Connecticut Sewer Rooter & Drain Cleaning
150 Colony St, Stratford, CT 06615, USA
(203) 395-8749I called at 8:00 AM with a septic emergency, and Tim and his son Tray were at my house by 9:00 AM. They were professional, honest, and incredibly efficient. They explained everything clearly and handled the situation quickly. In a stressful moment, they were calm and reliable. I truly appreciated their responsiveness and integrity. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone needing septic or sewer service.
3 weeks agoWe texted early morning and they arrived at 9am to help with our kitchen sink clog. Tim was very kind and knowledgeable. Prices were reasonable. We’re thankful for their quick response and help.
2 months agoExcellent Service – Highly Recommend! I had a major plumbing issue with 2 out of 3 bathrooms backed up. I contacted CT Sewer Rooter & Drain and spoke with Tim. The very next day, his son Tre came out and handled the job with professionalism and care. They worked hard, were respectful, and got the job done right. The service was fast, affordable (yes—Tim gave me a discount!), and they were super friendly throughout the whole process. I’m 100% confident they’ll take great care of anyone who calls. If you’re looking for reliable and honest plumbers, I highly recommend Tim and Tre!
8 months agoDrain Wizard Plumbing
11 Crestway, Hamden, CT 06514, USA
(203) 823-8992Rob was wonderful to work with! We had him check our water heater, and repair a leaky old tub faucet for us. Service was professional and personable. Our faucet was repaired quickly and efficiently. I will definitely be calling Drain Wizard when our water pump heater will need to be replaced. He also gave us a lot of great advice and showed how knowledgable he is about the setups in these old houses on our side of town.
1 month agoWe have worked with Drain Wizard a few times now and it has always been a great experience. They are responsive, thorough, and take time to explain things to ensure we understand both the work that will be done and why it is necessary. We will definitely continue to utilize Drain Wizard going forward!
1 month agoI highly recommend Drain Wizard to anyone who needs a great plumber! Recently we had an emergency: our sewer main got clogged, the toilet overflowed and the basement was flooded with sewer water. We discovered the problem at 3 am. I called Drain Wizard and they came right away. They got rid of the clog and immediately arranged for the remediation company to drain water from our basement, remove the damaged flooring and clean everything up. Most importantly, they identified the source of the problem (the collapsed house trap and old corroded cast iron pipes) and fixed it. The team is very knowledgeable and professional. They are very responsive and very easy to work with, the invoicing and payment is straightforward and the prices are fair and reasonable. It was a pleasure working with them, I cannot recommend them enough!

1 year agoCall The Plumber LLC
699 Booth Hill Rd, Trumbull, CT 06611, USA
(203) 767-5639Jason is a life-saver. We had a main-line clog on Christmas Day that caused a backup and leak down into our basement. Jason showed up within 15 minutes, and quickly determined that the sewer line had collapsed right outside of our foundation. He was back a day later with an excavator and quickly resolved the issue within a few hours, for a reasonable price. Not only did he do an excellent job with the work needed to replace the line, he took great care to leave the landscaping in a better state than it was before he came. We can't thank Jason enough for his quick help, open communication and professionalism. Will be going to him for all plumbing issues in the future without question.
1 year agoCall the Plumber was exceptional from start to finish. They responded immediately to our call on a Saturday morning, and Sean arrived at our door within an hour. Sean was friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain each step before proceeding. We felt completely confident in his expertise throughout the entire process. The pricing was very reasonable as well. I highly recommend Call the Plumber and will absolutely use them again. Thank you for being there when we needed help!

6 months agoMr. Rooter Plumbing of Southern Fairfield County
194 Leavenworth Rd J, Shelton, CT 06484, USA
(203) 242-7106We are new to Connecticut and are happy to have found Augie/Mr. Rooter. He was easy to communicate with, answered all our questions, and gave us a fair price. We had him hook us up to the town sewer and crush our septic tank. His crew was professional and they got the work done in 1 1/2 days. We thought we would have been left with a mess in our yard but even our neighbors mentioned how nicely they cleaned up after themselves. We highly recommend!
