We contacted Kenco because we needed the floor drains at our facility to be cleaned out. From the start, Paige, Leon and the team were incredibly responsive and informative. They came out to tour the space, asked and answered questions to ensure we were on the same page, and promptly scheduled the work. They arrived as planned and provided professional service at every step. Would highly recommend this company for your plumbing needs!

Same day service for a grease clogged kitchen sink. Very friendly and knowledgeable. I got a detailed verbal report of what they found and how they fixed it. I would use Kenco Plumbing again. They also offer a military and veteran discount. Great job.

I had an emergency call out for an unshutable shower valve with no access to stop it spewing water uncontrollably but to shut my entire home off from the water intake supply valve. Leon came out within 30 mins of my initial call to respond to my needs. Leon did an amazing job. Really tried and used every tool in his power to salvage what he could for the valve to work. Explained through in great detail what my options were. And made me feel very comfortable and confident in my decision for a valve replacement. Very personable and easy to talk to. Showed immense passion for his job and displays amazing work ethic and drive to just be able to help get the crisis taken care of. Would recommend him and all the staff at Kenco Plumbing And Drains to come to your emergent needs or for just routine installation or repairs.

Brian came by to clear a main line that runs to what we believe is a dry well and to unclog our bathroom sink. He was quick to respond and was able to resolve the issue even after being stuck on a tough hospital job all day. I work for a local water treatment and well pump company, and we recommend Brian to our customers regularly. Overall, a great experience—highly recommend.

My plumber recommended Value Rooter to me for a blocked sewer line. They were quick to call me back and were able to fit me into their schedule the same day. The gentleman who came to my house did a great job and he was very professional and pleasant. I would definitely contact them again and recommend them to others.

I was super happy with the service I received. They answered the phone immediately. Let me know when to expect them.. Eric came out and was wonderfully friendly and also very knowledgeable. He answered all my questions and gave me lots of information as he was performing the repairs. He quickly found our septic covers despite a poor drawing from the town and the yard covered in snow.I had a blockage in one of my sewar pipes which he was able to find and clear, I also had him look at a slow toilet that we have had issues with for years which he immediately was able to fix the problem. We had the Septic pumped out at the same time since the tank cover was already dug out and open and was due soon anyway, and they did it in a very expeditious manner. I would definitely recommend and use them again. I also thought the price was fair for what they performed.. Highly rated

I called at 9am to request help with backed up sewer line. Spoke with dispatcher who was incredibly positive. David showed up 30 minutes later from Rooter Man and did an excellent job unplugging my line in a very cramped space. David worked hard and did everything possible to clear my sewer line successfully and remained professional and was extremely hard working. The cost was less than I imagined and was even given a military discount. The reviews got me to call them. Their service will keep me for life and I won't hesitate to refer to my friends. Thanks guys!!

Rooter Man is a terrific service. The company always sends out an experienced field tech and he always get the job done no matter how tough it is. A couple of years ago, we had an impossibly clogged drain and by some miracle, the plumber was able to unclog it at a bare minimum of expense to us. You see, we were in the middle of renovating our kitchen and one of our bathrooms simultaneously, and unfortunately the drywall guys were rinsing all manner of gunky stuff down the drain. Well, Rooter Man was able to clean it all out of there, and we are so grateful. Two years later, the drain is still working like it's brand new. Over the past weekend, I was using a brush to unclog a drain in our other bathroom. Well, it slipped out of my hands and got stuck down in the drain. My spouse and I even got the bright idea to try to open up the drain and remove the brush ourselves. Now that was a really bad idea. So on Monday morning we called Rooter Man and they were able to send field tech Cody E. over in under an hour. Not only did Cody get the brush out for us, he was also able to put the plumbing back together that we had disassembled. And now it's working like new and to tell you the truth, the pipes are fitting together better than they had been fitting before we even touched it. Also while he was here, Cody gave us all types of tips about how to keep the drain clean and he even showed us the proper way to remove the drain stopper so that we wouldn't make the same mistake again. And besides all of that, Cody was a very nice guy who really cared about us as customers, and we really appreciated that. Thanks, Rooter Man, for your prompt and expert service over the years. We really appreciate you and I'm sure we'll be calling you again in the future.

