3 months agoTeam Rooter Plumbing of San Diego
4888 Ronson Ct Unit A, San Diego, CA 92111, USA
(858) 252-3434Such a well run and reliable business! They are always communicative, prompt, helpful, honest, and well priced. I’ve called them for a couple different plumbing needs (mysterious leak under the kitchen sink, and clogged toilet), and have been super happy with their service every time. For the toilet clog, their price was $80 less than what others quoted me, which I really appreciated. Their availability is great too and they can always come out within 1-2 days. Shout out to Brian for helping us figure out the kitchen leak! It was not an easy one.
2 years agoUsed Team Rooter to install toilets, replace old cast iron drains and sewer line. The work wasn't cheap but worth it for quality and professionalism. Overall, we're pleased with the work and appreciate that they'll stand by it with warranty on installation and material. Thank you for doing an excellent job!

1 month agoASAP Drain Guys & Plumbing
12150 Dearborn Pl, Poway, CA 92064, USA
(760) 281-2008I strongly recommend ASAP Drain Guys & Plumbing, especially technician Mathew, for their outstanding service. I contacted ASAP yesterday afternoon after my tenant reported a toilet drainage issue. The company informed me that a technician would be on the way within two hours and confirmed that no emergency or urgency fee would be charged. (I had contacted several other plumbing companies before deciding on ASAP.) Mathew demonstrated excellent plumbing expertise and strong communication skills. Upon arrival, he quickly identified that tree roots were the primary cause of the blockage in the drainage line. He clearly explained the issue and provided several repair options. After 2–3 hours of dedicated work cutting and clearing the roots from the drainage system, the toilet was fully restored and flushing smoothly again. My tenant is extremely satisfied with the results. ASAP charged exactly as quoted — with no hidden fees or emergency charges — and even provided a $75 discount. I truly appreciate their professionalism, transparency, and quality workmanship, and I would highly recommend them to anyone. Here is comment received from Tenant. "The flushing process is better than any time we’ve been here. Definitely better than the last few years."
2 weeks agoThere has been a recurring main plumbing line problem that I have been dealing with for years... which ended up being a piece of 2" ABS in my 3" main line, likely from the previous owner and not disclosed when I purchased the home. Initially company "X" came out and gave me an estimate but said they could not guarantee their work. I waited and dealt with the problem on my own for years and finally had a friend refer me to ASAP. I could not be happier and super pleased to have 2 gentlemen Andrew & Angel do an excellent job on my property. Office staff was very thorough, communicative, and friendly. I would highly recommend to anyone... and of course they fixed the problem!

Eduardo arrived early on the day of my service call. He was very friendly, polite, and professional. Tested it all and I am highly satisfied that I made the right choice in calling the ASAP Drain Guys and was extremely fortunate that Eduardo was the professional assigned to my call. I am definitely making The ASAP Drain Guys my goto plumbing company and will be requesting Eduardo to be assigned to my call the next time i am in need of a professional plumber. I highly recommend this company and Eduardo. Great to be back with a new review. Have fun and keep the faith

1 month agoRemedy Rooter
208 Greenfield Dr suite k, El Cajon, CA 92020, USA
(619) 579-7979Remedy rooter is the best. I had my gas leak and drain pipe fixed by Juan and Aiden, they are the best. Juan came for a free estimate and he was very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. I communicated with Michelle, the coordinator for the company, and she is always friendly and responsive. Their price is very reasonable compared to a few other companies I quoted. I liked their fix of my gas leak so I decided to hire them to flush my tankless water heater too. Michelle scheduled for me quickly and the technician came at the scheduled time and got it done nicely. I will definitely use Remedy Rooter for my future plumbing projects.
4 months agoWe have used Remedy Rooter for many years. From toilet fixes to a HUGE job with our kitchen remodel in 2018. Our most recent job was replacing our water heater. Graham was able to get us on the schedule quickly which we appreciated because we had no hot water. Juan, the tech, was knowledgeable and professional. He came on time and left the area tidy when he was done. We have been happy and satisfied with every job RR has done for us.