11 months agoStop Searching. Call Mr. Rooter of Fairfield County. If you’re dealing with a plumbing emergency and debating who to call—end the search now. Mr. Rooter is the team you want, and Augie and Joe are the reason why. During the worst of the Connecticut deep freeze, they responded fast to a frozen-pipe emergency for my tenants. This wasn’t a quick patch job. They spent two full days methodically diagnosing the issue, opening walls where necessary, and fixing it the right way. They also clearly explained long-term solutions so it doesn’t happen again. The pricing was more than fair—and here’s the part that should make you pick up the phone: they handled another major plumbing issue during the same visit that I had been quoted $6,000 for elsewhere, and it was included in the service. No upsell. No pressure. Just honest work. What truly sets them apart is reliability and care. I called the office Sunday night after hours in the middle of the freeze and received a personal call back. Even though they were booked, they were willing to come out that night if it became critical. That level of commitment is rare. I’ve worked with Mr. Rooter of Fairfield County for years, and the service is always elite. At this point, it feels less like calling a plumbing company and more like calling trusted friends who happen to be absolute experts. If you want fast response, real solutions, fair pricing, and peace of mind—stop looking and call Mr. Rooter of Fairfield County.
1 month agoWe called Mr. Rooter upon discovering a water line to our bathroom had frozen in recent subzero temps, hoping to avoid a burst pipe and damage. They took our call right away and quickly connected us to Augie, who was busy assisting others in a similar situation but nevertheless took time to talk to us on the phone and walk us through how we could address our situation immediately. We were so impressed with his communication, follow up, and genuine desire to help. With his help we were thawed and no damage done. Thank you, Augie and Mr. Rooter!
1 month agoAtomic Rooter Plumbing Sewer & Drain Cleaning
2 Prospect St, Norwalk, CT 06850, USA
(203) 855-1977Steve just got a lifelong client! I spoke to him after Rotor-Rooter came out to snake the main line from the house to the street. I wish I had been called Atomic first! Rotor-Rooter spent more time pitching me "water mitigation" and other services that I definitely didn't need. They eventually told me they could fix the issue for $8K! I called Atomic for a 2nd opinion. Steve came out and not only eased my stress confirming that the work didn't need to be done ASAP but also quoted HALF the price. Clearly, there are still some companies out there that are not trying to oversell services and overcharge clients. I'm glad I found Atomic & will be using them going forward.
1 year agoSteve, the owner, brought my beloved old kitchen faucet back to life! I thought I was going to have to find a new one, but he changed several key malfunctioning parts and fixed it - just like magic! He also determined that the master bath toilet seemed to move slightly because the floor is uneven. After placing a shim underneath it now feels solid and sits perfectly on the floor. Steve is professional and a great problem solver. He works cleanly and efficiently. I would recommend him to family and friends in a heartbeat.
2 weeks agoCalled Atomic Rooter based on a recommendation from a friend. We were not disappointed. Steve came out and quickly evaluated what needed to be done, quoted a fair price, and went to work very quickly. His crew was professional and friendly. Highly recommend Atomic Rooter.

(203) 243-3472Steve came out to fix a drain pipe that was leaking over my furnace. He was able to cut the pipe and pull it out without having to move the furnace. Extremely professional and kind. Came to the rescue quickly and the price was unbeatable. I highly recommend Steve for any plumbing job.
2 months agoSteve came highly recommended by our contractor after we noticed some water in our mechanical room surrounding our hot water heater and furnace. I called Steve at 3:27 PM and by 445 PM he was at our door with a new tank ready to install. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and easy to converse with. We will definitely keep him as our go to and will be recommending him to anyone in need of a trusted, fast and reliable plumber.
3 months agoSteve provided top-notch service installing our new water heater. Highly recommend this reliable pro! Thank you Steve.
2 months agoLeak Off Plumbing & Heating
54 Glendale Ave, Bridgeport, CT 06606, USA
(929) 689-1781Diego and his team were phenomenal. I've recently moved to the area and found Leak Off Plumbing & Heating through an AI search for a snaking of a bathtub pipe last month. For that project Diego was communicative, and they came out quickly and resolved the issue on their first visit. Then last week I had another - and unrelated - plumbing issue in a different bathroom. Diego responded quickly and kindly squeezed me in the following day. He kept me updated on timing via text, and he and his team arrived on time and provided excellent service from start to end. This included a replacement toilet, which they went out and picked up. The price was reasonable and more than fair, and the finished work was excellent. I couldn't ask for more. Will definitely use Diego and his team again.
3 weeks agoI highly recommend Leak Off Plumbing. After spending money on some not-so-quality tradesman to fix a leak in our basement, I was frantically searching for a professional to help and Leak Off was very helpful. Diego came out to give an estimate for free and was able to quickly identify the issue we were dealing with, a corroded pipe. He provided us with different options which worked with our budget: 1) replacing a section of the pipe with PVC or Copper 2) replacing the full length of our pipe with PVC or Copper. We chose to replace a section of the pipe, and they showed up in the morning around 8AM and were done early in the afternoon. We definitely will be repeat customers of Leak Off Plumbing
2 months agoGreat experience with Diego and his crew. We had a water heater issue that my plumber was unable to evaluate for several days. Diego came the next day, ordered the necessary parts and returned on a holiday to make the repair.