Derek was an excellent person to do the hard work that he did. He was very patient and kept me informed about what he wanted to do. Very knowledgeable about his work. I was very happy when he uncovered both tank covers as well as the Cameron’s driver. I am so happy that I chose Heritage. Thank you very much. Carl and Bev. PS. We had a plugged septic tank that was completely full and nothing was going out to the leach beds. Frozen.

We had our electrical panel replaced by heritage. The next day we woke up to our heat not working. They came back and said they fried the heating control box and replaced it. Before the tech left, we noted half of our house was still without heat. They returned that day and told us it was not due to their work and charged us to correct the issue. We expressed our concern with Todd, the manager, who said it is just a coincidence that this happened after their work and they should not have even replaced the control box for us. The next day, we woke up to the other half of the house being without heat. They informed me they would not be able to come out until Monday, which would leave us without heat for 3 days (this was in March, still freezing temps). I informed them that I would have another company come out to fix the issue and would take them to court. Suddenly they were able to get to us that afternoon. The man who came said we needed new thermostats and replaced them. Todd called back per my request and gave us a refund for the previous days work only after telling him we had planned to have them do our central air but would not do so after this. We received multiple calls after offering us discounts on central air if we did it through them. One of the thermostats then stopped working, needing batteries replaced daily. The man who came stood in my door, explained how batteries work and that its once again not their fault. The thermostat is only being run by battery, despite wires being pushed into the back. My husband asked the tech to leave after he dismissed our frustration and asked what we expected they would do. He said he’d tell his manager to call, which no one did. A week later eversource came to remove an old wire and was unable to complete their work because the original techs had no connected us properly outside. We once again had no power for half a day. I asked the woman at the call desk and the tech who arrived to ask a manager to call me, again, no one did. Throughout this process, I had to miss 3 days of work (as I work from home) that I had not planned to as we either had no electricity or no heat and I had to ensure my young child was not impacted. The only times they responded with urgency or true concern was when a lawsuit was threatened or when we shared we would take our future business elsewhere. I cannot stress enough that they are not deserving of your business or money- wild as I was told one of the managers is actually our neighbor. If they don’t care about people they would easily run into in their own neighborhood, they clearly don’t care generally. *** they say I can call them but wouldn’t it be appropriate to actually call me back since my name is right here? Do what I wish we did, don’t bother with these people.

Nick came out on a Saturday morning because we had no hot water. The price for the weekend visit was almost half what another vendor quoted us. Nick was assigned. He called in advance, called from the driveway, and followed instructions to the letter to access the basement from our bulkhead to avoid a crazy dog. I was impressed with the detailed questions he asked and his diagnostic skills. After his analysis, he presented two options to pursue and was honest and clear about the chances for success for both. I had researched some equipment prices in advance and what he presented was fair. He’ll be back Monday to finish, since parts/equipment aren’t available today. I’d recommend High Ground (the old Sanford) and especially Nick. He’s friendly, respectful, no-nonsense, educates and explains well, and inspires trust in his recommendations.

Eric Ott (HiFiSPIN)

Our main bathroom toilet started leaking at the base, and since our home is on a slab foundation, my concern level went from mild to full homeowner anxiety pretty fast. I am not a plumber, which is exactly why I called P.J. Labrie & Sons. This was the week before Christmas, which made the situation extra festive in all the wrong ways. Their customer service rep was incredibly friendly and even worked to get a technician scheduled for Christmas Eve. She later called back, explained the repair might be more involved, and moved us to the day after Christmas — totally reasonable, and appreciated. Two technicians showed up five minutes early within their one-hour arrival window, which frankly deserves applause. They were friendly, efficient, and in and out in a little over an hour. One of them clearly explained what caused the leak and how they fixed it. Helpful pro tip: if a plumber seals the base of your toilet with caulk, it may be hiding a bad seal. These guys did it right — no caulk, no leaks. Bonus: the toilet no longer rocks when you sit on it. Extra bonus: the invoice came in much lower than expected. Fair pricing, punctual service, no nonsense, and a job done correctly. I highly recommend P.J. Labrie & Sons.

I’ve worked with PJ Labrie & Sons on a couple of projects over the past few years, and they’ve consistently done excellent work. Their crew is professional, courteous, and always on time. They communicate clearly, keep the job site clean, and make sure everything is done the right way. They also handle the annual maintenance on my boiler and air conditioner, and that service has been just as dependable. They show up when scheduled, take the time to inspect everything carefully, and make sure the systems are running efficiently before they leave. I highly recommend PJ Labrie & Sons to anyone looking for dependable, high-quality HVAC and/or plumbing service.

