1 year agoValley Service Mechanical
528 16th St NE, West Fargo, ND 58078, USA
(701) 293-5701I scheduled an appointment just before the holidays, and Neil came out on December 31 to unclog my pipes. He did an excellent job. Unfortunately, the very next day the pipes clogged again, so I called and Neil returned the following Monday, January 5. At that time, he diagnosed that the main pipes under my house were broken and needed repair. We scheduled the work, and although he mentioned it could take up to two days, Neil and his team completed the repairs in just one day. I was extremely pleased with their professionalism and efficiency. Neil thoroughly explained the entire process, including what was being done and the expected outcome. I am very satisfied with the service and truly appreciate their hard work.
2 months agoCalled in on Monday morning just to schedule a regular service and they had a cancelation so were able to come out that morning. I have a 1964 Milwaukee Thermoflo oil furnace with electric for dual fuel. Tim, the service man, was awesome! He knew this old furnace and it ended up i needed a new belt along with the typical nozzle, and oil filter. I've been using Valley Service Mech for a few years now and they have always done a great job at a fair price. Thanks again!
1 month agoI’ve used Valley Service Mechanical twice for leaks in toilets on different occasions. They answer the phone quickly, are polite, and were able to get Jordan out fast. He has great communication, explained what the issue is, wasn’t trying to upsell me, and had affordable pricing. Grateful to have found them and I highly recommend!!
2 weeks agoSkooters Plumbing & Drain Cleaning
772 Center St, West Fargo, ND 58078, USA
(701) 799-4357I couldn’t be happier with the service I received from Skooters Plumbing & Drain Cleaning. From the moment I contacted them, their team was professional, friendly, and quick to respond. They arrived right on time, explained the issue clearly, and got to work immediately. I had a battery backup sump pump installed and their work was phenomenal. What impressed me most was their attention to detail and respect for my home — they worked efficiently, cleaned up afterward, and made sure everything was running perfectly before leaving. The pricing was fair and transparent, with no surprise charges. It’s rare to find a company that combines skill, honesty, and genuine care for their customers, but Skooters does exactly that. I’ll definitely be calling them for any future plumbing needs and recommending them to friends and family! Huge shoutout to Kolby, he is an awesome asset to the Company!!
2 months agoRunning six car washes in Fargo, and the team at Skooters Plumbing & Drain Cleaning has been nothing short of outstanding. They are extremely responsive, punctual, and respectful every time we call. What really stands out is their versatility, they’ve helped us with everything from plumbing and HVAC to boiler systems and inground heat. No matter the issue, they handle it quickly and professionally. It’s genuinely a 10 out of 10 experience every time. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, skilled service!
3 months agoAs a single homeowner in my 20s who doesn't know a thing about plumbing, Skooters Plumbing has made all the difference. When another company quoted me $20,000 to replace my sewer line, Skooters plumbing came to my house and actually fixed the issue - saving me nearly that entire $20k I was originally quoted. They were clean, communicated well, and were nothing but patient throughout the process as I asked questions. A week later, I had a completely different issue when the freezing temps froze a water line in my house and it cracked open resulting in water all over my storage room and laundry room. Skooter took my phone call after hours, FaceTimed me through exactly what to do to stop the problem before they came to my house, and again, the team talked me through each part of the process when it was fixed. I can't say enough good things about this crew and the work they do. I am so grateful to have someone I trust, can call without worry, and depend on to both educate me and fix the issue at hand.
1 month agoComplete Plumbing Services Inc.
5684 US-10, Dilworth, MN 56529, USA
(701) 715-0730Had issues with a clogged drain that was causing flooding in my laundry room. I called Chris with Complete Plumbing, and he got back to me quickly and scheduled a time to come out that worked for me. Him and Dylan were very friendly and professional and resolved the issue quickly. Highly recommend!
3 weeks agoI had Complete Plumbing Services install a new hot water heater at my home in Hawley, Minnesota. Chris was quick and professional. The price was fair and he cleaned up really well. Great plumbing company! Highly recommended.
1 month agoWe had a boiler system installed and couldn’t be happier with the experience. Chris was knowledgeable, professional, and took the time to explain everything clearly. The installation was done efficiently and cleanly, and the system is working perfectly. Highly recommend Chris and this company for any heating or plumbing needs.
