Had a pleasant experience with Geovanni of Team Rooter Venture Inc. of Simi Valley. We worked with this company a couple of years ago and called them first when we needed additional plumbing help. Team Rooter is a reputable company that has reasonable prices and guarantees their work. Our past plumber from them was no longer with their company but who they sent this time (Geovanni) was even better. He is punctual, polite, efficient, and very professional. You could tell he respected our home. Geovanni communicated very well and set expectations early on. Geovanni was able to change our water heater by himself. It was way over its life expectancy and time to go. Unfortunately, the old water heater drain was so blocked up with sediments (uhhh, we were not quite on top of our maintenance) that all of the water did not drain out even when Geovanni used his pump. I was impressed that he was able to carry it partially full of water over the safety bollard in our garage. At water heater installation, Geovanni did wonderful work re-piping the plastic drainage pipe and copper pressure release pipes. He did a better job than the original home builders who installed the first water heater. Geovanni's lines were cleaner, angles were better, and just more out of the way, without compromising access. Our other plumbing problem child (clogged drain) became more of an issue than expected. Geovanni used a camera to show us where the standing water was in our pipes and was able to figure out a solution. Basically, the home builders had pipes full of multiple turns and sharp angles in the walls instead of straight down. The poor drainage design and corrosion over time led to complete blockage. Thankfully, Geovanni (with the help of some of his Team Rooter co-workers) was able to pinpoint the problem areas, fix the improper pipe slope, and jet the main drain. Geovanni does work very cleanly. His drywall work was impressive. Geovanni was able to explain why there were draining problems and also how to prevent future ones (maintenance again). Overall, it took a couple of days but we feel great about the work done at our house. After watching Geovanni fix everything, you can tell he takes pride in his work and knows what he is doing. We definitely would recommend Team Rooter to anyone in the Ventura county. They are honest, hard working, and available 24/7. If you do call... request our favorite plumber Geovanni Penate.

Giovani was great! He was thorough with troubleshooting my issue on my toilet and it seemingly being plugged. His troubleshooting though pointed to a bad toilet not a main line plug-gage. He told me the service was free since he could not guarantee the line was the issue. His honesty was refreshing and I will call this company again for issues because of his honesty..You do not see this kind of honesty anywhere anymore, …. Incredible.

Ask for Geovanni Penate This is our second time working with Team Rooter Venture Inc in the Ventura, CA area. In 2024, we thoroughly researched and contacted multiple plumbers in the area.  This company was able to schedule service right away (even on the weekend).  They work 24/7 and can show up afterhours and holidays.  They also send confirmation texts for appointments, surveys, etc. and emails for invoice and home inspections should you choose.  Team Rooter had the best pricing for our clogged kitchen sink.  We were so pleased with the work they did that we called Team Rooter again in 2026 for a different plumbing problem.  I liked that they had complete records of the last time they were out.  *FYI, after the plumbing work is complete, they send out a report with a description of the scope of work done. This month, Geovanni was assigned to us and he is the best  - professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and more than capable. He is the type of plumber I would feel safe referring to my grandmother if she had a plumbing issue. Professional - I appreciated that Geovanni would call and give a 30 minutes heads up before he arrived and he's pretty punctual.  (Can't stand when other vendors or deliveries would give you a 4 hour window so you're stuck just waiting.)  He brought his tools and laptop to visually show up pricing breakdown and clearly explained our options. I want to know what we will be spending upfront. Courteous - Geovanni is so polite and well spoken.  He acknowledged my children and always wore shoe covers inside the house. He is meticulous and he would put things back if he moved them out of his way.  Some areas of our house were cleaner after he left than before he got there. Knowledgeable - Geovanni also answered all of our questions (and I had a bunch in the 5 days he was at our house).  He explained in a way we understood. If there was something he didn't know, he would figure it out.  And this is how we met Israel, who also works with Team Rooter.  I think it's great that the Simi Valley office works together to get the job done.  I felt very confident that our plumbing would be in order at a reasonable price by the time they left us. *We also got to meet the Jetter operator and Steven (manager I believe) from Team Rooter. Workmanship - Geovanni worked quickly and efficiently.  The plastic and copper pipes he redid look way better than they did before... instead of multiple right angles, he angled them to flow better and reduce a collection of water (which started our problem in the first place).  He also performed some drywall repair after replacing the pipes, and we were very impressed by his drywall work (he took the time to really match the existing walls on multiple floors in our house).  I am just thankful he was able to fix all of our water issues. If we have problems in the future, I would def call Team Rooter again.  We recommend Geovanni and Team Rooter to all of our friends, family, and neighbors. I believe they have offices to cover from Santa Barbara to San Diego.

Water heater failed and Kyle responded within hours and replaced it. A week before our 2 bathrooms were clogged up and he recommended a house flush. We can totally tell our pipes are cleaner and the water is draining quicker. The prices are fair. I appreciate the prompt response in the 2 calls.

