I honestly cannot say enough good things about Competitive Plumbing and Heating and the owner Marc. We were facing every homeowners nightmare, a clogged sewer line at the septic tank, on a holiday weekend and with guests at the house. The sewer had backup into all the tubs. We tried everything ourselves to clear it, our drain auger was not long enough and none of the usual assortment of chemicals made a dent. We had never needed the services of a plumber before so we were blindly searching online and make desperate call after desperate call. None of the plumbers who advertised themselves as “24 hour” returned any of our calls. Then after reading the credible reviews for Competitive we made one last attempt of trying to find someone. Marc himself answered the phone, he was polite, friendly, professional and even agreed to leave his family event to help us late at night. He showed up even earlier than promised, diagnosed the issue perfectly, resolved the clog and left the house even cleaner than he found it. And for a very reasonable prices, especially given that it was late on a Sunday night. I would not hesitate to recommend Marc and Competitive Plumbing for any of your plumbing needs. Josh

Amazing service! We had a leak in our main water service line from the street that needed urgent repair. Marc on the phone coordinated with our water works company to have the water shut off. Kevin arrived promptly, identified the issue, located the leak and had it quickly resolved. We are so appreciative of his kindness, attentiveness and ability to explain everything he was doing to us. I had a shower drain that has been slow for a few years and finally became extreme. Joe from Rooter-Man knew just what the problem was and cleared 70 years of cast iron scale in a matter of minutes. Julien from LHR Plumbing did an outstanding job. He was polite, asked the right questions, and got straight to work. I appreciated that he allowed me to stay and observe — I enjoy learning, and he was completely comfortable explaining what he was doing. He cleared the clog completely and flushed the line with Talon drain opener to ensure any remaining buildup was removed — it’s now running clear. Something that thoroughly impressed me was that while he was reassembling the pipes, the J-bend wouldn’t secure properly and kept popping off. He checked for a replacement but didn’t have one on hand. Instead of giving up or leaving to get another part, he assessed the situation, switched the J-pipes, secured everything properly, and solved the problem on the spot. That kind of calm problem-solving and resourcefulness is exactly what you hope for when hiring a professional. The clog is gone, everything is secure, and the job was completed thoroughly. I would confidently hire LHR Plumbing again.

I had a plumbing repair done, which I booked in response to a promotional text they sent me for 10% off plumbing repairs for their 10th anniversary. Despite that, I had to ask twice for the discount to appear on the bill, including at checkout. My bill was fully consolidated. No breakdown of charges. The workflow had high potential for waste. Two technicians came in and assessed the drain. They then left and said someone would call me with the options. The technicians then sat in truck for an half hour or so until I talked to a woman on the phone. After I gave a verbal approval on the phone, the technicians had me sign for the amount on a tablet. Then they went back to the office to get parts. Then they came back to do the work. So did I pay for two plumbers to sit in my driveway and drive town around for parts? I don’t know because bill is not itemized. But I think so. Very inefficient workflow. Very vague estimating and billing practices. Very aggressive marketing.

After a 2 week wait for service, First kid out, Matt stood in my kitchen while I was baking running his hands thru his long hair and continuing to talk about how he was new to the company and complaining about how he had to fill in forms on his phone to send to the company. Left a rocking toilet within a week called again had to wait 5 days second kid out I beleive you spell it Jillian he knew what he was doing fixed the problem with in 30 mins once he had supplies. I think price was high as I checked toilet prices at HD cheaper. Also not asked by first person if I wanted a standard toilet or a high set. Also I beleive if you do not sign up with this company and pay a fee to be something of a preferred customer that's why you wait so long but if you pay like a retaining fee they put you first in line and give 10 percent discounts.

I requested for Twins Plumbing to come and look at, assess, what appeared to be a clog in my pipe. They came over and used a camera to look at the situation and by the time they were done it costs me $1300. I was not expecting that at all as I really just wanted them to tell me if there was a problem. They unclogged a similar situation back in July for $850 and when I made the service appointment told them that since they had only done this a few months ago, I wasn’t expecting to be charged for it.

Dana is a top tier professional who generously worked with us to identify the possible error in hopes of saving us time and money, but when we weren’t able to solve the issue ourselves added us first thing to his busy schedule on Monday. No sales pushing, just exceptional service!

This week I called Twins Plumbing and Heating Inc. in Manchester, NH to inspect an issue with a toilet that I thought was "sweating" at it's base around the calking. They scheduled me in for that very day; even though they had many bookings already! It took them no time at all to figure out that the problem was a bad toilet wax ring. They replaced the ring and dried up the small amount of water on the floor. I was impressed with the team's punctuality, skill and politeness! I very much appreciated how careful this team was regarding my house! They wore shoe coverings while entering and were mindful while working in my very small, newly renovated half bath! Jimmy was on time, courteous, and explained what he was doing. I had my kitchen sink water backing up into my bathtub and my bathtub having serious clogging issues as well. He also noticed I had some plumbing issues that were not installed properly and will need to be taken care of in the future. Thank you for the help and a great job!

Scott and his team did an amazing job over two days to install a standby generator and a mini-split. I'm thoroughly satisfied with the work that they did. I would highly recommend Sanford for anyone looking to get similar work done.

Shawn came out and reviewed our boiler and was extremely honest, and upfront with us. He truly went above and beyond to work with us on a brand new boiler and something that was within our budget. My tub needed some urgent drainage unplugging and I received professional help and good customer service by the phone representative. Many hours were spent figuring out the issue with my drain by two guys. The guys were professional and explained the process all the way through. They took great care to keep booties on and even wiped down some of the snow that tracked it. Job well done and I appreciate their first rate response!

