UPDATE: I was blown away by how quickly this was handled. Fred, the owner, called me first thing the very next morning and couldn’t have been nicer super down to earth, easy to talk to, and truly understanding. He immediately sent out his senior plumber to take care of everything I wanted addressed, and the work was outstanding. Between Fred’s personal attention and the excellent quality of the work, this was an all around fantastic experience. I couldn’t be happier with how the tankless hot water system turned out. Highly recommend them, thank you Fred and team. We had our HVAC and tankless unit installed by MillTown in 2020 as part of a hydronic heating system. A month ago, the commercial‑grade tank they installed failed. Rheem covered the tank under warranty, but MillTown charged $5,800 for the replacement — which was essentially a retrofit with minimal changes. After reviewing the work, it was clear the job should have been closer to $3,000 based on industry standards and actual scope. Unfortunately, the workmanship was disappointing. The system was left in a condition that doesn’t reflect professional standards — including a drain valve positioned against another pipe, making it impossible to drain the system properly. I provided photos and a detailed email to MillTown expressing these concerns. Their response was that there “wasn’t much to do,” and they offered only a $500 credit toward a future service. Given the excessive pricing and the quality of work, a credit for a future service wasn’t a reasonable solution, and I declined it. Another concern: their website offers no way to contact the owner or any managers directly. For a company that presents itself as family‑run, that lack of transparency says a lot. Overall, the experience was frustrating — from the high cost to the poor workmanship to the dismissive response. Originally called for blocked drain pipe to drywell. Took several visits to finally have them run a snake and camera. Determination was frozen pipe and they couldn't do anything about it - leaving me the customer to purchase hose to suck out standing water, blow warm air into pipe, add de-icer liquid and continue snaking the pipe on my own. Total cost was over $1800. The inside connection to the drain pipe was replaced with minimal materials. Overall, I was not satisfied with the result (drain still clogged) and the cost for work performed seems way out of proportion.

Jonathan and Justyn did a hot water heater replacement for us. They showed up on time, were very polite, and did excellent work. We have a slab foundation and our hot water tank is stuffed in the bathroom closet along with our furnace. They had to work in a very small space all day and even had to remove the toilet and closet doors in order to do the installation. Everything was put back cleaner and in better condition than before. They went above and beyond including reconfiguring the piping layout so that in the future, repairs/the next replacement will go even smoother. After installation, they cleaned up and left the space spotless. We are SO happy with the work that was done and the price we paid. We will definitely continue to use MillTown and would request Jonathan and Justyn in the future for any plumbing needs. Can't recommend MillTown enough!

Had an issue come up with one of my bathrooms. Got ahold of Ari and he got here quick, immediately figured out the issue and went to work. Blockage was dealt with inside 20 min and Ari was awesome helping out making sure things were taken care of cleanly and that we were fully cleared. 100% recommend. Make Ari your first call if you ever have any sort of drain issue.

I had a great experience with Ari from Ari’s Pro Drain Cleaning. He’s a genuinely great guy — he cleared my drain quickly and kept me updated the whole time. Ari was referred to me by Hummingbird as the the man for our job! He called me within an hour of reaching out for help. He showed up when he said he would. This plumbing company provided me with a wonderful experience! They responded quickly and promptly when I called them about my blocked shower drain. The team arrived on time, was professional and thorough. They quickly fixed the problem and took time to explain why the clog occurred.

My appointment time was given as between 11-2. Serviceman did not arrive until 3:30. I called to ask about the delayed arrival. I understand things happen but a quick call to let me know about the delays would have been greatly appreciated. David L. has been awesome! Super friendly and very knowledgeable. Great experience with Drains by James for a frozen sewer line. The front office was helpful in getting an emergency repair setup for me. While the fix could not be completed on the emergency call as more specialized equipment was needed, they promptly returned to complete the job. "Say" and the rest of the crew were polite, professional and got the job done. Highly recommended.

After several calls to other companies we were directed us to Drains By James. Our call was immediately answered and they responded the same day and thawed out and cleaned the line along with a complete visual inspection of the entire sewer line from the house to the street. Technician “Craig” was great, was very informative regarding my heating system and radiators. He had no problem answering any of my questions with articulate details including showing me specific components of the furnace and bleeding of my radiators while also providing me with the do’s and don’t. This is the second time I called on 123 other than for my furnace (Clogged backed up pipping) and each time someone was dispatched to my residence in a shorter time than expected and resolved the issues.

We've had great experiences with 128 for HVAC maintence and now with replacing our hot water heater. Charlie came to our service call on a Sunday & was so friendly and explained our options thoroughly. The next day, Andy did an outstanding job replacing our hot water heater and bringing everything up to code. From start to finish, Andy and his team were professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly thorough. They explained what needed to be done, made sure all the updates met current code requirements, and completed the work efficiently without cutting corners. Can't say how impressed I was with how quickly and efficiently Wayne and his crew came in to install a new mini split system for our house. This was an emergency replacement since our gas boiler (which feeds our steam radiators) cracked a week ago and required a complete replacement since the system was really old. It also required an electrical panel upgrade and water heater replacement. This is one of those instances where I feel like they couldn't of done anything better given the circumstances.

Patrick didn't give me the run around. He said he would show up in fa ew hours and he did, actually even earlier then expected and we needed the service asap, since our main Sewer line was clogged. He gave us a great price, didn't over charge us like those R guys and got things fix right. In no time we were back in business. I highly recommend him.

Drain medic in Nashua went above and beyond literally for me. They came up to Concord and that is well outside their area of operations to fix a problem we had been having with our sewer being backed up. They were here within 4 hours of being called by our plumber. Considering a total of four houses are connected to the problem pipe that was backing up into our basement you can bet we were super relieved to know they were on their way. They fixed the problem quickly and efficiently. They also educated us on some low cost maintenance solutions to manage the problem going forward. They did all of this at a very reasonable price and with a pleasant attitude. I take pride in using small business owners whenever I can and keeping them on my contact list. For the quality of the work which shows in every detail and level of expertise North Point Plumbing and Heating has great prices!!! you guys should be charging more... but shout out to ya'll during these tough times this is a plumbing company that won't rape your pockets, will get the work done, and they clean up after themselves.
