Expert Drain Cleaning in Bristol, CT

Our main drain, which only the kitchen sink flows into and all others go straight to the sewer stack, was clogged. We've called on AR to do this once before - with no issue. Unfortunately this last time they jetted the clog, with no water containment apparatus set up, flooding and destroying our kitchen, dining and living area to the amount of $70K-$80K in damage. Worse, they've have listed us as "persona non grata" stating I was rude to them when I asked "You're really gonna bill me for the work you did?" I'm a reasonable person, have worked in the trades in the past, I know what can happen and go wrong AND we learn from those mistakes. BUT you never accuse the customer of wrong doing, when you've damaged THEIR home. People, if companies DO NOT take responsibility for the work - both good and poor - you shouldn't trust them to do any work. AR you don't need to respond, the insurance company has you down as the cause of damage.

I had water coming out of a floor drain due to a clog. We called American Rooter and they came out within the hour. Our technician Khay was amazing. He was able to quickly remove what was causing the clog. Thank you so much Khay for your amazing quick service. I definitely recommend!

I noticed the upstairs shower was leaking into the lower level of the house around 8pm one night.. Of course, I freak out. Who can I call at 8pm!!?!? So im googling 24 hour plumbers in my area and notice daffodil. I had called them a few months ago to unclog a kitchen drain. I remember them being super nice. So I call. Its past 8pm at this point, The office person picks right up and scheduled me for the next morning! I thought for sure id have to wait a day or two since it wasnt an emergency! Nope! They got me in the very next morning!!!! The plumber, Mike, got to my house in the time window the office game me. He was the nicest man. We actually had a lot of fun chatting while he was at my house. He was personable and understanding. He identified where the leak was coming from and gave me multiple options and price points for the services that would need to be done. He was able to do it all that same day! This guy is a LEGEND!!!!! Cutting dry wall, removing corroded pipes from the 1970s, replacing all the shower fixtures and even swept up the dust with a broom for me!!! Seriously, what plumber even does that!? 🤣❤️ It was the least emotionally invasive plumber experience ive ever had. It just felt like I had a long time family friend helping out upstairs! 20/10! 100% recommend! Mike is THE BEST! the price for everything was extremely reasonable as well! Ill honestly only ever call Daffodil from now on!

So appreciative of the prompt above and beyond care and service we received from Mike M and Daffodil Plumbing associates. We live out of state and were trying to assist a family member in CT who had no water for several days due to frozen pipes. This coincided with a huge winter snow storm and sub-zero temperatures where outdoor work was required. Starting with my initial inquiry everyone I spoke with listened well and were very kind and understanding of our situation. They set clear expectations on when the technicians would arrive and we were notified when they were on route. Mike M was very knowledgeable and after locating the problem area he provided us different options on how best to fix it. He was very patient and spent time explaining all of it to us via phone and photos and also to our family member. He was quite empathetic of our distance situation and really seemed to care. Needed a new water heater, and on the same day I called Daffodil, they did an estimate, removed the old water heater, and replaced it with a new one! I wish had contacted these guys sooner for all my previous plumbing needs, top notch!

For years we have been plagued with slow drains and an intermittent blocked sewer pipe. We have had Roto rooter out in the past and they ran a snake into the drain and opened it up. Unfortunately the drains started slowing again and the sewer blocked again. When I called Drain Medic I spoke with Raphael and explained our situation. He was very familiar with our problem and recommended clearing the main line with a water jet. He explained the snake that Roto rooter ran in the past breaks a hole through the center but doesn’t clear all the soft blockage in the pipe. Raphael told us when he could come and arrived exactly when he said he would. He explained what he could do to unclog the main line and open the drain completely to allow unobstructed sewer flow. He was easy to talk to and fascinating to observe. It’s good peace of mind to know the job was done right. Everything is moving through the line now as it should. NO MORE SLOW DRAINS. Had a blocked Main sewer drain, Called numerous companies and then called Drain Medic (Rafael)and he picked up even while on a job. Told him what the issue was and he said approximately what time he would be there. Was on time even though he was onsite out of state. The plumbers did an outstanding job in my home in New Britain. They showed up right on time and were very professional throughout the whole process. Had a few companies come out to check out my tankless hot water system. Felt like no one knew what they were talking about until Advance Plumbing and Heating. The tech, Toby, was great. Took the time to explain to me all the possible points of failure that could be causing my issue, and explained how he was ruling them out. He was knowledgeable about our system and very nice. Xander was wonderful. Very professional and did a great job! Our fill water valve on our toilet stopped working and we were using buckets to flush. Super annoying to have to do that, so we called escape plumbing and they came and fixed our problem the next day. Showed up on time. When I contacted Master Rooter, for a water heater leak, they responded immediately and a representative, Ben, come to my home promptly to assess. Ben was great: professional, personable, communication wise, explaining everything, and describing the next steps. They worked in a wet, moldy, area without complaint. Richard Brundage and his assistant were very professional, arrived on time and quickly assessed our problem. We had a cracked 4 inch sewer pipe that went from a second floor bathroom to the basement. They were able to remove and replace the pipe and get our bathroom functioning in a short time. It was a pleasure working with them.

Richard came out and very quickly was able to identify that my water heater needed replacement due to corrosion. I have an unusual one and he was able to quickly find the same model new and line up the replacement to happen next day. He was timely, courteous, and a clear communicator. I greatly appreciate the work they did!

There's no such thing as a good time for a plumbing issue. I can tell you how phenomenal he was. Incredible demeanor, polite, well spoken, respectful. Explained everything in the process to me ahead of time. He patiently answered all my questions (I had many questions as a new homeowner) and took care of everything.
