Connecticut Sewer Rooter & Drain Cleaning
150 Colony St, Stratford, CT 06615, USA
(203) 395-8749I called at 8:00 AM with a septic emergency, and Tim and his son Tray were at my house by 9:00 AM. They were professional, honest, and incredibly efficient. They explained everything clearly and handled the situation quickly. In a stressful moment, they were calm and reliable. I truly appreciated their responsiveness and integrity. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone needing septic or sewer service.
3 months agoWe texted early morning and they arrived at 9am to help with our kitchen sink clog. Tim was very kind and knowledgeable. Prices were reasonable. We’re thankful for their quick response and help.
5 months agoExcellent Service – Highly Recommend! I had a major plumbing issue with 2 out of 3 bathrooms backed up. I contacted CT Sewer Rooter & Drain and spoke with Tim. The very next day, his son Tre came out and handled the job with professionalism and care. They worked hard, were respectful, and got the job done right. The service was fast, affordable (yes—Tim gave me a discount!), and they were super friendly throughout the whole process. I’m 100% confident they’ll take great care of anyone who calls. If you’re looking for reliable and honest plumbers, I highly recommend Tim and Tre!

11 Crestway, Hamden, CT 06514, USA
(203) 823-8992Rob was wonderful to work with! We had him check our water heater, and repair a leaky old tub faucet for us. Service was professional and personable. Our faucet was repaired quickly and efficiently. I will definitely be calling Drain Wizard when our water pump heater will need to be replaced. He also gave us a lot of great advice and showed how knowledgable he is about the setups in these old houses on our side of town.
4 months agoI highly recommend Drain Wizard to anyone who needs a great plumber! Recently we had an emergency: our sewer main got clogged, the toilet overflowed and the basement was flooded with sewer water. We discovered the problem at 3 am. I called Drain Wizard and they came right away. They got rid of the clog and immediately arranged for the remediation company to drain water from our basement, remove the damaged flooring and clean everything up. Most importantly, they identified the source of the problem (the collapsed house trap and old corroded cast iron pipes) and fixed it. The team is very knowledgeable and professional. They are very responsive and very easy to work with, the invoicing and payment is straightforward and the prices are fair and reasonable. It was a pleasure working with them, I cannot recommend them enough!
4 months agoAwesome service! Great to work with and professional. We had been having issues with our pressure regulator and various other valves after moving in. Went through a couple plumbers before finding Drain Wizard Plumbing. Thanks to them it is finally fixed right and we aren’t stressed about it! Definitely going to them first in the future.
5 months agoDaffodil Plumbing
930 Old Colony Rd, Meriden, CT 06451, USA
(203) 427-8932I noticed the upstairs shower was leaking into the lower level of the house around 8pm one night.. Of course, I freak out. Who can I call at 8pm!!?!? So im googling 24 hour plumbers in my area and notice daffodil. I had called them a few months ago to unclog a kitchen drain. I remember them being super nice. So I call. Its past 8pm at this point, The office person picks right up and scheduled me for the next morning! I thought for sure id have to wait a day or two since it wasnt an emergency! Nope! They got me in the very next morning!!!! The plumber, Mike, got to my house in the time window the office game me. He was the nicest man. We actually had a lot of fun chatting while he was at my house. He was personable and understanding. He identified where the leak was coming from and gave me multiple options and price points for the services that would need to be done. He was able to do it all that same day! This guy is a LEGEND!!!!! Cutting dry wall, removing corroded pipes from the 1970s, replacing all the shower fixtures and even swept up the dust with a broom for me!!! Seriously, what plumber even does that!? 🤣❤️ It was the least emotionally invasive plumber experience ive ever had. It just felt like I had a long time family friend helping out upstairs! 20/10! 100% recommend! Mike is THE BEST! the price for everything was extremely reasonable as well! Ill honestly only ever call Daffodil from now on!
3 months agoSo appreciative of the prompt above and beyond care and service we received from Mike M and Daffodil Plumbing associates. We live out of state and were trying to assist a family member in CT who had no water for several days due to frozen pipes. This coincided with a huge winter snow storm and sub-zero temperatures where outdoor work was required. Starting with my initial inquiry everyone I spoke with listened well and were very kind and understanding of our situation. They set clear expectations on when the technicians would arrive and we were notified when they were on route. Mike M was very knowledgeable and after locating the problem area he provided us different options on how best to fix it. He was very patient and spent time explaining all of it to us via phone and photos and also to our family member. He was quite empathetic of our distance situation and really seemed to care. You can’t train that! The best plumbing experience we’ve ever had! If you want 5 star plumbing service, call them! Thanks again from NH Mike!
