Expert Drain Cleaning in Union City, CA

12/5/25 - Handy Man Plumbing helped me identify a clog in my sewer line with a thorough inspection. They gave me a competitive quote for installing a house clean out and cleaning the sewer line. The installation was done quickly and avoided messing up the yard. Highly recommended. 12/16/25 - Update. I decided to have Handy Man Plumbing replace my very old sewer lines under my house. Their quote was the most competitive. They kept our place clean during their work, sealing off our rooms from dust and covering the floors. They were very thorough, replacing all old GI pipes and even some old ABS pipes. While the scope of work was for "horizontal" pipe replacement, they did their best to replace as many "vertical" pipes that they could without opening any drywall (shower drains, toilet flanges). They also helped me repair some bad water supply pipes the noticed while doing their work. They didn't try to upsell me on trying to replace all my water supply lines, and with these repairs, said it should be good for a while. In all of this, they did not charge any additional fees for the extra work they did (i.e. needing to dig under two foundation walls, doing extra repairs, or needing an extra day of work). Highly recommended.

Mr Arturo Lopez was fantastic. He arrived on time with pre-arrival notification and tracking available. Arturo was knowledgeable, neat and efficient. He took the time to show me the repair and explain why it was needed. This was a two step process with technician Denis Orellana first diagnosing the issues and providing a quote. I called All Panthers Plumbing because of all the good reviews. I was not disappointed. I'm super relieved and happy with the work done by Cesar. He gave a reasonable price to fix our clogged kitchen sink and worked on it for hours until it cleared. I would definitely recommend him and will call him again for any future plumbing issues.

Cesar and his team did a great and clean job. They were able to come out the same day to provide me a quote and were able to schedule right away. I had some drainage issues because of some old cast iron plumbing I had and within a day they were able to replace the plumbing underneath my home and have it functioning like it should. Gustavo came to my house to fix an older model shower faucet that others told me couldn't be fixed & had to be entirely replaced, but Gustavo was able to repair it in a matter of minutes. Also he was attentive to a couple other leaks that he noticed and let me know about them, AND he helped me fix those and taught me how to maintain it in the future too. I had been wrapping all my threads with Teflon tape and he taught me better methods, when to use and when not to use the Teflon, etc. Great guy and great service. I learned a lot of things to do to care better for my house. Love that guy.

Alan came on time, introduced himself, and asked how he could help! After I explained the clogged drain line from the kitchen sink he asked to take a look. As he came inside the front door he put on cloth booties so as not to track in dirt or soil. And each time he went out he removed them and upon re- entering he put them back on! After looking he texted a job price and requested I approve the cost of repair, which I did. He brought in his tools and proceeded to promptly extract the material which was clogging the drain. He then made several tests to ensure adequate water flow down the drain, and to make sure the under the sink plumbing was not leaking. Success!!! Drain was flowing freely and no leaks were present. I was able to pay the agreed upon price by credit card on the spot and I immediately received an emailed receipt! Overall this was a very positive experience. I will not hesitate co use this service in the future if need arises!!!

Was referred to Peninsula Plumbing Solutions by a good friend of mine who just used them to fix her clog toilet on a Saturday. She was extremely impressed with them. Our garbage disposal stopped working so I call PPS on Tuesday afternoon sent them a video of my garbage disposal. Within minutes they had a quote for work to be done. They said someone could be out next day, what time would work best for me. Ernesto, Kevin, and Miguel helped to replace a portion of my main and lateral line after a blockage. They explained everything clearly as we went along and were patient with me while I made decisions about what we could commit to financially. They worked extremely fast and were communicative about timelines and inspections. They even came back out a month later to check on something I had noticed, but wound up not being a problem. Overall, super happy with our Rooter Solutions experience.

I just did a major sewer line repair all the way to city drop with Rooter Solution and found them very professional, communicated well and based on my understanding they did super good quality work. I found them bit expensive but I went ahead with them because I found out that they had all the right tools, people and know how and doesn't have to get other sub-contractor involved. Will go to them again if I need any sewer/plumbing work and highly recommend them.

