Expert Drain Cleaning in Portland, ME

I hired another company to do a pre inspection scope of my mainline sewer. The first company couldn't get the camera through what they were calling a house trap. I panicked after having seeing prior issues in friends and other places that I had owned. I called Zoom drain and they were out same day and even fit me in a couple hours after calling [which is unheard of nowadays]. The staff in the office was amazing and they sent over a tech that had very advanced knowledge of sewer systems and quickly got to work and did a tremendously good job explaining, documenting and recording. Got through the sewer and found a defect in the sewer. Zoom drain quickly sent over a estimate for a repair so that I could accurately negotiate which I was able to do well with the amazing investigative service that was done by the tech that was sent! Long story short 2 very professional, hard working and quality driven install techs named Noah and Aiden came to my house to do a process that they called lining. In this stressful time these 2 guys knew what they were doing. They were obviously very well trained and did a wonderful job fixing my problem. I feel confident to inquire to all my friends that when it comes to your sewer trouble that Zoom drain is the company to call! Thank you to the ladies in the office, the tech that came to do my sewer scope. The amazing staff that quickly drew me a estimate and especially to Noah and Aiden for doing such a great job. I can now rest easy knowing my basement is safe! Thank you all!

We had an excellent experience with Johnny from Zoom Drain! He was extremely friendly, professional, and thorough from start to finish. He cleaned out our pipes all the way to the street and did an outstanding job. I especially appreciated that he wore booties in the house—even going up and down the stairs—which shows how respectful he is of customers’ homes. Johnny was also able to stay longer to complete an extra jet power wash and run a camera through the line to help us understand our next steps. I was so impressed with the responsiveness and rapid service from Ecoclean. I had moved into a new home on a Friday, and woke up Saturday morning to the sewer line backing up into the basement. The employee answering the phone was very kind, and assured me that someone would be at the home before noon. And the technician was there by 10:30! He was wonderful, very informative and was able to resolve the issue quickly and efficiently. The charges were reasonable considering it was a Saturday, and I will absolutely call again should the need arise.

The entire process using EcoClean was extremely positive. I called, they were able to get a technician to my property with in 30 minutes of my call - I understand this was cause someone was in my area already, but still it was outstanding. The technician (Tanner) was very good - professional, knowledgeable, and swift. I highly recommend using EcoClean for any of your clogs or any other unpleasant plumbing situations.

We called late on a Saturday not sure what the problem with our toilet was beyond the classic “it won’t flush the water down.” Tamara was able to walk me through the troubleshooting process to determine if they were the right company to help me, in other words was my issue drain related or more of a toilet hardware/plumbing issue. Once we determined it was the drain she was able to give me an estimate and get someone to come out. Less than an hour later the technician called to let me know he was on the way. Once he arrived he did some more troubleshooting and quickly determined what was causing the issue and resolved it. There was no mess, in fact he left the bathroom cleaner than he found it. Total cost came in under the estimate and now my toilet works better than it ever has. Thank you Ecoclean for your prompt and professional service.

I had a great experience with 207 Plumbing and Heating. They were able to come out the same day to fix a leak in my shower drain, which I really appreciated. Steve was professional, respectful, and communicative throughout the entire process. He got right to work, quickly identified the issue, and replaced the leaking shower drain efficiently. The whole experience was smooth and stress-free. I highly recommend 207 Plumbing and Heating and wouldn’t hesitate to call them again in the future.

Follow up to owners response to my review below… First of all, I didn’t call you on Friday to come to my home. I was scheduled for Monday to reconnect my sink but because of the pending storm and you had a plumber available you called me come immediately. I asked for an itemized invoice to see why you would charge almost $500 for an hours work and was told it was a fixed price. You reduced it to $450 when your plumber called your office about my concern with the high price. The plumbers did a good job but your pricing for the work equates to over $300 labor rate. I should have refused the quote as it wasn’t an emergency but just wanted to get it done. Lesson learned about getting quotes from others before scheduling work. Your response to negative reviews could be better. After reading customer testimonials regarding “reasonable pricing”, I contacted 207 Plumbing & Heating to disconnect and reconnect a sink while we had new cabinets installed. I was charged $285 to cut the piping and cover the drain. When they came back to reconnect install drain piping and solder two water lines for a temporary sink, they wanted $495. I couldn’t believe the price for an hours work and complained. They came down to $450. I would not recommend this company. Shop around!

A+ experience, start to finish. They quickly provided me with an estimate based on photographs I emailed them of my water heater, which needed to be replaced. I called to book the job on a Friday, they were here by the following Tuesday, and the job was done before lunch time. The tech (Steve) was right on time, and was as courteous and respectful as any contractor you can imagine having in your home. He was focused, but still patiently took the time to answer several of my questions. These folks set the bar for how a Heating & Plumbing experience should go. If you're questioning whether or not to hire them...just hire them!

Courtney was friendly and courteous in all of our communications. She was able to arrange for Garrett to come to my home within 24 hours of my telephone call. Garrett presented himself in a professional manner. He was knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. Due to the relatively limited nature of the work, which I had requested, he was able to complete the project in timely fashion was just one visit to my home. My experience with Beach Comber Plumbing and Drain was a very positive one, and I plan to consult Courtney and Garrett for my plumbing needs in the future.