2 weeks agoGrimm’s Plumbing Services LLC
Harriet St, Norwalk, CT 06851, USA
(203) 505-2751Zach Grimm was referred to us by Andersen Septic to help solve a specific septic gas leak issue, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. His responsiveness and professionalism were outstanding from start to finish. Most importantly, he was able to diagnose and resolve a problem that no one else had been able to fix for the past three years. We’re incredibly grateful and would highly recommend Zach to anyone needing a knowledgeable and reliable plumber.
1 month agoZach was fantastic! He fit me in to his schedule on a busy day and was so wonderful to work with. He also helped out with a couple of plumbing annoyances that I’ve dealt with for years. Very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Highly recommend!

1 month agoBertola Plumbing & Heating
90 Fresh Meadow Dr, Trumbull, CT 06611, USA
(203) 520-4818Steven and Brandon just finished up a couple of jobs that I had been putting off for a few years. They actually made the whole process unexpectedly easy and painless. Steven is amazingly quick to return texts and phone calls, a pleasant surprise these days. I'm actually willing to pay more for that kind of service but his rates are of course competitive. We discussed the issues, he gave me options and the work was exemplary. They were quick and efficient and cleaned up very nicely after all was done. I feel comfortable recommending them to anyone.
2 weeks agoVery pleased with Bertola! Had them come in a few weeks ago to put in a water tank which involved combining 2 existing hot water systems into 1. Has worked perfectly since and looking forward to having them back for more work!
1 month agoVery pleased with Steve and his team. He came out right away to diagnose a hot water tank issue. He quickly was able to establish a service appointment to correct the issue. The hot water tank was in a difficult spot to remove but he managed to come out with a solution ending in the proper removal of the tank and the replacement of a new one. His crew was punctual and cleaned up after the job was completed. Im very satisfied with the work done and i have him on speed dial. Very professional, highly recommended.
2 months agoProfessional Drain Cleaning in Bridgeport
Bridgeport’s unique mix of historic architecture and modern coastal developments means that plumbing systems across the Park City vary significantly. Whether you’re dealing with slow drains in a classic Black Rock home or a sudden backup in a downtown apartment, finding a reliable plumber who is actually available can be a headache. That’s where our specialized service steps in to bridge the gap. Our system eliminates the frustration of calling multiple shops only to find out they are booked for weeks. We don't just provide a list; we actively scan our network of certified professionals specifically within the Bridgeport area. We filter them by your zip code and personally call to confirm they can handle your specific drain issue today, ensuring you get the prompt service that Fairfield County residents expect.
Common Drain Issues in Bridgeport
Historic Pipe Infrastructure: Many homes in Bridgeport, particularly in the North End and West Side, feature original cast iron or clay pipes. These aging materials are prone to internal scaling and corrosion, creating snag points for debris that lead to frequent, stubborn clogs.
Tree Root Intrusion: In established neighborhoods with mature street trees, root systems often infiltrate sewer lines seeking moisture. This is a common cause of main line backups in Bridgeport, requiring professional equipment to clear without damaging the pipes.
Coastal Sand and Silt: Proximity to the Long Island Sound and frequent coastal storms can lead to sand and sediment washing into exterior drainage systems. This extra weight and volume can cause slow-draining exterior lines and basement backups during heavy Connecticut rains.
Kitchen Grease Solidification: With Bridgeport’s cold New England winters, fats, oils, and grease (FOG) poured down the sink solidify much faster inside your pipes. This 'fatberg' effect is a leading cause of emergency kitchen drain calls during the winter months.
Seasonal Drain Maintenance Tips for Bridgeport
Spring: Clear out your outdoor area drains and yard basins. Bridgeport’s heavy spring rains can easily overwhelm a system clogged with fallen leaves from the previous autumn, potentially leading to basement flooding.
Summer: Be careful with what goes down the garbage disposal during backyard BBQ season. Fibrous Connecticut produce like corn husks and celery are notorious for jamming disposals and clogging drains during the humid summer months.
Fall: Schedule a preventative sewer line cleaning before the ground freezes. Clearing out minor root growth in October or November prevents the roots from expanding and causing a total pipe failure during a mid-winter freeze.
Winter: Keep the heat circulating near pipes located on exterior walls. In older Bridgeport multi-family homes, drains can actually freeze internally, causing an 'ice clog' that is difficult to diagnose without professional thermal tools.
Average Drain Cleaning Costs in Bridgeport
Pricing in Bridgeport typically ranges based on the severity and location of the clog. A simple sink or tub snaking starts on the lower end, while main sewer line clearing or hydro-jetting services fall on the higher end due to the specialized equipment required.