Very honest and nice people! I called Jeff because we were having a clogged kitchen sink and the water backed out from our laundry room. He sent a guy pretty quick who is pretty cool and knowledgeable. The sink somehow started working before Herbert arrived but he still helped us to check out any potential issues, made sure all is good and gave us some advice as well. We will definitely call them again if we have any further plumbing problems.

We had an emergency plumbing issue late last night (bathroom shower overflowed and sewage material started coming up out of the drain and flooded into the hallway - yuck). I called Mr Rooter at 8:20 PM on a Sunday and they answered right away and dispatched a plumber who was wrapping up a job in the area. The plumber, Adrian, arrived within the hour and got to work right away and identified that the issue was the main drain pipe (likely damaged by tree roots). He was extremely thorough - he walked the entire perimeter of the house to identify all the drain entries, went under the house into the crawl space to identify the leaks, did a thorough flush to clear the blockage, and then even cleaned up the bathroom for me after. Super grateful for his service, I saved their number for future emergencies. Highly, highly recommend!

Waldir at ProRoto did a great job managing 2 big project for us- water main from house to sidewalk box, with back flow valve and replacing the last of our galvanized pipes and cast iron sewer line under the house. They worked so hard, did a beautiful job and left the work areas like new. They were great to work with. I had gotten estimates from 3 plumbing companies. I highly recommend them. Exceptional service and an exceptional team!!! I lost hot water pressure and right away I knew something was wrong with my water heater. Since it was Sunday I had to email a few places and one of them was Wizard plumbing. Monday morning I got a few responses but Wizard plumbing was the quickest of them all and could dispatch someone urgently. Kevin arrived and identified that the water heater was leaking and needed to be replaced, after answering my many questions and making calls around to find the model I wanted. Shortly after Dino arrived and the pair not only replaced the water heater but also fabricated a custom pan to adhere to the current drain that was in place. They also replaced the leaky hot water valve as well as an automatic shut off valve. Throughout the whole time, they were curious, attentive, and thorough. They got the job done wonderfully and quickly within a few hours; this was exceptionally important as we have little kids. As they say, you get what you pay for and with Wizard plumbing, you get every Penny's worth. Don't just look for the cheapest but look for quality and Dino and Kevin are a great example of why that is the case. Thank you very much. A rockstar team for sure.

Made an appointment three days prior, they took down all of my information and asked me a bunch of questions. The morning of the appointment, I get a text message saying they do not service my area and have to cancel. Why didn’t you tell me that three days ago when I made the appointment and gave you my address? Waste of time.

I’ve lived in a house that was built in 1947 for 10 years. So I’ve had more than a few plumbers come through for various issues during that time. A termite inspector found a leak, so I panic-called the first result on Yelp (I don’t usually do that). Wizard Plumbing came through, assessed the situation, and gave me a number of options, each with associated costs. Not one to mess around with plumbing, I went with the most extensive & labor intensive option (and I’m glad I did; see pix). Out of all the plumbers I’ve done business with over the years, Wizard Plumbing proved to be — by far — the most honest, fair, competent, experienced and thorough. In fact, if I made a Venn diagram with all of those attributes for each of the plumbers I’ve done business with, Wizard would be the only one that made a perfect circle. They’ve definitely made a customer for life.

Luis and team did an amazing job and got us out of an emergency where we had sewer back up. They came in on a short notice, identified the problem, found where the block was and worked through till ~9 pm to make sure that our washrooms start working, even though it started raining suddenly and kept raining while they were working. They were literally drenched till the end. Talk about work ethic!! Right from the start, the experience was amazing and professional. Luis patiently took multiple of my calls. He even did facetime and explained what a clean out looks like and helped me find if we have one already. From start to finish we could see that the team cares about the job, and is darn good at it.