I called Beach Comber to clear a stubborn bathroom drain in the upstairs apartment I rent. Garrett arrived within hours, cleared the drain for my tenant and he identified what needed to be replaced so the issue could be resolved permanently. We discussed how to access the plumbing so that it would cause minimal disruption to my renter. The morning of the appointment, I received a text with Garrett’s ETA and he arrived within minutes. The job was completed as planned and I was pleased with the extra care Garrett took to make clean, minimal cuts to the ceiling drywall, all while working efficiently and neatly. My highest recommendation for Beach Comber. They have set a high standard for plumbing contractors and I will absolutely call them again.

Had a plugged kitchen sink drain & contacted several companies with Jophil providing the quickest availability. Kyle provided excellent service assessing the situation which required several different approaches & ensured it was working properly. My water boiler went belly up RIGHT before a storm was rolling through, I looked at the forecast while trying to get it started. In just a few days it was to drop to 9 degrees... and I had no heat. My biggest worry was about my pipes freezing over, so I called Heritage to see what they could do for me if anything. Everyone was so responsive, I had a tech out to my house the next day. He showed me what was happening to my boiler, water was leaking from a valve onto the cirquit board and fried one of the fuses. I was so dissapointed because the boiler I had was a Biasi which I can't get parts for anymore, and this wasn't something I could just pop another fuse into. So I needed a new one. The project manager was out the very next day to go over options with me, financing and all, and was able to get me scheduled for an instal right quick, and made everything easy for me. The next day Christopher and Caroline showed up and worked their butts off trying to get everything up and running for the night so they could save my pipes from freezing. I now have a beautiful new water boiler installed, and one that is leagues better than my previous unit. and my pipes were never in danger. Everyone on their team was very friendly, knowledgable, and professional. My gratitude belongs to them, and now if I ever have any issues again, I know exactly who I'm gonna call and it ain't the Ghostbusters. Thank you, everyone at Heritage, and may your days be blessed.

So I didn’t even realize how bad I had it, even before the kitchen faucet broke to the point of flooding down in the cabinet below. But now after using the new faucet Elijah installed (In probably 1/10 of the time I thought it would take to do) I realize my old faucet was horrible, blasphemous for even trying to call itself a faucet next to this one. Elijah was very knowledgeable and explained everything, showing me thee corrosion on my old system that actually resulted in him not even having to make any cuts to remove it because it literally just broke off in his hand. He explained other options for the future and laid everything out very clearly. And that’s not the only thing; I only had to do dishes in my bathroom For less than one single day before standing in front of my shining, glowing, beautiful new faucet that I can hear calling out to me in sweet tones. This might sound like an over exaggeration… But I’ve been looking for Dishes to wash because it’s so enjoyable now. Not a single drip of water spills over the side because of how the faucet detaches, and how there are different modes of water pressure and type of spray. It’s just so wonderful, and I’m very thankful. In all seriousness, a wonderful choice and I’m very happy I went with Heritage Home Services, or I wouldn’t be where I am now, (no longer crammed into the bathroom balancing dishes on a bookshelf I dragged in, or standing in front of my old faucet while water splashed all over me *and* everything else, but experiencing the enjoyment of this smooth, accommodating, gorgeous faucet that actually makes me WANT to keep doing more dishes). Donnie did an amazing job. The antique plumbing was difficult but he conquered it beautifully. Much appreciated. His patience and knowledge saved my downstairs ceiling. The Home Advantage maintenance and prevention, they offer, saved me $$ and will in the future for other upgrades. For a stressful situation he made it a pleasure.

Superb service for an emergency leak in a PEX supply line. Called about 7:20 AM and Steve was here by 8:30. Diagnosed the problem in a wall where a nail fastening a baseboard had punctured the hot water supply line some 2 years ago and had finally rusted enough to spring a leak. By about 10:15 the problem was corrected including installing two additional ball valves for future safety. Highly recommend!

Andy and the crew at Coastline Plumbing are extraordinary! Not only did they beautifully resolve some issues in our very old home that other plumbers had declared impossible, they helped us to renovate 3 bathrooms! The age of our house makes all such undertakings very challenging but they thoughtfully, patiently, and expediently resolved all issues and we could not be happier with the result! They are always very professional, so easy to communicate with, and take great pride in their work and caring for their customers. Andy and the crew at coastline plumbing are incredible! He installed a new hot water heater for me within 48 hours of reaching out. The heating tank he installed was cracked from the manufacturer, not his fault, when I reached out on a Friday evening at 8pm, he responded immediately and had it replaced by 8am on the following day, which happened to be a Saturday. When my kitchen faucet broke and wouldn't turn off AND the valves below the sink broke at the same time, I called Zach at Diamond Plumbing. It was about 5 pm on a Saturday and he was over in under an hour. He was knowledgeable and efficient (and gracious about delaying his own Saturday evening plans!) and did a great job. Would highly recommend!
