Had a pleasant experience with Geovanni of Team Rooter Venture Inc. of Simi Valley. We worked with this company a couple of years ago and called them first when we needed additional plumbing help. Team Rooter is a reputable company that has reasonable prices and guarantees their work. Our past plumber from them was no longer with their company but who they sent this time (Geovanni) was even better. He is punctual, polite, efficient, and very professional. You could tell he respected our home. Geovanni communicated very well and set expectations early on. Geovanni was able to change our water heater by himself. It was way over its life expectancy and time to go. Unfortunately, the old water heater drain was so blocked up with sediments (uhhh, we were not quite on top of our maintenance) that all of the water did not drain out even when Geovanni used his pump. I was impressed that he was able to carry it partially full of water over the safety bollard in our garage. At water heater installation, Geovanni did wonderful work re-piping the plastic drainage pipe and copper pressure release pipes. He did a better job than the original home builders who installed the first water heater. Geovanni's lines were cleaner, angles were better, and just more out of the way, without compromising access. Our other plumbing problem child (clogged drain) became more of an issue than expected. Geovanni used a camera to show us where the standing water was in our pipes and was able to figure out a solution. Basically, the home builders had pipes full of multiple turns and sharp angles in the walls instead of straight down. The poor drainage design and corrosion over time led to complete blockage. Thankfully, Geovanni (with the help of some of his Team Rooter co-workers) was able to pinpoint the problem areas, fix the improper pipe slope, and jet the main drain. Geovanni does work very cleanly. His drywall work was impressive. Geovanni was able to explain why there were draining problems and also how to prevent future ones (maintenance again). Overall, it took a couple of days but we feel great about the work done at our house. After watching Geovanni fix everything, you can tell he takes pride in his work and knows what he is doing. We definitely would recommend Team Rooter to anyone in the Ventura county. They are honest, hard working, and available 24/7. If you do call... request our favorite plumber Geovanni Penate.

Giovani was great! He was thorough with troubleshooting my issue on my toilet and it seemingly being plugged. His troubleshooting though pointed to a bad toilet not a main line plug-gage. He told me the service was free since he could not guarantee the line was the issue. His honesty was refreshing and I will call this company again for issues because of his honesty..You do not see this kind of honesty anywhere anymore, …. Incredible.

Ask for Geovanni Penate This is our second time working with Team Rooter Venture Inc in the Ventura, CA area. In 2024, we thoroughly researched and contacted multiple plumbers in the area.  This company was able to schedule service right away (even on the weekend).  They work 24/7 and can show up afterhours and holidays.  They also send confirmation texts for appointments, surveys, etc. and emails for invoice and home inspections should you choose.  Team Rooter had the best pricing for our clogged kitchen sink.  We were so pleased with the work they did that we called Team Rooter again in 2026 for a different plumbing problem.  I liked that they had complete records of the last time they were out.  *FYI, after the plumbing work is complete, they send out a report with a description of the scope of work done. This month, Geovanni was assigned to us and he is the best  - professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and more than capable. He is the type of plumber I would feel safe referring to my grandmother if she had a plumbing issue. Professional - I appreciated that Geovanni would call and give a 30 minutes heads up before he arrived and he's pretty punctual.  (Can't stand when other vendors or deliveries would give you a 4 hour window so you're stuck just waiting.)  He brought his tools and laptop to visually show up pricing breakdown and clearly explained our options. I want to know what we will be spending upfront. Courteous - Geovanni is so polite and well spoken.  He acknowledged my children and always wore shoe covers inside the house. He is meticulous and he would put things back if he moved them out of his way.  Some areas of our house were cleaner after he left than before he got there. Knowledgeable - Geovanni also answered all of our questions (and I had a bunch in the 5 days he was at our house).  He explained in a way we understood. If there was something he didn't know, he would figure it out.  And this is how we met Israel, who also works with Team Rooter.  I think it's great that the Simi Valley office works together to get the job done.  I felt very confident that our plumbing would be in order at a reasonable price by the time they left us. *We also got to meet the Jetter operator and Steven (manager I believe) from Team Rooter. Workmanship - Geovanni worked quickly and efficiently.  The plastic and copper pipes he redid look way better than they did before... instead of multiple right angles, he angled them to flow better and reduce a collection of water (which started our problem in the first place).  He also performed some drywall repair after replacing the pipes, and we were very impressed by his drywall work (he took the time to really match the existing walls on multiple floors in our house).  I am just thankful he was able to fix all of our water issues. If we have problems in the future, I would def call Team Rooter again.  We recommend Geovanni and Team Rooter to all of our friends, family, and neighbors. I believe they have offices to cover from Santa Barbara to San Diego.

