Top Rated Plumbers in St. Louis
Flow King Rooter Plumbing
11025 Lin Valle Dr, St. Louis, MO 63123, USA
(314) 254-2316Flow King Rooter Plumbing replaced the old lead water service line for our commercial property (major excavation project), and built us a brand new plumbing system for a new kitchen/restaurant. We also had a clogged sewer/drain problem on our property and Silvio was able to help us check out the issue very quickly. Silvio and his team are very professional, knowledgeable, and highly efficient. They put the time and effort into their work. We definitely recommend Flow King over any other companies (so you can stop Googling). Plumbing, sewer, drain, excavating, definitely go with Flow King 👍.
2 months agoI had a large plumbing emergency right before the holidays. Silvio and team were extremely responsive in adjusting schedules to assist and resolve the issue. Communication was excellent throughout and work performed well. Without them other work in progress would have been halted and I would not have been able to host the holidays. Definitely my go-to plumbers from now on!
2 months agoMichael was an absolute heaven sent , as he was working on a neighbors house and saw us having some difficulty with our outside faucet. Came over , took a look, told us what was wrong and was able to come back the following more and got it taken care of in no time. So friendly, and professional. Absolutely 10/10 recommend!
2 months agoAA Quick Plumbing And Sewer
3012 N Lindbergh Blvd, St Ann, MO 63074, USA
(314) 429-7131We are having a very bad experience with this plumbing company. The first plumber not only failed to identify the real issue with our bathroom faucet system — he actually damaged it, which caused a leak that went down into our basement and led to a repair bill of $778.93. When their second plumber came, he confirmed in text messages that their previous plumber had damaged the faucet. Instead of consulting us, he replaced the entire system with a commercial-type faucet (the kind you usually see in gyms), which does not work for us at all. The water flow can’t be adjusted properly — it’s either too weak and cold or way too strong. Because of this, we’ll eventually have to pay again to replace it with a proper home system. To make matters worse, their second plumber threw away our expensive shower head without asking, and after the first visit, the bathtub drainage got clogged, forcing us to call and pay another plumber to fix it. Even though the leak and damages were entirely caused by their first plumber’s poor work, the company refuses to reimburse us for the basement repairs. They claim that we are “even” because they replaced the faucet — but that replacement was not what we wanted, does not work properly, and was never discussed with us. I have text message screenshots from their own second plumber confirming that the first one caused the damage. I have been trying to resolve this issue and get them to pay the basement repair bill since October 7, but instead of resolving the matter properly, they insisted that replacing the faucet settled everything. This whole situation has been frustrating, costly, and disappointing. I would strongly caution anyone before using this company. I am now preparing to file a formal complaint with the state licensing authorities and to pursue this matter further in small claims court. Update: That’s quite a misleading response from AA Quick Plumbing And Sewer. I already reached out multiple times over the past three weeks — by phone and email — before posting this review. Rick has my direct contact information and full documentation, including invoices and text messages from his own technician confirming that their first plumber caused the leak. Despite this, the company has not resolved the matter properly. I’ve filed a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau, where the company is accredited, and will continue pursuing this until it’s properly resolved.
4 months agoGerald was excellent; nice guy, and solved my stopped up drain quickly and inexpensively. We’ve been satisfied customers of AA Quick for decades!
3 weeks agoLove AA Quick! So polite and same day service. Gabe was great and even was nice to my dogs who relentlessly terrorized him!! Great company, great work, great value. Will always be my go-to, locally owned plumbing company!
1 week agoLinek Plumbing Company
24 Kirkham Industrial Ct, Webster Groves, MO 63119, USA
(314) 962-0956The technician arrived on time and was polite. However, I was charged $198 to unclog a drain using a plunger, which took less than 10 minutes. There was no warranty or follow-up guarantee included. I thought there would be more to the service than using a plunger... I can do that myself. I understand service calls cost money, but the price felt excessive for the work performed. I recommend asking about pricing and guarantees upfront. I had a follow up appointment with them to fix a garbage disposal and cancelled the appointment immediately. I'll be working with another company.
3 weeks agoI had a fantastic experience with Linek Plumbing and couldn’t be more pleased with their service. From start to finish, everything was handled professionally and efficiently. Dianne provided truly great customer service—friendly, responsive, and helpful throughout the entire process. Manager Seth made sure everything was coordinated smoothly, and the technical team was skilled, punctual, and respectful of our home. They installed a new water heater in a very short time, and the quality of the work was excellent. What really stood out was their outstanding after-hours support. Knowing they’re available when you need them most gives real peace of mind. Highly recommend Linek Plumbing for their professionalism, efficiency, and top-tier customer care!
2 weeks agoJake was awesome! He was able to fix our broken bib on the hose faucet in no time. He was so kind and patient and explained everything he was going to do. He made sure to get us a quote before he started to make sure we knew the cost before anything was done. I’ve used Linek twice now and I will be using them in the future. They’re fantastic and so glad to have found them!