2 months agoAquatech Plumbing
423 5th Ave N, Mapleton, ND 58059, USA
(701) 793-8807Answers by text, always appreciated. Ive met 3 on their team because of multiple issues, but never had to repeat a job. Everybody is respectful and thoughtful. Surprisingly, everybody cleans up. Plumbers always seem to leave a mess for me. I havent had to clean because they came in to unclog or fix something. Quick, and willing to fit me in the next day.
11 months agoI had a significant sewer gas problem in the older house I had purchased. I paid $2500 to two different outfits for assistance and did not get the issues resolved. Because I live 75 miles from Fargo, and had to reach out to that area for plumbers, it meant they had to travel a total of 150 miles. The second outfit I hired charge me $1,250 to travel to my house (I'm not kidding!) and another 300 for their time spent looking for the problem and not finding it, just a little issue. They arranged to come back and said it might take two days, and it would cost another $3,500 to $5,000 for their labor, IN ADDITION to $1250 for each trip. In other words, I could end up paying $3,750 before they even got to work!! I fired them and was was led to Propress through various calls to other companies for help. A journeyman and apprentice showed up the first day, they found the problem within 20 minutes. It wasn't even that hard, because I had already opened up the dropped ceiling to remove some damaged tiles and didn't want to close it up until I was sure any exposed plumbing was right. All they had to do was cut out a couple short lathe (the plaster was already gone) and shine their flashlight to see the problem, which no one else was competent to do. They came back with the master plumber and the three of them got to work, redid a good portion of the plumbing right through the exhaust pipe, and charged me $3,000 total INCLUDING travel. No more sewer gas smell. They didn't even have to take out any more of the ceiling, it was already exposed. Thank God for Chris and his crew, who just did competent work and charged a reasonable price for it.
1 year agoChris was responsive and helpful - when our boiler pump failed and we were without heat, he and his team worked over their lunch break to respond quickly and fit us in between the work they already had scheduled for the day. Highly recommend.
11 months agoMaynard Brothers Plumbing LLC
3955 56th St S #8160, Fargo, ND 58104, USA
(701) 248-8247Reaching out to Maynard Brothers Plumbing LLC turned out to be an excellent decision. They were the only ones who promptly responded when I faced an issue with a blocked sewer line. They managed to arrive at my residence promptly and were quick to identify the problem using a sewer camera. Their technician, Bryce, was both proficient and professional. He was able to clear the line effectively and restore my plumbing system to full functionality swiftly. All in all, I was thoroughly pleased with the service I received, and I would strongly recommend them to anyone requiring plumber services.

From the first evaluation to the ultimate repair, they were punctual, polite, and kept me updated at every stage. Their work was of the highest quality, and I am blown away by their meticulous attention to detail and the effort made to limit disruption to my property. The team went the extra mile to guarantee my absolute satisfaction. If you're dealing with sewer line problems in Fargo, look no further. Their exceptional service, expertise, and commitment to customer satisfaction make them the first choice for any plumbing needs. Five stars and a big thumbs up from an extremely satisfied customer!
1 year agoFantastic service! My spouse and I had a leak in our outdoor shower. We reached out to a couple of plumbers we'd used before, but got no response for a good while. We also contacted another company but they were fully booked for several months. Luckily, one of our neighbors recommended Edwin from Maynard Brothers Plumbing LLC. He got back to us the very same day! The next day, he sent Bryce over to inspect the issue and he was able to repair it immediately! As individuals who also work in the contractor business, we know how challenging scheduling and managing workload can be. However, Edwin was the only plumber in Fargo who responded promptly and resolved our pipe leak. We would definitely endorse their services!
1 year agoLEGACY PLUMBING & HEATING
3522 4th Ave S, Fargo, ND 58103, USA
(701) 306-3375Saadque was absolutely wonderful to work with! He was friendly, professional, and extremely informative throughout the entire process. He took the time to explain what was going on with our drain issue and made sure I understood everything before moving forward. You can tell he truly cares about doing the job right. Highly recommend Legacy Plumbing & Heating — especially Saadque!
2 weeks agoI wanted to share a huge thank you to Legacy! They helped me upgrade my broken 6-year-old Goodman furnace on 12/5/2025 after a service call on 12/3/2025. The original unit was in bad shape, largely due to the heat exchanger being plugged with drywall dust from a bad initial installation by the homebuilder. The HVAC team members who helped me were Tommy, Blake, Austin, and Jackson. Tommy performed a thorough inspection, identifying both the faulty exhaust boot drain and running a heat exchanger test, which made the difficult decision to replace the unit much easier. Austin and Jackson completed the install properly and even fixed some old ventilation errors. All showed professionalism and excellent customer service! I will definitely be calling Legacy again for assistance if needed.