4 months agoNeeded a new water heater, and on the same day I called Daffodil, they did an estimate, removed the old water heater, and replaced it with a new one! I wish had contacted these guys sooner for all my previous plumbing needs, top notch!

(203) 626-1246Mike and John came to our home for an emergency situation and unclogged and descaled our main pipe. Their pricing was so fair and the quality of work was amazing. Would highly recommend this company and will be saving their card for future plumbing needs.
1 year agoThese guys came out in the middle of the night and I'm talking 11: 30 PM/12:00 AM, to help us with a leaking washing machine. They got the job done fast, my dog got a ton of love and attention, and they were completely reasonable for an emergency call. Everything is working perfectly! I'm truly grateful.
7 months agoMy sink has been an issue for weeks and I called after hours and had Mike and John on site within 2 hours. Everything is resolved and I couldn’t recommend more!
3 months agoCall The Plumber LLC
699 Booth Hill Rd, Trumbull, CT 06611, USA
(203) 767-5639Jason is a life-saver. We had a main-line clog on Christmas Day that caused a backup and leak down into our basement. Jason showed up within 15 minutes, and quickly determined that the sewer line had collapsed right outside of our foundation. He was back a day later with an excavator and quickly resolved the issue within a few hours, for a reasonable price. Not only did he do an excellent job with the work needed to replace the line, he took great care to leave the landscaping in a better state than it was before he came. We can't thank Jason enough for his quick help, open communication and professionalism. Will be going to him for all plumbing issues in the future without question.
1 year agoCall the Plumber was exceptional from start to finish. They responded immediately to our call on a Saturday morning, and Sean arrived at our door within an hour. Sean was friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain each step before proceeding. We felt completely confident in his expertise throughout the entire process. The pricing was very reasonable as well. I highly recommend Call the Plumber and will absolutely use them again. Thank you for being there when we needed help!
4 months agoMy toilet's base was leaking and needed the wax ring replaced asap. Jason was able to send Sean to our house within 24 hrs of me reaching out. He was professional, efficient, and resolved the issue in under an hour. Will definitely recommend to others!
9 months agoMr. Rooter Plumbing of Southern Fairfield County
194 Leavenworth Rd J, Shelton, CT 06484, USA
(203) 242-7106We are new to Connecticut and are happy to have found Augie/Mr. Rooter. He was easy to communicate with, answered all our questions, and gave us a fair price. We had him hook us up to the town sewer and crush our septic tank. His crew was professional and they got the work done in 1 1/2 days. We thought we would have been left with a mess in our yard but even our neighbors mentioned how nicely they cleaned up after themselves. We highly recommend!
1 year agoIf you have a plumbing emergency, do not hesitate to call these guys. We came home from work one day last month to find we had no water. After talking and working with a few people over a couple weeks, we called Augie at Mr. Rooter. He spent time on the phone with us (on a Sunday) and came out to our house on 2 separate occasions (one time during a snow storm). Augie and his crew were extremely professional, kind, and efficient. He assessed the situation and did what needed to be done to get our water back. It was a tricky situation but they handled it!!! Honestly, after 16 days of no water, I call him our hero. I would highly, highly recommend this company 100 times over. They genuinely want to help their customers, and are very reasonable. -Meg and Barry
3 months agoStop Searching. Call Mr. Rooter of Fairfield County. If you’re dealing with a plumbing emergency and debating who to call—end the search now. Mr. Rooter is the team you want, and Augie and Joe are the reason why. During the worst of the Connecticut deep freeze, they responded fast to a frozen-pipe emergency for my tenants. This wasn’t a quick patch job. They spent two full days methodically diagnosing the issue, opening walls where necessary, and fixing it the right way. They also clearly explained long-term solutions so it doesn’t happen again. The pricing was more than fair—and here’s the part that should make you pick up the phone: they handled another major plumbing issue during the same visit that I had been quoted $6,000 for elsewhere, and it was included in the service. No upsell. No pressure. Just honest work. What truly sets them apart is reliability and care. I called the office Sunday night after hours in the middle of the freeze and received a personal call back. Even though they were booked, they were willing to come out that night if it became critical. That level of commitment is rare. I’ve worked with Mr. Rooter of Fairfield County for years, and the service is always elite. At this point, it feels less like calling a plumbing company and more like calling trusted friends who happen to be absolute experts. If you want fast response, real solutions, fair pricing, and peace of mind—stop looking and call Mr. Rooter of Fairfield County.
