Expert Drain Cleaning in Hartford, Connecticut

For years we have been plagued with slow drains and an intermittent blocked sewer pipe. We have had Roto rooter out in the past and they ran a snake into the drain and opened it up. Unfortunately the drains started slowing again and the sewer blocked again. When I called Drain Medic I spoke with Raphael and explained our situation. He was very familiar with our problem and recommended clearing the main line with a water jet. He explained the snake that Roto rooter ran in the past breaks a hole through the center but doesn’t clear all the soft blockage in the pipe. Raphael told us when he could come and arrived exactly when he said he would. He explained what he could do to unclog the main line and open the drain completely to allow unobstructed sewer flow. He was easy to talk to and fascinating to observe. It’s good peace of mind to know the job was done right. Everything is moving through the line now as it should. NO MORE SLOW DRAINS. Had a blocked Main sewer drain, Called numerous companies and then called Drain Medic (Rafael)and he picked up even while on a job. Told him what the issue was and he said approximately what time he would be there. Was on time even though he was onsite out of state. Very punctual, reasonable in cost compared to other companies i spoke too. looked at job and priced accordingly did not try to upsell any other services. He came to snake my kitchen sink. He checked the pipes. Drained dishwasher when finished. Ran water for a bit. Gave me some information no others had before on products and maintenance. Was very thorough and personable. Really enjoyed speaking with him then prior plumbers. Rates were good rather then others who jacked their rates up just to snake a sink. I definitely recommend them too anyone!

John was extremely helpful in walking me through my different options for my leaking tub. He was able to schedule short notice on a Sunday to get my toilet back online. Great price and kind friendly service.

Bernie was prompt, professional, and very polite. It turned out my plumbing issue was not related to a clogged drain, but he called back twice to see how we made out. It was such a nice gesture by him. I highly recommend Bernie.

Bernie came to try and unclog my basement utility sink drain. He snaked the line 75 feet. He discovered it drains into a dry well and wasn't clogged... Just that the well won't accept any more water. Most plumbers would charge you a base fee just coming to look at it and the labor. Despite his best efforts, Bernie couldn't help me, so he said no charge. A quality professional.

Bernie came out the morning after we called to remove an obstruction from our main sewer line. The whole process was prompt, professional, informative and reasonably priced. We will be calling him for any future drain needs!

Dillon and Mark were great, explaining everything involved. They worked quickly, getting our service up and running by about 1:30pm, even with downtime delays waiting for the water company folks to arrive. Quite pleased.

I've used Joe The Plumber several different times now and always have been very happy with them. They have always been able to come out quicker than they originally said. Which was quick to begin with anyway. The guys have always been polite and extremely clean. They explain everything in detail and make sure it's clear what the issue is and what needs to be done.

Jason checked our sump pump to ensure it was working properly. We knew from neighbors that after a huge snow melt in a previous winter that our basement flooded. As a precaution, we wanted to ensure that our pump was operational. He clearly explained how it works. He tested it and made a minor adjustment. He also suggested we obtain a water alarm for our pump and water heater. He was very professional.

Trying to find a trusted team to work on my recently purchased home was very stressful and consisted of a lot of digging on public reviews. Plumbums caught my eye so I decided to give them a call when I had a new leak from the pressure relief valve on my boiler. I called in and spoke to Susan who was so incredibly kind and helpful. I explained my concerns and she told me she would discuss with Jim (the owner) and get back to me. Within only a couple hours, they called me back to schedule an appointment only a few days later. I had gone into the appointment expecting the worst, a full boiler replacement, being in my future. Jim was on time and also very kind and easy to speak to. I explained my concerns and he took his time examining my 30-year-old system. He had no problems explaining how the system operated and even advised that I have more life in the boiler than I expected! I felt no pressure during the entire experience and didn't feel like I was being upsold or charged for something I didn't need (even though I thought I would!). Jim and Plumbums have definitely been added to my list of go-to companies for any plumbing or heating services I'll need in the future. I'm already planning on a return visit for a water filtration system and more down the road! 5 stars across the board, no questions.

Excellent experience overall - from the quotation process, scheduling and installation. A clear scope of work was provided for my hot water heater replacement. Zach was very professional, punctual and friendly - he answered all of my questions. He also ensured that the work area was left clean and neat. Brett & his team were great! I got connected with him late on a Sunday (it also happened to be Father's day) after coming home to our septic system randomly backing up on us. He was incredibly friendly on the phone, and able to schedule something for the following morning. I recently secured Scott’s services to redo my downstairs bathroom. I had a water leak and needed immediate service which Scott did promptly. He reached out to me every step of the way to let me select my accessories and installed everything I wanted where I wanted it. Great service. Beautiful work putting in my water softener in my old house. Field stone cellar. The guys were incredibly polite, knowledgeable, and just did an amazing job. I had to leave in an emergency and thought I would come home to a TRUE MESS. I was shocked to see they picked up everything, closed all my doors, swept up all debris and even made sure my cat was still in the cellar. It was truly a pleasure to work with these nice young men. Chris from New England Service Company was fantastic. He took his time explaining the plumbing issue and the needed repair. He was very professional and completed the work quickly and neatly. He was also able to provide quotes on some more complex work but did not pressure us to sign up for the repair immediately. We have used several plumbers over the years and Chris is by far the best.

5/31/19 - I used New England Service Company again. This time to install 3 faucets in the main and master bathrooms. Again, Dale did a fantastic job. I really like this company because they communicate with you. They called me a few days before my appointment to let me know they would be at my house a little later than expected. I also recieved a call from the Dale as well regarding the time he would at my house. Excellent customer service. I highly recommend New England Service Company. 3/24/19 - New England Service Company is a great company to work with. I accidently put a nail through a water pipe in my laundry room on Sunday 3/24/19. The company returned my call quickly. Dale came out took a look at the damaged pipe and explained to me what needed to be done. He was very personable and repaired the cracked pipe quickly and there was no mess. If you need a plumber I highly recommend the New England Service Company / Dale.

I had a toilet leak that leaked through the ceiling, which lead me to call New England Service co. The service tech arrived on time and diagnosed the problem quickly. he performed the repair in a timely manner and was very personable. he explained what he did when it was completed and tested out the repair successfully. thank you Dale for your professionalism and recommended steps going forward.