Kyle replaced my water heater and connected my new sink in a timely manner. He answered all my questions and showed me how to use the new products. Kyle agreed to give me a discount when I told him the price was too high for my budget. He was very friendly and easy to talk to. I strongly recommend him.

We had a water heater blowout Monday morning. Kyle was here Monday morning to replace it and put in a period he put in a tankless water heater. Kyle was amazing how clean how professionally was with everything. Had a problem the next day and it turned out to not be anything that Kyle did it happen to be with a mixing valve in my front bathroom. My wife called his company and he came out personally. Replaced the mixing valve and fixed everything and it tuned up perfectly. I couldn’t be more ecstatic and more happy with the service and quality that we received from Kyle. Wow I'm so grateful to you guys! I called Most Valuable Plumber this morning from work for a drain clog. Other plumbers were giving me dates far out and the woman on the phone was so kind and understanding and connected me with Mateo Velasquez. Mateo came about 10-15 minutes after he called and was so kind, professional and efficient. He had the drain unclogged in like 10-15 minutes. Now I get to enjoy my whole weekend I appreciate you Mateo and am so so thankful!

We called MVP plumbing company for their services. They did a tremendous work Adam Alvarez and his team did a fantastic job, finding the leak detection, pipe cleaning with hydrojet and did the pipe repair. Adam and Manny arrived on time and were very courteous and efficient. Adam was honest and had clear communication. They were respectful of our home, left the area clean, used drop cloths and plastic wrap to prevent the dust from going around the house. They went out of their way and cleaned the kitchen and under the sink. We were very happy with the with the results will definitely call them back again! If any issues arise. Highly recommend for any major plumbing work. They were very hardworking and really appreciate their work and service.

I want to give a huge shoutout to Carlos from Sewer Brothers! I had another plumber come before him — he charged me $120 for five minutes and said everything was fixed. The next morning, the sink was still completely clogged. When I called him back, he basically told me he couldn’t do anything and that I should find someone else. Really disappointing. So I asked ChatGPT for help finding a real expert, and that’s how I found Carlos. He showed up right on time, worked hard, explained everything clearly, and fixed the problem the right way. Super professional and very polite. I even asked for his business card so I can recommend him to friends. Two thumbs up — thanks, Carlos!

Incredible Emergency Service & Top-Notch Work! I can't say enough good things about The Sewer Brothers, especially Carlos and his team. We had an unexpected emergency pipe burst and sewer backup—on a Sunday, no less—and while most companies either didn’t answer or wanted to charge outrageous fees just to show up, I was lucky to get their contact info from a friend. Carlos personally answered my call and, understanding the urgency, made an exception to come out that same day. He arrived quickly, fully equipped with advanced tools and technology, and resolved the sewer backup on the spot. While working, he also discovered that our old pipe had burst, leaving sewage spills in the crawl space—something we hadn’t even noticed. After living in our home for over 15 years, we decided to go ahead and replace the entire sewer system. Carlos gave us a very reasonable quote (far better than what others had estimated), and by the next day, he had a crew of five hardworking professionals out here, working nonstop for 14 hours to get everything done. He also went above and beyond by helping us deal with our insurance company—answering their questions promptly and professionally. We recently had extensive sewer and plumbing upgrades done in our home, and the Sewer Brothers were amazing! The upstairs Jack and Jill sink was clogged but we don’t have easy access to the pipe. Previously, I had tried another drain company but the quote was ridiculously high and they said they wouldn’t be able to reach the clog without installing a new access point. I called Bryco plumbing based off online reviews and they did not disappoint! Their technician Joseu was professional, courteous, and diagnosed the issue immediately. He removed the clogged pipe and showed me that it was full of sediment. He cleaned out all the gunk then reattached the pipe. When he turned on the sink, the water was draining…but a little slow- I honestly think another plumber would have said good enough and left. Joseu on the other hand, removed the pipe again and fished out a smaller second clog further down the line. I didn’t ask him to do this. He had pride in his work and wanted to do the job right. My experience with Bryce Plumbing has been amazing. Their technicians are very professional, knowledgeable, and really care about doing a good job. Mauro did an excellent job installing a smart water system and auto water regulator. He was very knowledgeable and helpful . He didn’t leave until he knew we were comfortable with our new water phone app which he installed and explained in great detail. Have used Bryco in past and highly recommend .

I recently installed a new vanity and sink in our guest bathroom. I hired a handyman from TaskRabbit who specialized in plumbing to install the faucet, mainly because our HVAC unit drains into the sink’s p-trap, and the existing drain pipe was a different size and very short. Unfortunately, I didn’t realize until weeks later that he had jimmy-rigged the attachment which created a slow leak. I only discovered it when I opened the vanity cabinet and found water pooling inside. That’s when I found Josh from Layout Plumbing on the Nextdoor app and I’m so glad I did. He had glowing reviews, and now I understand why. I contacted Josh on a Sunday morning, and he responded right away. He asked several questions, requested photos, and was able to diagnose the issue. He sent over a quote and showed up first thing Monday morning. Not only did he fix the leak properly, but he also noticed that the faucet handles had been installed incorrectly and he fixed that too, at no additional charge. Josh was prompt, professional, knowledgeable, and thorough. I highly recommend Layout Plumbing and will absolutely call Josh again for any future plumbing needs!

