From the moment he arrived, Isaac was professional, calm, and clearly knew what he was doing. He quickly diagnosed the problem, explained the situation in plain terms, and immediately got to work. Within an hour, our pipes and lift station—completely backed up—were fully unclogged and running smoothly again. What impressed me most was not just the speed, but the thoroughness and care. Isaac treated our home and situation with respect, making sure everything was handled properly and that we understood what had been done. I had a drain line issue in my washroom, water was pooling on the floor, I called three other companies and they were backed up for days, I called Arctic Sewer and Drain and within minutes scheduled a service call that same afternoon. The Tech arrived, seen and diagnosed my issue, went right to work, explained to me what needed to be done and he was speedy, got right to it with right equipment ,friendly and even snaked my main drain to street. Now I am comfortable knowing I have good drainage in my pipes. I recommend this company for the quick return communication and quick service for what was a stressful situation.

I had a tub that was not draining. I had called Alaska Sewer & Drain, who I have used before and they did not return my call and when I called them back it was forwarded to someone's cell phone that had nothing to do with the company! I called Arctic Sewer & Drain and they got me on their schedule. They showed up ahead of schedule and were polite and friendly. Cleared my tub drain (hair gremlin) and were in and out in 30 Minutes! I am impressed and very happy with Arctic Sewer & Drain. They have definely earned me as a customer. Thanks Isaac's!!!

Above and beyond service. I had a clog in my drains the day after I moved into my new home. After the Home Warranty contractor came out and unsuccessfully cleared the clog I called One Stop for a Vac Truck service. Spencer took the time to discuss the issue, advised that a less expensive service to snake with his equipment would address the problem through a toilet. After discovering his equipment was too large to fit into the selected bathroom, they replaced my toilet seal and toilet at no additional charge, successfully cleared the clog through the outside clean out, and used their camera to measure out and show me where the clog was also with no additional charge. This was way beyond the scope of what was charged and truly exceptional customer service. This is my go-to if I ever run into issues again. 10/10ths Do Recommend.

Called Friday night and was told they would be able to come in the morning 🎉. Seth came unclogged the stop up in the main line right away in the morning! He was done annd left before any one else in the house were even awake! Excellent customer service very knowledgeable and friendly!!! Will be using again!! Thank you!!!🎉

We had a little emergency at the house and these guys were able to be at the house within 4 hours of us calling. I forget the guy's name who showed, but he was very professional and informative about what was happening and what needed to be done. The price was extremely reasonable as well. Very impressed!

I can highly recommend this place. I needed my drain cleaned and scoped. I had another company quote me over five times the price. Chugach did a great job, I would hire them again in a heartbeat. They were professional, gave me a digital copy of the video of my clean drain. The cleaning was excellent. Drain looks great. Most importantly, they were honest. They didn't try to upsell me on expensive and unnecessary repairs.

The tech, Cody, was super knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. He had my drain flowing free and unclogged in 20 minutes, then spent the rest of the hour re-snaking/jetting the pipes, making sure there would be no problems later on. Truly outstanding. Can't recommend these guys enough.

Great service! I had grey water come up through my garage drain late Friday night. I called AK Rooter and talked through the issue and agreed to a Monday appointment to avoid weekend OT. They snaked the pipes and let me know there was a blockage caused by HAIR! They flushed the system and were on their way.

After another company dropped the ball, AK Rooter jumped in and dealt with my clogged toilet within hours. James was friendly, polite, informative and, most important, great as his job. This card is definitely going on the fridge for any future issues.

I had a severely clogged garage, drain issue and James save the day! It was a very stubborn clog, but he did not give up. As a matter of fact, he could not get it the first visit and return several days later with a new idea and cleared the drain immediately. I was only charged for the first hour of Service … They did not charge for the second visit. I highly recommend this family run business

Bob is an amazing man super nice and professional no BS. Our kitchen drain was clogged. I called two other so called professionals to busy to call back. Both flaked on me. Bob kept his word don’t waste your time. It was flat rate of $130 no more ever he said. Don’t bother buying a snake that wasn’t long or good enough. Like I did then the time and frustration . Just call Bob Curry he’s nice on another level that is almost nonexistent these days.

I run a property management and used Curry's in the past. We called today and they were able to get out there fast to check on a clogged toilet. Regrettably he wasn't able to get it at the time, as he was trying to fit us in between a few other jobs. He recommended us to another crew and he didn't even charge for going out there in the first place since he didn't have the time to fix it. We will definitely be using Curry's again in the future. Very responsive, prompt, and honest.

Bob was professional and a great communicator. He was able to come over in a timely manner and came on time (same day I called him) to clear out a pipe clog. He also talked me through how to prevent the problem from occurring in the first place in the future.