Rex Thomas has been our go-to guy for every kind of plumbing work on our family's two houses over the last 22 years. We give him our highest recommendation. He is a very experienced, very competent, hard-working, full service plumber. Over the years we have hired Rex to install trenchless sewer lines, new fresh water lines, new toilets, sinks and showers, on -demand water heaters (requiring water, gas, and electrical connections), repairs of sewer vent piping, a rainwater drainage system, a water line to our new refrigerator's ice machine, and more for us. He refurbished vintage faucets in our old historic house. Our family's other house has a concrete slab foundation, which poses extra challenges for plumbing repair work. Rex did a great job dealing with major plumbing repairs to that house, installing a new sewer line, new toilets, sink and shower drains, and a yard drainage system. That job included lots of excavation and pouring new concrete, and using a camera on a snake to locate and diagnose hidden problems in buried pipes. Other duties as assigned: We also hired Rex to demolish and remove old asphalt and concrete features we found buried in our yard. One Thanksgiving we did the classic bone head trick of clogging our kitchen sink with potato peelings, and Rex came out on a holiday to clear our drain. And he has provided periodic maintenance (de-scaling and filter replacement) for our on - demand water heaters. Rex is honest and conscientious. He is good at explaining what a job will entail before he starts work. And he typically provides detailed documentation of his work on invoices after he is done. His rates are fair and he is worth every penny.

Since 2008 when I bought my fixer-upper house, Rex has been helping me with ALL of my plumbing problems. Rex has been and is the most honest, reliable plumber I have ever known. I trust Rex implicitly. He always quotes a fair price before each project and frankly, after knowing him all this time, I will pay whatever prices. They are very reasonable. I have great a respect for his work ethic; About 5 summers (or so) ago, some corroded pipes required replacing and re-routing. DESPITE THE HEAT and the challenge, he completed the work in record time. A couple of years ago he stayed until 2 am to remove an old broken water heater and replace it with a new one. I looked for replacement parts, but the unit was old, parts would not be available for six weeks and were very expensive. Again, his prices were much more reasonable and his service was quicker compared to trying to buy (and wait for) parts. Before meeting Rex, I had to deal with more than one or two very dishonest plumbing outfits. From Day One he has been a true blue and upstanding man. I recently contacted Rex Plumbing for a leak under my kitchen sink. He came out right away and figured out the problem. I appreciated that he did not go directly to the most expensive fix but rather tried something to tide me over since I was planning a kitchen reno. Unfortunately my faucet was too far gone. When I called him back, he suggested a couple of popular faucet options, then purchased the one I picked, and came over and installed it. He also replaced hoses underneath my sink, one of which was ready to blow. The whole process, from start to finish, progressed without delays. Rex is knowledgeable, efficient, and goes above and beyond. He's also just a nice guy. After he replaced the faucet, I mentioned to him a problem I was having with a shower valve and he looked at it and fixed it as well! It wasn't even on his schedule. I called Rooter Man because my kitchen sink was not draining. I assumed it would be a simple clogged line service but unfortunately I was wrong. My clean out line for my sink drain was clogged and had a sudden break. They sent Rodrigo out immediately and within an hour he was at my home. Rodrigo was the best! He answered all of my questions and went above and beyond to ensure that my repair was not only complete but he also inspected the entire underside of the home to see what else possibly would need repair in the future. Rene did his best to give me the $49 special. He spent a lot of time working on it, and it's not his fault it didn't work. As their guarantee says, he didn't charge me since he wasn't able to clear the drain. He was very knowledgeable, and he went above and beyond to help us even though our clog was too much for his machinery. He gave me useful tips and information, and was respectful of the property, etc.

We had a leak right outside our back door leading to our detached garage. We were referred ABSOLUTE PLUMBING and they were able to uncover the issue. The piping leading out to the garage had two minor leaks due to poor copper being used and tree root encroaching on the pipe. Long story short, they were quick to respond to our call, get the job done and out. Team was friendly and knowledgeable. We will definitely use again and refer when possible.

Stop searching and CALL HIM!! I originally found Solid Plumbing and drain on thumbtack because I needed a gas line installed for my new stove. While under the house, Jorge showed me the wet ground because of the pipes that were cracked, and had weeds growing inside and around them. He saved me a huge disaster and repaired the pipes that day. The second time I hired him it was to replace the valves and fixtures in my bathrooms. This brings me to the third time that I hired him again to replace my old plastic tub with a tiled shower. He also moved the pipes and walls to create at least a foot more room all around. And the tile crew…. Just wow, the craftsmanship is the absolute best. Jorge and his team cleaned up everything and they were very kind and courteous. I am so extremely happy with my new shower!!