We had a great experience working with Nick and his team this week to replace our AC. From start to finish, the team was professional, respectful, and easy to work with. They arrived on time, worked efficiently, and kept everything clean throughout the process. We really appreciated how careful they were in our home — it’s clear they take pride in their work. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality HVAC service!

Professional Drain Cleaning in Rochester, New Hampshire

In a city like Rochester, known as the Lilac City, home maintenance shouldn't feel like a chore. Whether you are living in a historic home near downtown or a newer build in North Rochester, a clogged drain can disrupt your entire day. Our service takes the guesswork out of finding reliable help by scanning our network of local experts to ensure you get a professional who is ready to work right now.

Traditional search methods often lead to voice mailboxes and 'we're busy' responses. We change that by filtering through the top certified plumbers in the Rochester area and verifying their 24-hour availability specifically for your zip code. We do the calling for you, ensuring that when we provide a recommendation, they are prepared to handle your New Hampshire plumbing needs immediately.

Common Drain Issues in Rochester, New Hampshire

Many Rochester homes feature older plumbing infrastructure that is susceptible to root intrusion. With our lush New Hampshire landscape, tree roots often find their way into aging sewer lines, causing slow drains and localized backups that require professional snaking or hydro-jetting.

Rochester experiences significant groundwater shifts during the spring thaw. This can lead to sediment buildup in basement floor drains, which are essential for preventing flooding. If these drains aren't cleared, homeowners risk significant water damage during heavy New England rainstorms.

Hard water minerals are a common issue in the Strafford County area. Over time, calcium and magnesium deposits can narrow the interior of your pipes, making it easier for hair, soap scum, and grease to create stubborn blockages that store-bought cleaners simply can't dissolve.

With our cold winters, grease and fats poured down kitchen sinks solidify much faster in the pipes. This is a frequent issue for Rochester residents during the holiday season, leading to kitchen sink backups that require high-pressure cleaning to fully restore flow.

Seasonal Drain Maintenance Tips for Rochester, New Hampshire

Before the ground freezes in late autumn, ensure your outdoor drains and gutters are clear of fallen leaves. Clogged exterior drains can lead to ice damming and water backup into your Rochester home's foundation.

During the peak of the Rochester summer, keep an eye on your yard for unusually lush green patches. This often indicates a sewer line leak or a drain line being compromised by tree roots seeking moisture.

After the heavy snowmelt in the spring, test your basement floor drains by pouring a gallon of water down them. If they gurgle or drain slowly, it's time to have them cleared before the rainy season hits New Hampshire in earnest.

Avoid using chemical drain cleaners during the winter months. In older Rochester pipes, these harsh chemicals can sit in the line and cause pipe wall thinning or reactions that are exacerbated by the extreme temperature swings.

Average Drain Cleaning Costs in Rochester, New Hampshire

$175-$475

Prices in Rochester typically range based on the severity of the clog and the equipment required. A simple sink snaking is on the lower end, while main line clearing or hydro-jetting services fall on the higher end of the spectrum.

Frequently Asked Questions about Drain Cleaning in Rochester, New Hampshire

How quickly can I get a plumber to my Rochester home?

Because we call and verify 24-hour availability for Rochester plumbers before connecting you, we can often find a technician who can arrive at your NH property within just a few hours.

Do you cover areas like Gonic and East Rochester?

Yes. Our system filters specifically by zip code, ensuring we find certified plumbers who service all neighborhoods within the Rochester city limits and surrounding Strafford County.

Why shouldn't I just use a liquid drain cleaner?

Many Rochester homes have older metal or thin PVC piping. Chemical cleaners can generate heat and cause damage to these pipes. A professional cleaning is safer and provides a long-term solution rather than a temporary fix.

Are the plumbers in your network licensed for New Hampshire?

Absolutely. We only scan and verify certified plumbers who are fully licensed and insured to perform residential and commercial plumbing work in the state of New Hampshire.

Is emergency drain cleaning available on weekends in Rochester?

Yes. Our service specifically tracks 24/7 availability, so even if your drain overflows on a Sunday morning, we can identify which Rochester plumber is on call and ready to help.