1 week agoEli has helped our office twice now and both experiences have been so excellent! We had a leaking toilet and a spraying faucet and he got them fixed like it was no big deal. He’s extremely professional, works quickly, and gets the job done right the first time. Communication was easy, and everything was handled efficiently. 10/10 — highly recommend!

9 months agoElite Rooter Plumbers
3485 Pickwick St, San Diego, CA 92102, USA
(619) 626-1272I’m posting my message here since Elite Rooter management has refused to speak to me directly regarding my complaint. I called their answering service at least a dozen times and always got the runaround. Here’s the situation: We had major plumbing work done back in October 2025 to fix what we were told was a sagging sewer pipe. Mind you, what we called them in for was a toilet that was not flushing well. Their diagnostic suggested the problem was with the sewer pipe and not the toilet. They charged us ~$12K to excavate through the bathroom and bedroom floors to fix a “sagging sewer pipe”. My mistake for not supervising the project closely and getting a day to day run down on what was actually being done for this fix. Nonetheless, they finished the job, closed up the ground and poured cement to patch up the foundation. I asked the workers why the cement level in the work areas in both the bedroom and bathroom were not flush with the rest of the existing foundation. They told me, “oh, that’s alright, your flooring guys will take care of it”. I was rather naïve and was eager for them to finish the job since the work had dragged into a second week and didn’t question further. Aside from being negligent with restoring our foundation to its baseline, they did not even bother to re-install the toilet to see if our original problem of the toilet not flushing well was even addressed. Again, I should have been on this but one would expect a reputable business to do this walk through with the customer to show that the root issue was indeed resolved. The flooring contractor came in to re-install the floor. Sadly, communication was very poor with this contractor and they did not tell me they were charging me $2700 extra to sand down the foundation before they could re-install the laminate floor in the bedroom and tiles in the bathroom. I did not get the itemized bill until after they had completed the flooring job and re-installed my toilet. The floor was closed up, my son’s toilet is still not working, and I was stuck with paying an extra $2700. Elite Rooter refuses to refund me the $2700 and tells me that I should have notified them and they would have come back to sand down the foundation. My question is why didn’t their guys do it right in the first place? When the manager came to see the continued problem with the toilet, he said to me, after pouring a 5 gallon bucket of water through the toilet successfully, “oh, it’s your toilet, it probably needs to be replaced”. Again, why was this not evaluated at the outset or at the end, when they closed the foundation? I am posting this here with the hope that Elite Rooter “management” takes this complaint seriously and reaches out to me to resolve this issue since I don’t want to escalate this further. All I want at this point is for my son to be able to use his toilet again.
2 weeks agoI am very impressed with Elite. I (unfortunately) have had to use a lot of plumbers in san Diego which I never felt I was getting the whole picture and would end up spending a few dollars cheaper but be left to repeat the need for the service. DeAndre specifically was who showed up on my job and his clear diagnosis and cost estimate was spot on. He is very professional as well as a hard worker looking for ways to solve the issue. Not only do I recommend them I have already used them on another job. I absolutely recommend giving them a call due to their first concern is fixing the job right not just trying to get a quick job.
4 months agoI recently had the pleasure of hiring Elete Rooter Plumbing to install a new toilet in my home, and I couldn't be more impressed. The technician, Steven Johnson, who came out was absolutely excellent. From the moment he arrived, he was punctual, professional, and incredibly courteous. He walked me through the entire process, made sure I was comfortable with the choices, and executed the installation flawlessly. Not only was the work done efficiently, but he also left the area spotless afterward, which I really appreciated. Overall, it was just a fantastic experience from start to finish. I highly recommend Steve with Elite Rooter to anyone in need of plumbing services and will definitely be calling them again for any future needs.