3 months agoI recommend Legacy Plumbing to my clients and friends all the time, and in the last two weeks we got to experience their service twice at our own house thanks to some truly impressive “DIY did you do this?” projects from previous owners. Both times, they were accommodating, quick, efficient, clean, and cost effective. Honestly, it was such a relief. From the moment someone answers the phone, you can tell they get it. Nobody is calling a plumber on a whim because it sounds fun. The office team and on call staff were kind, compassionate, and genuinely understanding, which matters more than people realize when something is leaking, backing up, or just plain stressing you out. Tyler P and Saadque were fantastic. Friendly, professional, and they even gave our dogs some pets, which is always a win in my book. If you’re Googling a plumber, don’t shop on price alone. A low price can also mean low care for the customer experience. Legacy proves you can have great service and fair pricing in one place. Life really does flow better with Legacy. Do yourself a favor and just call the best first.
3 weeks agoNorthStar Plumbing & Drain Cleaning
800 38th St N #2, Fargo, ND 58102, USA
(701) 367-9592Northstar was recommended by an independent plumber who was too booked out to get to our home. We were told that Northstar was great to work with on jobs. Tried them out for a water heater replacement. Great communication from their dispatch; professional, clean, prompt service from the technician. One recommendation was made to add an additional shut-off valve, which is something I had also noted. Outside of that single suggestion, no sales add-ons were recommended. I had to leave, and all of my "please do this before you leave" requests were followed. Overall great service, we will absolutely be using them again! We did call them again for a low-pressure faucet. When the technician arrived, the issue was found to be homeowner idiocy, lol. So he walked me through fixing it myself. And didn't even charge a service call (which i tried to pay, because I felt really dumb). He was soooo nice. This absolutely sealed the deal that Northstar will be our plumbing/drain go-to going forward.
3 months agoI called Northstar for water in my crawl space at 12AM, and they came out promptly with a plan to get it remediated as fast as possible. They were able to do that for the evening, then came back the next day with a full gameplan to prevent any future issues. Would recommend Northstar to anybody
2 months agoSo far we are impressed with the professionalism and the correctness of the NorthStar plumbing! We hired them to do a plumbing re-fit in a bathroom remodel and they were very direct and honest upfront with their quote and understanding of the problems at hand. We intend to keep working with NorthStar Plumbing into the future!
1 year agoPlumbwise
3101 Fiechtner Dr, Fargo, ND 58103, USA
(701) 306-2074Cleared out the basement floor drain as it was draining a bit slowly. Even texted to follow up to make sure everything was still going OK. Unfortunately it turned out it was also the pipe where the washer was draining that also needed clearing out. He came back at no additional charge and cleared that out as well and now everything is draining as it should! That is fantastic customer service that is becoming rare nowadays. Will certainly call Plumbwise, and recommend him to others, for any plumbing needs in the future.
3 months agoVery good experience with Plumwise, we called on a Saturday and he showed up an hour and a half away after finishing another job. Very professional and completed the job in a timely manner. Nice and down to earth guy on top of great service.
1 month agoFIrst company to answer my call after my water heater went out. Scheduled an appointment and was right on time. We were told at home depot the water heater installation would be between 800 to 1200 dollars. He quoted us for 625 dollars. I’d say beyond fair pricing for the an installation. We received a water heater that was damaged,, which was found during un boxing. We had to buy a larger water heater because home depot didn’t have the same 40 gallon water heater, we bought the last one on stock on sunday. After installation, I received a message asking if any issues anther the installation. I thought to myself, that’s customer service, that’s how everyone should be treated. Talking with DJ knowing he had other jobs scheduled that day, he still had time to check back with me to make sure everything was good. I can admit, i won’t be calling anyone else from now on. I have DJ’s number saved in my phone and for sure will recommend anyone to him for his services. Thank you again for your help!
5 months agoJeff's Plumbing & Drain Cleaning Inc.
