stiff & difficult to turn & showing rust & corrosion. Also Pablo showed me a crack in the old original pipe connecting the pea trap that could start leaking, so he changed it to a new plastic PVC pipe. Pablo is very conscientious, honest, knowledgeable, & communicated his professional opinion & experience whenever any problems arose or plans needed to change. Thank you Pablo for a job well done!
4 months agoWe had an excellent experience with this plumber. From start to finish, he was professional, punctual, and extremely knowledgeable. He quickly diagnosed the issue, explained the problem clearly, and completed the repair efficiently and neatly. What really stood out was his attention to detail and the pride he takes in his work. He left everything clean and made sure everything was functioning perfectly before leaving. It’s hard to find reliable, honest service these days, and this was truly a 5-star experience. Highly recommend to anyone needing plumbing work done right the first time.

6 months agoBig Brothers Plumbing Inc
2232 Santa Clara Ave Ste A, Alameda, CA 94501, USA
(510) 269-0299First of all, when I called big brother’s plumbing, an actual human being answered the phone, even though it was Friday evening. Then when angel arrived to fix what I thought was the P-trap under the bathroom sink, he nailed what the real problem was and tried his very best to fix it so that it would match the rest of the hardware. That was not possible, even though he tried several options. But he was pleasant and efficient and informative. He even made a few phone calls on my behalf really nice time as plumbing problems go I would recommend them. They are honest and on the case and humans answer the phone.
3 months agoThe first company we had called, the guy came and didn’t look properly and said we have to install a new one. Total being $6800 to replace the water heater which was way to expensive and big brothers plumbing charged less then $250. Big Brother Plumbing saved us so much money and time and did everything to fix it. Thank you so much and one of the nicest people we worked with, definitely recommend this.
3 months agoJesus Espinoza came to our apartment to fix faucet in the kitchen and he did an excellent job. We had issue with our faucet for few days. Now we are relieved and didn’t have to worry about the water leakage from our faucet anymore. Couldn’t ask for better plumber than Jesus Espinoza.

768 Stewart Ct, Alameda, CA 94501, USA
(510) 939-7870Harris Giotas, our Big Blue plumber, was incredible. He is a real credit to the industry. Not only was he able to replace our aging (and old) Glacier Bay fixtures without tearing out the entire wall, he discovered and repaired a unknown major leak under the toilette. We are truly indebted to Harris for his complete professionalism. He was prompt, efficient, and courteous. He is highly recommended for any plumbing problem or issue.
7 years agoEnrique Luevanos, Technician with Big Blue installed our new thermal expansion tank. He was very professional, thorough and respectful during their entire process. The end result was great professional service by again, another great technician with Big Blue.
3 years agoWhen our old hot water heater died and couldn’t be fixed, we called Big Blue. Javier V. was really helpful with explaining our options, and we decided to upgrade to a Sanco2 heat pump system instead of gas. Javier and Pardo were knowledgeable, kind and precise with the install, and navigated challenges like where to put the heat pump behind our house and ordering special parts. They also work with a great electrician and facilitated that work. The whole job was done in two days! They made sure we didn’t have to go a weekend without hot water. I highly recommend going with Big Blue and their expert staff.

Common Drain Issues in Walnut Creek, California
Mature Valley Oak Root Intrusion: Walnut Creek is famous for its stunning namesake trees and lush landscaping. Unfortunately, the aggressive root systems of these mature oaks frequently find their way into aging clay sewer pipes, causing recurring blockages that require professional hydro-jetting or rooter services.
Shifting Clay Soils: The geography of the East Bay hills means many Walnut Creek homes are built on expansive clay soil. This soil shifts significantly between the dry summer months and rainy winters, often leading to 'bellies' in drain lines or cracked pipes that trap debris and cause frequent backups.
Hard Water Scale Buildup: Like much of Contra Costa County, Walnut Creek can experience mineral-rich water. Over time, calcium and magnesium deposits build up inside your pipes, narrowing the passage and making it easier for soap scum and hair to create stubborn, deep-seated clogs.
Aging Infrastructure in Historic Neighborhoods: In older residential areas near downtown Walnut Creek, many homes still utilize original cast-iron or galvanized steel piping. These materials are prone to internal corrosion and scaling, which creates a rough surface that catches grease and waste, leading to slow drainage throughout the house.
Seasonal Drain Maintenance Tips for Walnut Creek, California
Prepare for the Rainy Season: Before the winter rains hit the East Bay, ensure your outdoor area drains and gutter downspouts are clear. Heavy Walnut Creek downpours can overwhelm clogged perimeter drains, leading to water backing up into your crawlspace or basement.
Holiday Grease Management: During the busy Walnut Creek hosting season in November and December, avoid pouring fats, oils, or grease down the kitchen sink. The cooler winter temperatures cause these substances to solidify quickly in your pipes, leading to emergency clogs during family gatherings.
Summer Root Maintenance: During the dry California summers, thirsty tree roots seek out the moisture inside your sewer lines. If you have large trees on your property near Larkey Park or Castle Rock, consider a preventative camera inspection in July to catch root intrusion before it causes a full blockage.
Post-Harvest Disposal Care: If you enjoy the local Walnut Creek farmers' markets, be careful with fibrous vegetable scraps like corn husks or artichoke leaves. These should go in your green organic waste bin rather than the garbage disposal to prevent thick, fibrous clogs.
Average Drain Cleaning Costs in Walnut Creek, California
Standard drain snaking in Walnut Creek typically ranges from $195 to $350. More intensive solutions like hydro-jetting or emergency after-hours services in the East Bay can range from $450 to $650+, depending on the depth of the blockage and the equipment required.