5 months agoCore Plumbing
7292 Opportunity Rd b, San Diego, CA 92111, USA
(858) 295-7746I found Core Plumbing through Yelp because I had a kitchen sink leak issue that has been an issue on and off for months and has just gotten worse. Core Plumbing did a free estimate and I also appreciate the transparency. Kevin was very professional, friendly, and helpful! He explained what was wrong, what he was doing, and why, which I truly appreciate. They ended up fixing the water pressure (which was reading at 82 versus the 65 that it should be), replacing the air gap, the air admittance valve, and replaced the piping that was previously glued (so if there is blockage, we can easily remove and clear the pipe and put it back on). He also advised of additions that would be helpful, but did not try to oversell me, which I appreciate and have written down his recommendations. The work was done within the day and I couldn’t be happier, a bunch of stress off the shoulders - thank you, Kevin, and Core Plumbing! Would definitely recommend (pictures are before and after)!
5 months agoCore Plumbing was absolutely fantastic. They came out to replace two shower valves, and the entire experience—from scheduling to completion—was smooth, professional, and stress-free. The technicians arrived on time, respected my home, and communicated clearly about what they were doing and why. What really stood out was the quality of their workmanship. They handled what could’ve been a complicated job with total confidence and efficiency, and the final result is flawless. Everything works perfectly, and they left the space cleaner than they found it. It’s rare to find a team that brings this level of skill, care, and professionalism to the table. I’d recommend Core Plumbing without hesitation to anyone needing plumbing work done right the first time.
3 months agoOur shower head repair was handled in a professional and timely manner for a fair cost. The repair professional Joe handled things perfectly and was very nice. I even got to meet the owner Don who had an amazing tool that came in handy at the time. They also offered ideas when we decide to do renovations to the bathroom, and that they could do the work in the future. Highly recommend.
1 month agoProfessional Drain Cleaning in El Cajon
El Cajon residents know that a clogged drain can bring a busy household to a standstill, especially with the unique plumbing challenges found in East County. From the older homes near the downtown corridor to the newer developments tucked into the hills, drainage systems here are subject to everything from heavy mineral scale to thirsty tree roots seeking out moisture in our dry valley climate. When your sink won't drain or your toilet overflows, you don't have time to wait for a return call. Our service takes the guesswork out of finding a reliable plumber in 'The Box.' Instead of you calling down a list of names hoping someone is free, we proactively scan our network of certified El Cajon plumbing experts. We filter by your exact zip code and—most importantly—we personally call to verify that a technician is available to handle your specific drain problem right now. This ensures you get a professional at your door today without the headache of multiple phone calls.
Common Drain Issues in El Cajon
Invasive Tree Roots: In the semi-arid climate of El Cajon, thirsty roots from pepper trees or palms often infiltrate older sewer lines through small cracks, causing persistent and messy backups that require professional clearing.
Hard Water Buildup: The water supply in East County often carries a high mineral content. Over time, these minerals create significant scale buildup inside your pipes, narrowing the passage and causing frequent slow drains or recurring clogs.
Kitchen Grease Solidification: With many large families and a vibrant home-cooking culture in El Cajon, kitchen sinks take a beating. Fats and oils often solidify in the pipes during cooler nights, leading to stubborn blockages that a standard plunger can't fix.
Aging Pipe Infrastructure: Many of the charming, older neighborhoods in El Cajon still utilize original clay or cast iron pipes. These materials are prone to shifting or corroding over decades, leading to structural failures that manifest as chronic drainage issues.
Seasonal Drain Maintenance Tips for El Cajon
Before the winter rains hit East County, clear out your exterior area drains and gutters to prevent yard flooding and foundation issues when the El Cajon valley sees heavy runoff.
During the peak of the summer heat, run water occasionally through guest bathrooms or basement drains to keep p-traps from drying out and letting sewer odors into your home.
If you're hosting local friends and family for the holidays, remind everyone to keep fibrous scraps like corn husks or potato peels out of the garbage disposal to avoid an emergency kitchen backup.
In the spring growth season, keep an eye on slow-draining toilets; this is when local tree roots are most active and likely to seek out the moisture in your sewer lines.
Average Drain Cleaning Costs in El Cajon
Pricing in El Cajon varies based on the severity of the clog, the specialized equipment required (such as hydro-jetting for roots), and whether the work is performed during standard hours or as an emergency after-hours call.