750 34th St N Unit J, Fargo, ND 58102, USA
(701) 281-8241I used Jeff's Plumbing for the first time after noticing drain water leaking into the sump pit. The work was scheduled in a timely manner and the technicians, Ehsan and Tyler, were awesome. After the floor slab was removed, they clearly showed and explained everything. The job was completed so fast, I had them look at two other issues I had been dealing with. Both were fixed that same day, including a shower valve replacement. My wife and I both enjoyed how professional and friendly the technicians were. Two thumbs up 👍 for the technicians and Jeff's Plumbing.
5 months agoI was very happy with the help I got from Jeff's plumbing. Payton helped with my home a couple of times. He was very patient and explained everything thoroughly to me. He was very respectful and took the extra time to make sure I understood everything and allowed me to ask questions without any judgment. He and Ehsan came to my house another time and helped me understand my basement plumbing and the correct fix, which I really appreciated! I other companies may have not demonstrated such honesty and knowledge. I recommend Jeff's to my friends whenever they need a plumber!
4 months agoJust wanted to say you guys did a great job! Caiden came out one time, and so did Tyler. They both were very respectful, knowledgeable, got the job done in a timely manner, didn’t track all over the floors, and put a blanket down where they worked. I would definitely recommend them for any issues you may have!
1 month agoProfessional Drain Cleaning in Fargo
Fargo residents know that a clogged drain isn't just a minor inconvenience; in the Red River Valley, it's a disruption to your daily life. Whether you're near NDSU or out in the rapidly growing neighborhoods of South Fargo, finding a plumber who is actually available right now can be a frustrating game of phone tag. That’s where our unique verification service changes the game for North Dakota homeowners. We don't just provide a list of names; we actively scan our network of certified Fargo plumbers, filter them by your exact zip code, and personally call them to confirm they have an open slot for your specific issue. This ensures you aren't wasting time on hold with companies that are booked out for weeks, giving you the fastest possible path to a clear drain.
Common Drain Issues in Fargo
In Fargo's sub-zero winters, grease and fats in pipes solidify much faster than in warmer climates. This leads to stubborn kitchen clogs that can completely stop your sink during the coldest months of the year.
Older neighborhoods near downtown Fargo and the Hawthorne area often deal with mature tree roots. These roots seek out moisture in aging sewer lines, causing significant blockages that require professional snake or hydro-jetting services.
As the Red River rises during the spring melt, Fargo's drainage systems are pushed to their limits. This seasonal pressure often leads to basement floor drain backups and sump pump failures that require immediate professional attention.
Regional water in Cass County can be quite hard, leading to mineral and calcium buildup over time. These deposits narrow your pipes, causing frustratingly slow-draining tubs and showers that only professional descaling can truly fix.
Seasonal Drain Maintenance Tips for Fargo
Winter: Never pour grease down the drain during an ND winter. The extreme cold causes it to harden almost instantly, creating a 'fatberg' that can burst pipes when they freeze.
Spring: Inspect your sump pump and clear out basement floor drains before the Red River spring melt begins to prevent seasonal flooding and sewer backups.
Summer: During 'lake season' gatherings and NDSU tailgates, be extra careful with garbage disposals. Avoid putting corn husks, potato peels, or fibrous vegetables down the drain.
Fall: Ensure all outdoor faucets are drained and disconnected before the first hard freeze. This prevents pressure fluctuations that can cause indoor drainage issues during the winter transition.
Average Drain Cleaning Costs in Fargo
Pricing in Fargo is influenced by the severity of the blockage and the technology required. A simple snake for a sink may be on the lower end, while main sewer line clearing or hydro-jetting typically costs more.
Frequently Asked Questions about Drain Cleaning in Fargo
How do you find the best drain cleaner in Fargo?
We use your specific Fargo zip code to scan our network of certified plumbers and then we call them ourselves to verify they have immediate availability for your job.
Are 24-hour drain services really available in Fargo?
Yes, many Fargo plumbers offer 24/7 service. Our system filters for those currently on call and ready to respond to your emergency in the Fargo-Moorhead area.
Does the Red River flooding affect my home's drains?
Yes, high water levels can increase pressure on Fargo's municipal sewer lines, which may cause residential floor drains to backup or drain slowly during the spring.
How long does it take to get a plumber to my house in Fargo?
By verifying availability before you call, we significantly reduce your wait time. Most of our verified pros can offer same-day service for urgent drain issues.
Can the extreme North Dakota cold cause my drains to clog?
Absolutely. Frozen ground can cause pipes to shift, and grease inside pipes solidifies much faster in the winter, leading to more frequent blockages between December and March.