Great to get an appointment the following day. Considering Julian was here for over 3 hours very reasonable cost. He thoroughly checked drains were working properly and even fixed the slope on the existing pipe in the basement. I had called for sinks backing up and slow drains we decided to replace under kitchen sink and they definitely needed it. Happy now & would definitely recommend. LHR

The technicians who came to our home were polite, respectful, and thorough. They did a good job identifying the issue — deteriorated tub caulking and a corroded pipe — and addressed the plumbing concern. However, the caulking work itself was not done neatly. The lines are uneven and the finish does not reflect professional quality. Because of this, I am disappointed with that portion of the service. I am hopeful the company will stand behind its work and correct the caulking so it reflects the level of quality I expected when hiring professionals. Feb. 24. 2026 After my original review, LHR contacted me and followed through on their promise to redo the caulking. The technicians were pleasant, professional, and clearly committed to resolving the issue. I truly appreciate a company that stands behind its work and takes concerns seriously. Their follow-through and professionalism are why I am updating this to five stars. I would not hesitate to use them again.

Hands down the best service we’ve experienced! From the first call, we felt confident we were in good hands. The guy that did the job on my toilet replaced was very friendly, knowledgeable and really cared about doing a good job! He worked hard, did a great job and cleaned up nicely! I called in the morning because my toilet was leaking into the basement and wanted to get this done ASAP! Truly Blessed has been to my house twice for separate plumbing services. I have an old-ish house with the usual 1970s pipe issues. Both visits they have done a professional, proper, and timely job. They have been available when I had an emergency and cost- and mess-conscious. The owner, Prince, is an efficient and pragmatic individual who is also a very nice person. Truly blessed plumbing and heating is a Godsent! Our water heater had broken down for a few months and while I was driving coming from work and there was the van in front of me. I called the number and they got back to me very quickly! Great great company. This is the best company ever, the tech/Prince was so kind and friendly. This is an honest, recent review of a local HVAC/Plumbing company . We want to support local businesses if possible. That being said, our 1st experience with this local business didn't go very well. We initially contacted them to have a small valve replaced at our boiler as it was dripping. I asked for an estimate of the price upfront, and was informed without seeing it, they were unable to provide that. I also sent a picture of the valve that was leaking and still no estimate. When they arrived, they were cordial and professional. After taking a quick look at the valve, they also decided to replace the check valve adjacent to the dripping valve, even though it seemed to be functioning perfectly. They proceeded to complete the work and were essentially leaving the driveway in approx. 30 minutes. During our conversation with them, we asked them to stop at the front door before they left. They basically said "we will write up a slip and it will be mailed to you" We assumed that at the very least we would get a paper receipt of what was done before they left. Well, they left without giving us a price, a work order, a receipt, anything. I had to call the office and asked what the total bill would be. Later that day they got back to me and quite honestly, I almost fell off the chair. $540.00 for less than 30 minutes and a simple shutoff valve installation. I was informed that $212.00 was their minimum just to come out to a home. We were never told any of this up front even though I asked. They indicated that the valves (one of which was not required, but "suggested") cost them over $200.00. This may be true, but we were able to easily find the replacement valves in both HD and Amazon for $65.00, for BOTH valves. Since we had originally sent them pictures of the valve to be replaced, they knew beforehand what they planned to use as a new valve, but never informed us that it was far more expensive than what a typically valve would be. The valves seem to be overkill for such a simple replacement, but we as the customer had no opportunity to not have them install it should we have decided that. The installation seems professional, but the price was sky high for such a simple job. Being a local resident, we were assuming in good faith to build relationships with local businesses, but that is obviously not the case. Its clear to us they are driven solely by money, not customer relationships. Also, there is no indication from anyone what the warranty is on the work performed, its all just a total mystery working with this company. Since then, we reached out to (2) separate contractors who indicated there is nothing at all unusual or difficult about this routine job and they confirmed (what we had researched before we ever contacted Sarette), which is that the absolute most this should have cost was $250-$300. Sarette installed the valves they chose, but gave the customer no option, no opportunity / choice to refuse this installation if we wanted to. The installers were fine, but whomever is responsible for the final cost should understand that you may have gotten the bill paid this go-around, you have lost what would have been a loyal and repeat customer going forward. An expensive lesson for sure, but a valuable lesson all the same, that not all businesses see value in their customers, just the bottom line. We fully understand its a business, but frankly we felt taken advantage of by this company and would not use, nor recommend their services again. A very frustrating & disappointing experience.

Fantastic company. Extremely knowledgeable, professional, friendly, communication was top notch and they took care of my problem immediately. 3 people who looked at my furnace beforehand had said it was “fine” it was just the extremely cold temps that caused it to burn through 3/4 a tank in 3 weeks. I had a gut feeling those guys were wrong so I got hooked up with Sarette Bros. Thank God! They found and replaced completely corroded electrodes, a broken fan switch, took out 10 lbs of crud, replaced a dirty filter and placed a missing one, and evaluated the efficiency of the system based on the location of the thermostat and ductwork. These guys know what they’re doing. I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

As a general contractor it’s always a battle for us to find and hold onto quality subcontractors. I can say without hesitation that Andre the owner / operator of Done Right HVAC is one of those quality contractors. He is a professional in his field. His work is excellent and he delivers on time!