2 months agoTony LaMartina Plumbing Co. Inc
5705 Dale Ave, St. Louis, MO 63110, USA
(314) 965-9377The techs that came to do shutoff & faucet upgrades were wonderful. They came up with creative solutions when problems blocked progress & their work had an artistic flair even though most of it would be hidden, never to be seen again. You know you have a good tradesman when the work meant to be in walls could be on permanent display. Would highly recommend Tony La Martina Plumbing to any & all.
4 weeks agoNicholas G., from Tony LaMartina Plumbing, provided excellent service. He opened up our clogged pipe and our kitchen and bathroom drains are working again!!! We would highly recommend using them for your plumbing needs. This is our second time using their services and we find them to be professional, dependable & reasonably priced.
3 weeks agoOur technician, Michael, was absolutely GREAT. He was very professional, courteous and thorough. We had a very technical 3-day job of removing two 50-gal water heater tanks and installing a new tankless water heater system. His attention to detail was very impressive. At the end of each day the work area was left clean and organized. Upon completion of the project he walked us through all aspects of our new system. He is one of the best tradesmen we have ever worked with. Highly recommended.
2 months agoKirkwood Plumbing Inc
248 Grand Ave, Kirkwood, MO 63122, USA
(636) 200-3007I would give Kirkwood Plumbing 10 stars if more were aveilable! I had an emergency (floor drain backed up into basement) on a Saturday that needed remediation immediately. 2 other companies couldn't get anyone out until Monday. I found Kirkwood plumbing via a Google search. They had a technician out in under 2 hours!!!. BRANDON SMITH WAS AWESOME!!! He identified the problem, cleared out the tree roots and debris, and the water from the basement cleared out quickly. I mentioned I had a running toilet. Brandon fixed that too! I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this company and I did not have to take out a 2nd mortgage to cover the costs! Very reasonable for a Saturday emergency call!❤️❤️❤️ I will be using Kirkwood Plumbing from here on out. Shhhh.. don't tell them...I now need them to figure out why I don't get water to my upstairs bathroom sink.
2 months agoWe drilled through a pipe trying to hang something on a Friday night. Fixed it to get us through the weekend but that decide to stop holding Saturday night. They came out on a Sunday and fixed it quickly. They were all super nice!
1 month agoEveryone was very professional and tidy! Luke is an excellent plumber and project manager. He was so helpful and walked us thru each step of our homeowners insurance! We had no unforeseen issues. Luke is very upfront about everything. The additional plumbers worked very hard to complete the job in a timely manner. I highly recommend Kirkwood Plumbing - Mr. Rooter!

1453 Lanvale Dr Suite A, Webster Groves, MO 63119, USA
(314) 972-2233Chad was professional and prompt. He was a good communicator and included me in the service of my basement drain. By watching the camera in the line I could see for myself exactly what was going on. I will call him next time we have a plumbing issue.
2 months agoArch City Drain and Plumbing
5936 Garfield Ave, St. Louis, MO 63134, USA
(314) 400-0303If I could give 10 stars, I would. Chris came out and changed the anode rod on my water heater, and boy, did it need it! Very professional and knowledgeable. Didn't try to rip me off, but explained what was needed and offered a reasonable price. Very grateful to have found this great company and will put them on my favorites list in my phone for all drain and plumbing needs.
1 month agoHigh recommend working with Arch. Chris was personable, thoughtful, and thorough with his work. Not only was he willing and able to do the work we called him out for (a frozen drain pipe for our laundry room) he suggested, and then completed, additional measures to help further prevent our issue and improve our whole laundry room for more winters to come! Working with Arch felt like that "I got a guy for that" experience every home owner dreams of and I'll be calling them first next time.
1 month agoI called on them for service and they didn’t hesitate making an appointment the next morning bright and early. The tech came out and was very attentive to my explanation of what was happening. Within the same hour the issue was resolved to my satisfaction. I am leaving a 5 star review as I believe this issue has been t
1 month agoMr. Rooter Plumbing of St. Louis
1564 Fencorp Dr, Fenton, MO 63026, USA
(314) 665-2157Kirkwood Plumbing / Mr. Rooter came out promptly to repair our failed lateral line right before Christmas. They moved quickly to restore functional sewage drainage and had us in working order for the holiday. Very professional and extremely efficient. I would hire them again. Photo is prior to inspection, backfill and concrete.
2 months agoI was extremely happy with the service I received and Bradley, was exceptional. Explained everything and pricing. Since I am I member, the service call was waived, even on a Saturday. I’m installing a new washer and the faucets were leaking and they needed to be repaired ASAP in order to prevent any further damage. I called on a Friday night and they were here on Saturday. The pricing was fair and I am very happy with the service. I am so glad I became a member.