This company was recommended to me by a few local friends when I asked for the recommendation on my Facebook page. He was patient, observant, methodically eliminating causes of the leak…and finally found it!! Great job!! October 3, 2025 Gerald was the first Plumber to actually accurately identify the problem and I’m very fortunate that he was the plumber that finally fixed it. It was no simple task. The Pipe laid against the exterior wall fixed in place with blown foam insulation that was rock hard Immobilizing the drainage pipe and making removal quite difficult . The hardened insulation had to be chipped away from the leaking pipe.After he did this he was able to cut the pipe out. He replaced the pipe redirecting itt down through a new opening in the floor. True, true his initial impression, a large crack in the pipe Was quite visible! Now everything is flowing well no leaks. I’m delighted. He is a great asset to Drain Masters, and I can’t thank him enough for his expertise.

Anthony, our professional service tech, was generally happy, confident, and reassuring. Our floor drain was plugged. He explained what he was going to do to clear the drain. Then, he effortlessly and with purpose unclogged the drain with a commercial grade snake. Afterwards, Anthony shared some tips for a bacteria grade drain cleaner to use as a regular maintenance tip for our drains. Great service, wonderful dispatch.

Woke up to no water in the house and quickly determined there was a leak in the water main between the city line and my home. I called Rock Solid Heating and Plumbing, and John responded right away. He came out, assessed the issue, and confirmed that the City of Anchorage needed to shut off the water. Rather than delaying service, John explained he had just received an urgent call from an elderly couple in the Valley and asked if he could send another technician to me instead. I appreciated the honesty and agreed. While waiting for the city and the second technician, I received a call from Michel, who clearly explained the situation and let me know he was on his way. He arrived shortly after and got straight to work. Once the water was shut off, Michel completed the repair in under 30 minutes. Both technicians were professional, friendly, and took the time to answer all of my questions. Rock Solid sent out a couple of guys for a furnace and water heater install and they were both incredibly respectful and knowledgeable. Kyle in particular patiently walked through a series of questions I had before hand while communicating the logistics of time and space and access for the project. He provided his number and kept in contact with me through the install and even after was kind enough to take a call and review additional clarifications I had. I want to give a kudo to Rock Solid Plumbing & Heating company. On Black Friday, my senior tenant woke up to a cold house without heat, and I was out-of-town. Worried that my tenant might catch a cold, we immediately started to call different companies. Most of the companies either don't have anybody on-call or they never return my call (which is understandable given it is the day after Thanksgiving). Rock Solid picked up the phone, the guy on the phone was very professional and calm. He got us scheduled immediately. In an hour, Michael showed up to the house. He opened up the thermostat, there were two batteries in the thermostat, turned out it was out-of-battery. He instructed my tenant to switch out the battery and in a second, the heat came back on. Rock Solid didn't charge us or send us a bill afterward. I truly appreciate Rock Solid and Michael's help on Black Friday. Safe to say, this company earned our business onward. I will for sure book an appointment for a furnace tune up next year, and I recommend this company to other people as well! P.S: Rock solid please don't send me a bill after seeing if you forgot to charge me LOL.

Ricky from Klebs' was amazing. He responded to an emergency call when my heater stopped working on Jan 4, temp -8F. He was so professional and had my heater working in an hour. I am so grateful and so impressed. I will be used Klebs for all my heating needs going forward.

Well, Klebs was responsive in calling me back on a weekend. He talked about the issue; my heater was not working. He suggested we call in the morning as it wasn’t that cold out, and that would make it a normal house call rather than a after hours, expensive call out. After working on the heater and discovering a fourth fuse, I ended up replacing the fuse and it fixed the issue… But I didn’t know it. I had turned off the machine from the switch in back.That is why i didn’t realize my fix.So when the after hours Klebs guy came by… after some discussion he flipped the switch on… Everything worked! So I had to pay a $300 after-hours stupid tax. And glad to do it.

My house furnace quit working so I called Klebs Mechanical, they sent a technician over to troubleshoot the problem, he found three things wrong with it. My furnace is 20 years old, he told me he would try to find the parts, I called them up to see what the status of the parts was left messages no call back, I finally got a hold of someone and a week later sent another person with the parts out but couldn’t fix it, he told me he would try to get the right part but the next day he called me back and told me I was better off investing in a new furnace fixed myself.

We had some ceiling damage from a slow leak in our rental condo. I was going out of town, so I called around to try and get a quick estimate.. At first Sound Mechanical didn’t have any appointments, but said they’d call if something came open. It did, and the plumber, Eric, arrived as expected! He was able to quickly find the leak source and efficiently cut a neat hole in the sheetrock.. He also spotted the source of another leak that I thought was a non-plumbing related issue. He promptly fixed both leaks using a tool that compresses copper pipe instead of having to sweat it. So much faster with no torch flame! The price was reasonable, and I am very happy with Eric’s service and professionalism. Sound Mechanical will be our go-to for any plumbing issues!