Josh is now my go-to residential plumber. I had a kitchen sink pipe leak behind my wall, which he diagnosed to be a corroded pipe. He replaced the pipe, as well as snaked the clog. Josh is honest, straightforward, and thorough with his estimates and work. His prices are extremely fair. Even after the job, I reached out to him with some questions, which he gladly answered for me. He’s honest and does great work, and I’m glad I found Josh!

Last night (12/9/25) at about 7pm, the hot water supply line that feeds into my hot water heater ruptured. It was spraying water everywhere and was drenching the drywall that surrounds the water heater. I texted Josh from Layout Plumbing and he responded within minutes. I sent him pictures of what was going on and he offered me three options. One, to come out that night and replace the supply lines. Two, to come out the next day during regular business hours to perform the work at normal business hour rates. Or three, to explain to me how to fix it myself, which I really appreciated. Knowing that I was not going to be able to fix the problem quickly on my own and would need to run to Home Depot to buy supplies, I opted for Josh to come last night. He was at my door in literally 20 minutes. Josh was professional, courteous, knowledgeable and personable. As he performed the work, he explained to me everything he was doing and gave me ideas on how to avoid issues like this in the future. I also expressed concerns that my water regulator might be going bad because I noticed water pressure issues in the house. Josh took the time to check the pressure, and sure enough, confirmed the regulator needs to be replaced. He again explained how I can perform the work myself, but I also asked him for a quote to do it. Thank you Josh. You are excellent at your trade and I will for sure be hiring you again.

This company was found online when I discovered a clogged tap in my new home. My contact was answered the next day (a big plus). Tyler, the initial technician who responded to my contact, seemed to have solved the problem (or so I believed), but it turned out that the problem had been transferred elsewhere, and I then encountered issues. After a follow-up call, they sent Anthony the technician. He was FANTASTIC. Anthony's friendliness was a topic of constant praise from my fiance. He claimed that Anthony looked like the character in NYC Plumbing advertisements. He solved the issue and explained why things may have gone wrong the first time. Anthony's professionalism and positive demeanor are what we appreciate most. When I spend my money with a firm, I try to find employees who are happy with their jobs. CUSTOMER SERVICE!

The best service you can get. Our water heater was a disaster. Poor plumbing and gas that was not in compliance with code. Gregory never lost his temper and was always patient. In the end, we got a compliant solution and we can relax knowing that it was done correctly. The way these people do business is amazing. You can expect quality work and honesty.

I would like to add my name to the long list of satisfied clients that NYC Plumbing has accumulated. They were very professional and I enjoyed our quick business encounter. A plumber came to my home after I scheduled a service call for a toilet that was not working in my master bedroom. Henry, the technician, was a friendly man who enjoyed chatting. His training and experience made the task of fixing my toilet a piece of cake. In less than 15 minutes, my toilet was repaired. I only had the plumber at my home for a short time, but we had some wonderful conversations during that period. Bravo to NYC Plumbing's employees.

I seldom write reviews, but the top-notch work that Drain Goats did left such an impression that I feel compelled to share about the experience. Our water heater failed over the Christmas holiday weekend, and Joe responded immediately, came out same day (late Saturday afternoon) and evaluated/troubleshooted the water heater. It was still under warranty, and he was able to source a shop that was open the following day, Sunday morning, to process the warranty and provide a new water heater. Joe and Alonzo were here at 9:00AM on Sunday, and did an amazing installation, everything to code. (When the water heater was installed previously a few years before, it didn't have an expansion tank, and was leveled by a section of 2x4 lumber on the ground... and it still wasn't level. In comparison Drain Goats installation is a well-engineered work of art.) I'm very particular about quality of service businesses provide, and Drain Goats checked every box... Super knowledgeable and professional, clean professional uniforms, pristine and well-organized work trucks, great communicators (everything explained very clearly), impeccable work (they are true craftsmen), and they genuinely care. I'll be contacting them for any future plumbing issues, and highly recommend them.

Alonzo and Joe were amazing. I had a slow drain that led to a sewer problem. A homeowners worse nightmare! This was going to be a huge job and they came out several times to explain the process and what to expect. They were very patient when answering my repeated questions. I was given a few options on the estimate and never felt pressure to pick the most expensive one. When the crew came to my house to the job they were on time, respectable of my property and cleaned up without a trace. I felt like I was in great hands!

Tip Top plumbing cares for the customer satisfaction. They deserve FIVE STARS! My Hydrojetting service was originally rushed and left incomplete, but Tip Top Pluming sent the crew back and Cesar and Lewis took the time the second time around and did a great job. Michael fixed my 88 year old mother’s very big plumbing break today. In pouring rain, he replaced a broken, poorly connected waterline with a simple strong design that includes a shut off valve. He made the repair and added value. He was kind, straightforward and diligent. At the end of the day he sat patiently and listened to her stories.