4 months agoLeak Off Plumbing & Heating
54 Glendale Ave, Bridgeport, CT 06606, USA
(203) 395-0622Leak Off Plumbing did an excellent job fixing the leak and clearing the clog in our kitchen sink. They were professional, efficient, and took the time to clearly explain everything. Not only did they resolve the issue, but they also provided helpful tips on how to properly maintain our sink and prevent future problems. Great service, clear communication, and outstanding results. 10/10 would recommend Leak Off Plumbing!
3 months agoI used LeakOff to install a brand-new heat pump I sourced separately, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. First, the cost: I ran a full RFQ process, and their pricing was among the most reasonable. You may need to be a bit flexible with scheduling, but the quality of service more than makes up for it. The people make the difference: Diego adds a personal touch that’s rare these days—he genuinely cares. My installer was Nelson, quite the character in the best way. One of those old-school service pros who'll regale you with colorful stories while getting the job done right. The work: The team was committed from start to finish and delivered solid, professional work. I was hands-on throughout the process (because that’s just how I am), but honestly, I didn’t need to be—this team knows what they’re doing. Bottom line: I highly, highly recommend LeakOff. People who know me know I’m a tough judge of character and expect a lot from service providers. I don’t think that’s unreasonable—I hold myself to the same standard professionally. Sadly, in today’s America, good service is becoming rare. LeakOff proves not all is lost. They stand by their work and show that the exception to the rule is worth the time it takes to find. I won't use anyone else for my future installs. Seriously—don’t think twice. Call LeakOff, ask for Diego, and get your HVAC project scheduled. Make yourself a drink, kick back, and enjoy your day. They've got it handled.
6 months agoDiego and his team were phenomenal. I've recently moved to the area and found Leak Off Plumbing & Heating through an AI search for a snaking of a bathtub pipe last month. For that project Diego was communicative, and they came out quickly and resolved the issue on their first visit. Then last week I had another - and unrelated - plumbing issue in a different bathroom. Diego responded quickly and kindly squeezed me in the following day. He kept me updated on timing via text, and he and his team arrived on time and provided excellent service from start to end. This included a replacement toilet, which they went out and picked up. The price was reasonable and more than fair, and the finished work was excellent. I couldn't ask for more. Will definitely use Diego and his team again.

(203) 243-3472Steve came out to fix a drain pipe that was leaking over my furnace. He was able to cut the pipe and pull it out without having to move the furnace. Extremely professional and kind. Came to the rescue quickly and the price was unbeatable. I highly recommend Steve for any plumbing job.
5 months agoSteve came highly recommended by our contractor after we noticed some water in our mechanical room surrounding our hot water heater and furnace. I called Steve at 3:27 PM and by 445 PM he was at our door with a new tank ready to install. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and easy to converse with. We will definitely keep him as our go to and will be recommending him to anyone in need of a trusted, fast and reliable plumber.
6 months agoSteve provided top-notch service installing our new water heater. Highly recommend this reliable pro! Thank you Steve.
5 months agoJDH Plumbing & Heating
424 Longmeadow Rd, Orange, CT 06477, USA
(203) 494-6677I’ve been a Realtor for over three decades and work with a lot of contractors, so I know how valuable it is to find someone reliable. JDH Plumbing & Heating has been absolutely outstanding. Their service is extremely prompt, professional, and dependable—exactly what you want when a plumbing issue comes up. I’ve used them personally and have also started referring them to my clients with complete confidence. It’s great to finally have a plumber I know will take excellent care of the people I send their way. Highly recommend JDH Plumbing & Heating!
3 months agoJeremy at JDH Plumbing & Heating is exceptional. He showed up on a Saturday in under two hours and replaced my water heater in well under an hour, despite it being in a very tight boiler room that required cutting into a wall. Calm, efficient, and clearly highly skilled. He installed a quality unit with a 6-year warranty, worked cleanly, and handled everything with total professionalism. This is the kind of service you hope for but rarely get. Highly recommend.
5 months agoI would highly recommend JDH! Super nice, texted me when he arrived and very easy to talk to. Kept his work space clean in my bathroom and did a great job fixing my toilet. Pricing was very reasonable compared to most plumbing companies. I would hire again!
4 months agoBertola Plumbing & Heating
90 Fresh Meadow Dr, Trumbull, CT 06611, USA
(203) 520-4818Steven and Brandon just finished up a couple of jobs that I had been putting off for a few years. They actually made the whole process unexpectedly easy and painless. Steven is amazingly quick to return texts and phone calls, a pleasant surprise these days. I'm actually willing to pay more for that kind of service but his rates are of course competitive. We discussed the issues, he gave me options and the work was exemplary. They were quick and efficient and cleaned up very nicely after all was done. I feel comfortable recommending them to anyone.