4 months agoThis was my second time using Mr. Rooter for plumbing and it reminded me of why I thought to use them again. From scheduling to the completion of the work, everything was so simple. Michael communicated well that he was on his way am throughout the whole process. He walked through multiple options for the completion of the work and what worked best for my current and future goals with my house. Great experience!
1 month agoRoot a Way Plumbing Drain & Sewer Cleaning
12930 Olive Blvd, Creve Coeur, MO 63141, USA
We were not in a good place after a sewer line blockage had our basement drain belching up all kinds of unspeakable things. Another company we called wasn’t able to work us in, but they recommended Steve, and said he was experienced, honest, and fair. That was exactly the case! He worked us in quickly, fixed our sewage blockage in less than an hour, didn’t throw a lot of extra things in to boost the cost, and charged a VERY reasonable price. Very friendly and explained everything he was doing so that I…a new, first-time homebuyer…could learn more about our house’s system. With an older house in the city—there are a lot of quirks! Steve wasn’t deterred. We would 100% call him again and will recommend him to friends and neighbors.
3 months agoHad an issue with a basement flooding from recent torrential rain and stopped up main sewer line. Root Away came recommended by a plumber that I used and his recommendation was right on. Steve responded quickly promptly went to work and quickly diagnosed the issue and had it resolved in short order and we are back in business. He will get my recommendation and referrals! Kudos for a job well done! Thanks Steve Prompt-Friendly-Knowledgeable and Would Highly recommend!!
1 year agoSteve came by on a Friday afternoon and worked me in last minute. Worked diligently to clean the drain. Couldn't get it, explained why and made referrals for a company with different equipment. I would not hesitate to call him again and will likely have him come out annually. Top notch service. After Steve left, he called me a said he would be back Saturday morning. He remembered he had a cutter that he thought would work. Well it did! Class Act. I give 10 stars if I could. Thanks again Steve!
1 year agoPlumbing Masters
11012 Lin Valle Dr Suite K, St. Louis, MO 63123, USA
(314) 200-3000We just needed routine sewer cabling so we thought we would give Plumbing Masters a call as a neighbor had recommended them. They were really quick to fit us in their schedule. Our tech, Jared arrived right on time. He was very pleasant as we talked over what we needed done. He gave us a quote and got right to the job. Luckily we did not have any major issues. He was great to work with and even gave us a few tips on our to keep our drains clear. It was a great experience and I would highly recommend them.
3 months agoFast response. Got my clog cleared and tech on site was able to schedule me for a scope later in the week. They came back a few days later and were able to email me my scope video. Tech mentioned the office is knowledgeable in working with cities when pipe needs to be replaced (like my situation), ‘looking forward’ to diving into that next and getting my pipes fixed. Thank you!
2 months agoThis company is truly remarkable. When my natural gas went out, I was informed that I needed to replace the pipes in my crawl space. After calling ten different plumbers, all of whom declined the job because of the muddy conditions, my eleventh call was to Plumbing Master. They were a lifesaver, assuring me they would restore my gas after a week without hot water. The most commendable companies are those that honor their commitments. From now on, Plumbing Master’s will be the only plumber I use in Saint Louis. They genuinely care, listen attentively, and treat your home as if it were their own.

It’s the fastest, most reliable way to get your pipes flowing again without the hassle of endless searching or waiting on hold.
Common Drain Issues in St. Louis
Tree Root Intrusion: St. Louis is famous for its lush canopy of mature oaks and maples. While beautiful, these roots often find their way into aging sewer lines, causing persistent backups that require professional auguring or hydro-jetting.
Historic Piping Issues: Many homes in neighborhoods like Tower Grove or the Central West End still feature original clay or cast iron pipes. These materials are prone to scaling, corrosion, and structural failure over decades of use.
Mineral Buildup: The local water supply can lead to calcium and mineral deposits inside pipes, gradually narrowing the passage for waste and causing frequent slow drains in kitchen sinks and bathtubs.
Heavy Rain Backups: Intense Midwestern thunderstorms can quickly overwhelm residential storm drains and basement floor drains, leading to messy backups during the spring and summer rainy seasons.
Seasonal Drain Maintenance Tips for St. Louis
Spring: Clear out your gutters and check your basement floor drains before the heavy Missouri spring rains arrive to prevent basement flooding.
Summer: With increased humidity and frequent lawn maintenance, ensure your outdoor area drains are clear of grass clippings and debris that can cause localized flooding.
Fall: As the leaves drop across the Gateway City, keep them away from your external drain grates to prevent clogs in your home's perimeter drainage system.
Winter: Before the first St. Louis hard freeze, disconnect all garden hoses and ensure any exposed pipes in unheated areas are insulated to prevent pressure-related bursts.
Average Drain Cleaning Costs in St. Louis
Pricing in St. Louis typically depends on the severity of the clog, the location of the blockage (main line vs. branch line), and the technology required, such as traditional snaking or high-pressure hydro-jetting.
