Had a pleasant experience with Geovanni of Team Rooter Venture Inc. of Simi Valley. We worked with this company a couple of years ago and called them first when we needed additional plumbing help. Team Rooter is a reputable company that has reasonable prices and guarantees their work. Our past plumber from them was no longer with their company but who they sent this time (Geovanni) was even better. He is punctual, polite, efficient, and very professional. You could tell he respected our home. Geovanni communicated very well and set expectations early on. Geovanni was able to change our water heater by himself. It was way over its life expectancy and time to go. Unfortunately, the old water heater drain was so blocked up with sediments (uhhh, we were not quite on top of our maintenance) that all of the water did not drain out even when Geovanni used his pump. I was impressed that he was able to carry it partially full of water over the safety bollard in our garage. At water heater installation, Geovanni did wonderful work re-piping the plastic drainage pipe and copper pressure release pipes. He did a better job than the original home builders who installed the first water heater. Geovanni's lines were cleaner, angles were better, and just more out of the way, without compromising access. Our other plumbing problem child (clogged drain) became more of an issue than expected. Geovanni used a camera to show us where the standing water was in our pipes and was able to figure out a solution. Basically, the home builders had pipes full of multiple turns and sharp angles in the walls instead of straight down. The poor drainage design and corrosion over time led to complete blockage. Thankfully, Geovanni (with the help of some of his Team Rooter co-workers) was able to pinpoint the problem areas, fix the improper pipe slope, and jet the main drain. Geovanni does work very cleanly. His drywall work was impressive. Geovanni was able to explain why there were draining problems and also how to prevent future ones (maintenance again). Overall, it took a couple of days but we feel great about the work done at our house. After watching Geovanni fix everything, you can tell he takes pride in his work and knows what he is doing. We definitely would recommend Team Rooter to anyone in the Ventura county. They are honest, hard working, and available 24/7. If you do call... request our favorite plumber Geovanni Penate.

Giovani was great! He was thorough with troubleshooting my issue on my toilet and it seemingly being plugged. His troubleshooting though pointed to a bad toilet not a main line plug-gage. He told me the service was free since he could not guarantee the line was the issue. His honesty was refreshing and I will call this company again for issues because of his honesty..You do not see this kind of honesty anywhere anymore, …. Incredible.

Ask for Geovanni Penate This is our second time working with Team Rooter Venture Inc in the Ventura, CA area. In 2024, we thoroughly researched and contacted multiple plumbers in the area.  This company was able to schedule service right away (even on the weekend).  They work 24/7 and can show up afterhours and holidays.  They also send confirmation texts for appointments, surveys, etc. and emails for invoice and home inspections should you choose.  Team Rooter had the best pricing for our clogged kitchen sink.  We were so pleased with the work they did that we called Team Rooter again in 2026 for a different plumbing problem.  I liked that they had complete records of the last time they were out.  *FYI, after the plumbing work is complete, they send out a report with a description of the scope of work done. This month, Geovanni was assigned to us and he is the best  - professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and more than capable. He is the type of plumber I would feel safe referring to my grandmother if she had a plumbing issue. Professional - I appreciated that Geovanni would call and give a 30 minutes heads up before he arrived and he's pretty punctual.  (Can't stand when other vendors or deliveries would give you a 4 hour window so you're stuck just waiting.)  He brought his tools and laptop to visually show up pricing breakdown and clearly explained our options. I want to know what we will be spending upfront. Courteous - Geovanni is so polite and well spoken.  He acknowledged my children and always wore shoe covers inside the house. He is meticulous and he would put things back if he moved them out of his way.  Some areas of our house were cleaner after he left than before he got there. Knowledgeable - Geovanni also answered all of our questions (and I had a bunch in the 5 days he was at our house).  He explained in a way we understood. If there was something he didn't know, he would figure it out.  And this is how we met Israel, who also works with Team Rooter.  I think it's great that the Simi Valley office works together to get the job done.  I felt very confident that our plumbing would be in order at a reasonable price by the time they left us. *We also got to meet the Jetter operator and Steven (manager I believe) from Team Rooter. Workmanship - Geovanni worked quickly and efficiently.  The plastic and copper pipes he redid look way better than they did before... instead of multiple right angles, he angled them to flow better and reduce a collection of water (which started our problem in the first place).  He also performed some drywall repair after replacing the pipes, and we were very impressed by his drywall work (he took the time to really match the existing walls on multiple floors in our house).  I am just thankful he was able to fix all of our water issues. If we have problems in the future, I would def call Team Rooter again.  We recommend Geovanni and Team Rooter to all of our friends, family, and neighbors. I believe they have offices to cover from Santa Barbara to San Diego.

We had a water heater blowout Monday morning. Kyle was here Monday morning to replace it and put in a period he put in a tankless water heater. Kyle was amazing how clean how professionally was with everything. Had a problem the next day and it turned out to not be anything that Kyle did it happen to be with a mixing valve in my front bathroom. My wife called his company and he came out personally. Wow I'm so grateful to you guys! I called Most Valuable Plumber this morning from work for a drain clog. Other plumbers were giving me dates far out and the woman on the phone was so kind and understanding and connected me with Mateo Velasquez. We called MVP plumbing company for their services. They did a tremendous work Adam Alvarez and his team did a fantastic job, finding the leak detection, pipe cleaning with hydrojet and did the pipe repair. Adam and Manny arrived on time and were very courteous and efficient. Adam was honest and had clear communication. They were respectful of our home, left the area clean, used drop cloths and plastic wrap to prevent the dust from going around the house. They went out of their way and cleaned the kitchen and under the sink. We were very happy with the with the results will definitely call them back again! If any issues arise. Tyler, the initial technician who responded to my contact, seemed to have solved the problem (or so I believed), but it turned out that the problem had been transferred elsewhere, and I then encountered issues. The best service you can get. Our water heater was a disaster. Poor plumbing and gas that was not in compliance with code. Gregory never lost his temper and was always patient. In the end, we got a compliant solution and we can relax knowing that it was done correctly. The way these people do business is amazing. You can expect quality work and honesty.

A plumber came to my home after I scheduled a service call for a toilet that was not working in my master bedroom. Henry, the technician, was a friendly man who enjoyed chatting. His training and experience made the task of fixing my toilet a piece of cake. In less than 15 minutes, my toilet was repaired. I only had the plumber at my home for a short time, but we had some wonderful conversations during that period. Bravo to NYC Plumbing's employees.

The upstairs Jack and Jill sink was clogged but we don’t have easy access to the pipe. Previously, I had tried another drain company but the quote was ridiculously high and they said they wouldn’t be able to reach the clog without installing a new access point. I called Bryco plumbing based off online reviews and they did not disappoint! Their technician Joseu was professional, courteous, and diagnosed the issue immediately. He removed the clogged pipe and showed me that it was full of sediment. He cleaned out all the gunk then reattached the pipe. When he turned on the sink, the water was draining…but a little slow- I honestly think another plumber would have said good enough and left. Joseu on the other hand, removed the pipe again and fished out a smaller second clog further down the line. I didn’t ask him to do this. He had pride in his work and wanted to do the job right.