3 months agoVery pleased with Bertola! Had them come in a few weeks ago to put in a water tank which involved combining 2 existing hot water systems into 1. Has worked perfectly since and looking forward to having them back for more work!
4 months agoQuick to respond but extremely rude and overly confident. Refused to respect my house and take off his shoes, use boot covers or allow me the time to put something down for him to walk on. I called for a simple problem(reversed hot/cold water) and even gave him the solution which I found on the internet (to turn the shower cartridge upside down). Instead of doing what I suggested, he decided it was best to replace my current cartridge with a new one and inserted it the same exact way. Before he proceeded to do this I asked him if it would fix the problem and he didn't know the answer. When it didn't fix the problem he told me I had to open the wall to fix the problem. He suggested I pay him $100 for a service call and then to open the wall would be another $240. He left and I paid him his money although he did not earn a dollar. I decided to do the job myself before calling a different plumber to open the wall if that what was actually needed. So I ordered the removal tool on amazon and a few days later I found the time to take the cartridge out myself and turn it upside down and it fixed my problem. When I contacted Stephen for a refund, he ignored me. So to summarize - He showed up within 1 hr of calling, disrespected my house, was rude, didn't know how to diagnose or fix the problem - just guessed and guessed wrong at my expense, charged me $100, for absolutley doing nothing to help my situation. Quite frankly, I would never call this guy back. Borderline SCAM and he brings is dog around to poop in your lawn and most likely won't pick up the poop either. Zero stars.
3 months agoProfessional Drain Cleaning in Shelton, Connecticut
Finding a reliable plumber in Shelton shouldn't feel like a chore, especially when you're dealing with a backed-up sink or a flooded basement. Whether you live in a historic home near the downtown riverfront or a modern colonial in the Huntington area, plumbing issues require immediate attention. Our service simplifies the process by specifically filtering our network of certified professionals by your Shelton zip code to ensure you get a local expert who knows the area's unique infrastructure.
We go a step further than traditional directories. Instead of giving you a list of numbers to call, we proactively verify which technicians are actually available for a 24-hour dispatch. We confirm their availability for your specific drain emergency before you even talk to them, saving you the frustration of hearing 'we're busy' over and over again. From the quiet suburban streets near Indian Well State Park to the bustling commercial corridors, we ensure Shelton residents get the priority service they deserve.
Common Drain Issues in Shelton, Connecticut
Older homes near the downtown Shelton area often feature aging clay or cast-iron sewer lines. Over time, these pipes can develop cracks or become susceptible to significant scale buildup, leading to recurring slow drains that require professional hydro-jetting to clear properly.
In the more wooded, residential sections of Shelton, tree root intrusion is a frequent culprit for sewer backups. The lush Connecticut landscape means thirsty roots can find their way into tiny pipe fissures, eventually creating a complete blockage that requires specialized equipment to remove without digging up your yard.
Shelton's water supply can sometimes lead to mineral deposits and hard water scale within your home's internal plumbing. This buildup, combined with soap scum, creates a 'sludge' in bathroom drains that is difficult to clear with over-the-counter chemicals and often necessitates a professional power-augering.
With the growth of new residential developments in Fairfield County, we see many kitchen clogs caused by high-volume food preparation. Fats, oils, and grease (FOG) cooling in the pipes can lead to stubborn obstructions that require professional intervention to prevent permanent damage to your home’s drainage system.
Seasonal Drain Maintenance Tips for Shelton, Connecticut
Spring Thaw Prep: As the Connecticut snow melts, ensure your basement floor drains and sump pumps are clear of debris. Shelton's spring rains can lead to rapid runoff, and a clogged drain can quickly result in a damp basement.
Summer Maintenance: With more outdoor activity and gardening, be mindful of what goes down your utility sinks. Dirt and silt from cleaning garden tools can settle in traps, leading to heavy clogs during the peak of the summer season.
Autumn Leaf Management: Before the first frost, ensure your outdoor area drains and gutter downspouts are clear of fallen leaves. Shelton's heavy foliage can easily block external drainage systems, causing water to pool near your foundation.
Winter Pipe Protection: During extreme CT cold snaps, keep your indoor drains flowing by ensuring your home's heat reaches areas with plumbing. A slow drain is more likely to freeze solid in the winter, turning a minor clog into a major pipe burst emergency.
Average Drain Cleaning Costs in Shelton, Connecticut
The cost of drain cleaning in Shelton typically ranges from $175 for a standard sink or tub snake to $450 for complex sewer main blockages or hydro-jetting services. Factors influencing the final price include the location of the clog, the need for video camera inspection, and whether the service is requested after-hours or on a holiday.
